The giant slides... unmatched. The sheer rush of hurtling down that slide, using your feet to cheat in the race, like nothing Ive ever felt. Also an incredible hill for rolling down. Really, what more can a girl ask for.

Nice for flying kites, running or lolling around on the grass fields, viewing Boston from a distance. Also a vegetable garden with instructive signs to show you what your food looks like growing up.

One of the best city views in the Boston area. Nice, with lots of street parking. Ball field, basketball court, playground, and those outdoor workout thingies. Not huge (about 11 acres) but well worth a visit on a nice day, even if just for the bite.

This park is amazing with plenty of shade, picnic areas and, of course, play area. The huge slide is awesome and my kids enjoyed it. The only drawback is that its not enclosed but theres an enclosed park, legit, across the street at the school if you need the added security or peace of mind.

It was a beautiful park with good sitting and (short) strolling walks. It has a magnificent view of the Boston city skyline, which is particularly excellent when you go there in time for the sunset, as I did. This is probably pretty circumstantial, but some guy had brought a telescope and a lot of people were gathered around it, forming a line to look into it and listening to the guy explain astronomy. It was quite the lovely community event and this park seemed very accommodating for it.

Gorgeous park with a beautiful view of the Boston City Skyline. Cute little playground that is perfect for toddlers. Sadly my cross country team had a horrible hill repeats workout where we had to go up and down the hill 17-20 times. This was torture and should be outlawed (like 5 ppl threw up). There is a lot a benches in this park and it is next to an elementary school, making it even more ideal for kids. 10/10 would recommend.

Beautiful place with a gorgeous view of the Boston skyline. Quiet area with easy access to buses. There is a playground for kids and a lot of open space to run around in. Its on a very steep slope so it is definitely not the most accessible of parks, but its reasonably navigable even for folks with disabilities. Its also right off of MA route 2, and only a few minutes bus ride from Alewife Station. I would highly recommend this park to anyone whos looking for a fun place to go in Greater Boston!

Fun park when were willing to travel. The big slide is the obvious attraction. Its not too fast and doesnt destroy pants (i.e. dont need card board to ride down on) plus the surrounding hills are great for other creative play (imagination games). There is a standing seesaw type equipment between the little kids and big kids area that I think Ive seen hurt every person whos gotten on it and a slide made of rotating tubes (think UPS package mover) which is fun looking but asking to pinch fingers and not as fun to be on so watch out for those two but otherwise awesome.

Really nice park, large open areas, also has a lot of height variation, perfect for drone flying, or surface RC. Enough space for my Traxxas UDR to hit 50mph with plenty of room to hold it flat out. Best for RC when park is empty of course. You absolutely must watch out for children, which tend to stay towards the playground at the lower grade of the park. The top grade (of 3 levels) is usually wide open in the late fall, and early spring, between school hours typically. Weekends are busy except in winter. Beautiful view of Bostons wonderful skyline when standing at the upper two height levels. This is not an AMA sanctioned flying park, so keep that in mind if flying drones or other aircraft.Ive flown here many times, but with racing drones only, and only when a level is mostly empty. Surface vehicles are a great choice here though, again only when mostly open and void of parents and children.
