Disappointed that seeing a good amount of kids not wearing their masks; even though they had a sign saying you MUST wear a mask. You cant just wear it when you come in then take it off. Unless using the treadmill where it would be hard to breath. They did however had their machines spread 6 ft. apart all throughout the gym.

The Arlington Players perform at the theater at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center. TAP’s musicals are typically outstanding for community theater. The photo accompanying this post is of the set for TAP’s 2019 production of Arsenic and Old Lace.

Good place to get active and have fun at the same time! Largest indoor track in the DMV... with basketball courts... tennis.. and some gym equipment. They also have classes on certain days.. yoga.. dance..etc. I see a lot of seniors visiting this place. Its located in Arlington, Va. and if you live there you get a discount to join. If not its $90 for a yr. Or daily a $16 fee and if a resident only $8. I gave it 4only because I think the price should be the same for everybody whether you live in Arington,VA or not!

They were mowing while others were waiting on a number to get produce after at SalArmy nearby. Wasnt clear if pedestrians would be allowed from the flyer, but got in and they did. Vehicle and ped line was makeshift (starting likely an hour before) and chemical toilet is gone, which I might have needed and likely not allowed inside. Ymmv

Great community center. Has a ton of features from outdoor fields, BB courts (indoor and outdoors), weight room, pickle ball, sauna and more. The only negative I can say is that they don’t have a squat rack. Non-student annual membership is $195 which averages to about $16/month which is a certified steal considering all the features you get. If your a student it’s $52/yr.

Good indoor track but parking is not adequate to serve the people who attend the track meets. There is a parking lot but it wont fit more than 20-30 cars and you have to find roadside parking in the busy neighborhood.

Great place for the community to use tennis courts, soccer fields, basketball courts, and a playground for the little ones. Has an off-street parking lot. Its incorporated as part of the middle school, but has its own entrance off of 2nd Street by the playground. It always well cared for and clean.

In the heart of Arlington is this wonderful athletic and artistic facility. They have a huge indoor space including track, at least five basketball courts - convertible to volleyball or tennis and all of the exercise equipment you might want. Issues; it does get busy, certain days are blocked off for events or kids days and sometimes the teenagers can be a bit of a rolling pack around the place. Generally it is pretty clean, but it has a YMCA public feel to it.Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz

Its rare when I cant get a tennis court here...unfortunately, the Parks and Recreation Department cares more about the soccer fields, which were just redone. Played earlier tonight and only 8 of the 32 lights for the tennis courts worked (but 100% of the lights on the two soccer fields worked).
