The new facility is nice, but they only built one gym. Thats like a let down, also the gym temperature is whatever the temperature is outside. Meaning if its 33 outside it would be 36 in the gym. One staff member was nice and very helpful. The other was unwelcoming didnt speak, I guess he or she is the enforcer.

This was a lovely place. Its was spacious and my Granddaughter loved it, we held her High School Open House in on June 2, 2018.

Has an amazing, cool pool and a peaceful park next to it.

Great indoor family pool

Its a great place for my daughter to go. She loves it. My daughter has been going here for summer camp. It keeps her active and happy. Lunch and snacks are provided during the day for her although she complains about the food not being good. My only problem has been when my little brother (who also goes here for camp) was being bullied by another child, I dont feel that the situation was handled well.

Good place to take the kids swimming

Total disappointment. I do not recommend. I called in advance for times and was told to come they were opened. We got there and told only lapse but we could still swim. Before we stepped foot in the pool I was told we should not be there if we werent doing lapse. My son and I only wanted to get in the pool to get out the heat. We arrived about 6:15pm to swim til 8pm but were asked to leave and come back another day as we stood next to the pool. I explained that 2 phone reps and the guy I paid $9 to told me we could swim. I was then told hes new and shouldnt have told us we could swim. The lady was nice about it, Gail, I believe. She offered us like a raincheck to come another day. Remind you Id pain and we were already in our swim clothes and feet in the water. Anyway, minutes later we were asked nicely to stay Only at the entrance by the steps so other swimmers could do lapse. There were maybe 4-5 people there total. No problem we stayed right by the steps in 3ft so I could teach my son to swim. If that were the end of the story I would give it a 3 star but minutes later the same guy I had paid is now life guarding and comes tells me we have 5 minutes to get out the pool because they will start aerobics. HELLO! Dont you think before I paid my $9 at 6.45pm if we could only be in the pool for 45 minutes or less that would have been the time to mention it. Then Ms Gail came to tell us we had yo get out the pool. We spent 10 minutes of our time there talking about we had to leave or get out the pool in minutes. I think we were actually in the pool 30 minutes. We had to clear the pool before 7pm so an aerobics class could get in. Phone reps suck. Cashier sucks. Phone recording sucks. Total miscommunication and no refund or raincheck given. I have no plans to return and dont recommend. 1-star. Grumpy pool and the German swimvad on Sublet 10c better but they dont open til June 3rd after schools close. Well be there and forget about this place.

Hugh Smith is a great activity center with a section for seniors. The streets around it are undergoing major repairs and the center will be doing the same soon. Call 1st for the days situation and instructions to get there!
