Fantastic little theater space. Id never been before, and was quite charmed. A delightful black box theater, right near Crystal City. It only loses a few points for not having a proper lobby space and for being a little tricky to find.

Its located in Multi use School/Arts complex accessible from 395 or Rt. 1 in Alexandria. Photos are from a production of Shakespeares The Tempest. Lots of parking. Large roomy space.

The venue was great for the performing arts. We were just not thrilled with the production. But the acting was terrific. We want to try next season when they have new material.

A small intimate theater space tucked behind an elementary school. Its a really fun place to see a play.

Just saw Heathers: The Musical. Excellent performance. Small, intimate theater. My daughter and her friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

We attended a sold out performance of Assasins, which was a very well put together community theatre performance. The seating was fine, the actors talented, and the staff enthusiastic and personable. The Gunston center is a bit of a maze with it being a school and housing multiple theatre spaces, also the instrumentation washed out the actors if they werent careful. Still would definitely come to another performance here!

Saw Heather. Actors were great. Music 2 loud. Stage was excellent. Staff pleasant.

Wonderful experience! The acting was great and their singing was even better. I would recommend to anyone looking for an informal but very well put together show!

The Misenthrope was a wonderfully witty, fun play.

Pleased to find others in the area who wanted to see the play Gospel At Colonus enacted. Thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Brought back memories of my first seeing it on t.v. and my many replays if its stirring sound track. Bravo!

Located in a school, this community theatre becomes an adult weekend cultural arts gem. Small theatre provides real cast-audience intimacy.
