Stellar performances! We have seen several musicals and plays here and the quality is always legit. The bar service is expansive as well and you have to get a cookie. Do it! Friendly staff as well at the box office :)

The musical was amazing but the seats were very small. Im tall and I tried to purchase where Id have some leg room. Well, it was hard to sit with fencing against my knees. There should be some notice about that. The ushers were nice and switched seats with me and my date after intermission.

We enjoyed the experience. The theatre is surrounded by free parking, and there are many restaurants and shops in the Shirlington area right in front of the theater. The halls for each of the performances (there are two) are smaller than most of the performance venues were used to in the metropolitan Washington area. Theres a snack and liquor bar on the same level as the halls, so its possible to get to the theatre early and eat there or have a drink before the show without even leaving the facility. And the play we saw, Gun and Powder, was worthwhile as well.

This place is so cozy and intimate. The productions are nicely done and feel like a private showing almost. They have good snacks and drinks and the staff is very friendly. There really isnt a bad seat in the house and compared to Kennedy center the price is pretty reasonable. Only reason this is getting 4 instead of five stars is the upper seats and so close to the rail that your legs feel very crammed Im 5-5 with shorter legs so I cannot imagine what my 6 friends feel AND this place is always freezing so make sure to bring a jacket or cardigan.

Very impressive theatre setup. Nice waiting area, with a good mix of options if you dont have time to eat. Cool gift shop also with mix of merch. The theatre itself was really well setup for an excellent view all over for the production of Blackbeard that I saw this weekend. Great sound, nice effects, very entertaining! I have recommended this to several groups of friends already and will be keeping an eye on upcoming productions.

Saw Assassins. What fantastic production. This play does have gun shots but they are not too loud and most dont catch you by surprise. Signature is a relatively small theater so I dont think theres any obscured view and all seats seem to give full view of the stage. Seats are actual chairs not standard theater seats but are comfortable. Lobby of theater offers some food and beverage choices along with a small gift shop.

Signature Theater is a marvelous, contemporary space hosting first rate theater. Theres a great bar serving light, pre theater dinners and nice wines and spirits. Free parking is available but a little difficult for a newcomer to find. The garages were mostly full but I lucked out at the Campbell Street Garage!

Signature Theatre, just south of the Pentagon in Arlington, Virgina, is among the great regional theaters of the world, and is particularly noteworthy for producing new musicals, reinterpreting classic musicals for an intimate, black box stage, and perhaps above all for producing the works of Stephen Sondheim. We are blessed to have such a remarkable and internationally-acclaimed theater just a short ride from Washington, DC.

Shows are always great. However, never sit in “dcb dress circle”. Terrible seating in balcony! They put in new rows of high stools that are bolted to floor. My husband and I are six ft tall. Our knees are crammed into seats of people in front. The seats are too short to allow an adult to sit comfortably. The posts are every three seats blocking view.

Saw Act of God, Nov 2017. Small intimate theater which would be great if the performance was priced to match. I had high expectations given reviews and price ($104 a seat) but was disappointed - my overall review is that it was only somewhat amusing and, in the end, easily forgettable. That said, I liked the venue, its intimate setting and its potential to provide memorable entertainment.
