Wild !The wild oasis...When hiking, lord knows , back in the woods and were those dog prints in the mud or a Bob cat ?Not to worry. Human traffic and foot trails abound as well as their ever present cell phones.

This is beautiful place to be with our family and friends. But be careful with a little hairy worm, it looks like a drop. Today I had contact with one of them. I leaned against some stones and it turned out that I had contact with the worm. the path is one of intense burn, abdominal pain and my arm is stiff. I am a 36 year old man ... I dont want to think what would happen with a boy.

Its a nice long trail for putting in some miles on the pavement. Its also wide enough for bikes to pass by without much trouble and the edges of the path are mowed grass if you prefer to run on something soft. Trees keep it partially shaded and the trail is relatively flat except for a couple gentle rises.

He enjoys chancing squirrels and watching them run around its a nature sight to see.It has a walking trail, its next to a community center so its very busy. I enjoy being outside walking, running and sitting in a nice quite park. Enjoy!

I come here just to walk with my baby girl and enjoy each time the weather allows. Its always people walking and playing in the field. Theres also a small playground for the children to explore but my little one too young to enjoy. But from what Ive seen their were children enjoying themeslves while their parents watched. So if you wanna get out and see the sun come out take a stroll for 30 mins or more and have fun. Enjoy Life.

Wonderful park for all ages. The many groups boast diversity and acceptance. I love the trail though i think more water fountains should be available on the outter areas with emergency phones and maybe even motion detected cameras at each mile make for safety. Plenty of space for any field sport but wouldnt mind seeing a basketball court or 2. Pavilion rental spaces have electricity but no water connection for the hot summer you. This could help in the spaces being rented more often. Just a couple of recommendations overall my experiences have been great. Hope others will enjoy as i do.

The husband I took our bikes late in the day to this beautiful park and wish we couldve stayed longer! Smooth ride on mostly paved roads makes it perfect for any type of rider. We rode along the Trinity River and it was quite peaceful with lots of wildlife in the brush. Theres a pavilion for picnics and many places along the trail to stop to read about the area along with Historical markers. One trail was closed so if theres been inclinament weather you might want to check to see if any are open for the day. We will definitely be back!

Went there to bird. The park is beautiful, the cement path nice and wide with benches placed along the way. Mile markers every quarter mile so in case you would need emergency help or just to tell someone where you are you can be found. Lots of huge trees shade the path so this place can be enjoyed when its warmer.

Really great trail. Its all paved so be careful to wear the right tennis shoes! You will find your self an hour down the path looking and enjoying and the walk back will be tough on the back and feet without footwear. Also bathrooms only at park parking none on trail so you know what to do.

Those Green trees which provided me shade when I got tired.. I love this park :) would have given it 5 stars if there was some sort of arrangement for drinking water.

Great hike and bike trail that goes about 5 miles, but the cement trail to the main park is blocked and has been for several months. There is a connection via a nature trail, and theres a cement trail that connects to city streets that can be taken to the main park. Porta-potties are the only restrooms. Lots of parking. But if you want picnic areas and playgrounds go to the main park.
