My Girlfriend and I used to go here all the time before she moved . We would walk a 2 k early in the morning and enjoy the peace and quiet as this is a beautiful path . It’s great to get here early as it does get packed. The parking is great . You know it’s relaxing getting at one with nature . It’s a beautiful place . I highly recommend it .

I believe if there were look out docks at Windsor road on each inlet for viewing and fishing. There should just be the main boat access Dock. We have now seen a few times as a family and witnessed other families/parties who are careless on how they handle themselves fallen into the lake going into a panic mode some being small children some being multiple ages goofing around on the extra dock.Maybe having a couple lake rangers, we want there to be enjoyment however safety needs to be made important and controlled at the same time. Lake Arlington is a great beautiful asset to our community we need to keep it well maintained in all aspects.

Love this park. The playground is more than beautiful. Love their musical instruments. The work out area is great. The path around the lake is just great to go out for a walk or a good run. Fun for the whole family.

Great place to spend an afternoon. New playground and fitness area, also area around the lake to walk, bike, run, etc. Love it here!

Really fun. Nice shade area with chess tables. Has a music area. We had a bad experience right before leaving, their was this old man yelling at us from 30 feet away. Yelling about are dog (there was no sign about dogs not being allowed on the park) before leaving we heard him say Every Mexican has a dog note: there were one other Mexican family and we were the only ones with a dog.

2 mile trail. Lake. Fishing. Sensory park. Paddle boats. Baby ducks? Need I say more? This place is AMAZING! They even have a little café for snacks, and they do also have restrooms as well. You can easily spend the day here adventuring out on the lake, roaming the park areas and exploring the trail. Bike riding, and roller blading are also frequent on the trail. Its really exhilarating here. Kids & adults can equally enjoy Lake Arlington.

Lovely park. Has a sensory garden and a playground for younger kids 2-5 yrs old and a section for older kids with lots to climb. Has a picnic area, some shade and bathrooms nearby.

Large area, but boat rentals were closed on a weekend. They could really use picnic tables in addition to their many benches throughout the park. Its too tricky to have a picnic lunch.

This is very good park like it is free it is with a play grawnd it is with like a big pwnd for fishing and idk get ing rid off dead budes

Took my 6yo son fishing here. We didnt catch anything but he enjoyed his time there.

Nice place to bring your kids, to walk, exercise or even for fishing.

This place is incredible. The ground is fake grass so it doesnt get muddy or dirty and the kids can run around and play. There is a little playground for smaller kids and bigger playground for bigger kids. Im not worried about my kid falling too hard because of the soft ground. However, both my kids are climbers and so Im thrilled to bring them somewhere they can practice those skills safely.

One of the most beautiful lakes in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where local community can getogether and engage in a whole lot of activities. This year, the play area and lot pf features around the lake has been renovated, and this place is the pride of our entire community. After the 45 mins walk around the lake , I always feel recharged and happy. They have a small beach area, a shop by the clubhouse, restrooms and play area and exercise area. There is a walk and bike trail around the lake. Also fishing is allowed. The birds, the wild flowers and the ever vibrant people- all make the lake special. Watching sunset from the lake is so magical as well. Lake Arlington is always special

A big trail for day escape and nice play area for kids. You can skate, do fishing, kiaking ,cycling, jogging and boating. Take your kids there for day out and pets are restricted to some trails. I liked this place for its beauty

Great little getaway for local surrounding suburbs. Good biking/walk, run track. Boat rental options, fishing is decent.

This place is very good for walking / jogging / cycling...open atmosphere with fresh air & provided with resting places during the activities. There a nice park for children even other can enjoy as well. It is well connected & having ample parking facility. Lot of greenery around the lake is very placent for eyes ...one can definitely enjoy this place. A place for regular health activities..

Its a very nice place to walk, run, bike or enjoy the views of the lake. It does get a little crowded at certain times and not many people are wearing masks but theres still plenty of room to social distance.

You can jog, walk, bike, fish or just watch the sun go down in the lake. Cant help feel envious of the people living on the banks of the lake though!

Nice two mile path around the pretty little retention pond. Good for a walk, or a run, or a bike. Playground for the kids. Ive heard there are some fish, but I dont know the details. All the other walkers seem pretty friendly.

Been running around Lake Arlington for several years now. And it’s my favorite place to run. So much activity and scenery to look at. If you live in the area and haven’t walked a lap plan a visit.I also love the signs that tell you how many miles you are from national parks or forests. It’s kinda funny seeing a sign for something over a 500 miles away.

I like the park and the walk path, I dont like that we cant play in the sand anymore. I dont like that they got rid of the playground in the sand.

The lake is beautiful. They have lots of walkers and people riding their bikes in the summer or rollerskating. They’ve got plenty of benches to sit and watch the waves or the birds. The people that go there are usually very friendly.

The lake is so beautifully and thoughtfully laid out and maintained. The playground is creative and great for both young and old alike. A truly inspiring and restful place to restore.

Very well designed, a playground for all ages from toddler to adult. Havent done the boating yet (the lake is beautiful) Thats next. Very nice bike/running track. Four stars due to the amount of goose droppings on the walkways Sunday. Not cool with many kids running around bearfoot. Hopefully, itll be cleaned before our next visit, as this place is usually spotless.

Actually its a 4.5 star rating and a very nice place to exercise whether walking, running, rowing, or biking with easy access to and from too.

Rented out a paddle boat, relatively cheap and they didnt mind fishing out on the lake, with there was more of a beach. Renovated paths are good for biking. Excellent playground with xylophone and other musical instruments. Epic.

Nice beach area and park but the workers at the boat dock need a major attitude adjustment. They both seem like they hate their job and are constantly rude to park patrons that are trying to enjoy their day. Girl yelled at my toddler to move as she was pushing a canoe around in the sand. Just be polite and ask nicely, thats what i try to teach my kids. Besides that the area is nice but gets a little crowded at times.

Clean. Picturesque. Seems safe, mainly because it is in the open and there is plenty of people there.There is a tiny beach area and playground.We love the fact, that there are linden trees there too, which smell sweet at the end of June:)

One can walk around the lake. A lot of bicyclist there. Small beach there, also you can rent catamaran or boat. On the shorer you can find people fishing. Also there is a kids brand new playground with ropes, drums and small fountain .

Trail for bike, walk, jog, scoot plus a nice new playground area for the kids with a sensory garden. Wish they add a concession stand to make it perfect..or at least have food trucks come by.

Very beautiful park with a great biking/running path. There a cafe inside the main building where you can also rent paddle boats. Theres a playground nearby for children and they allow fishing at this location.

Oops, brought my dog, no dogs allowed!! (Super lame btw!!!). The exercise area is nice and new but I’m 6’4” and this was designed for little people, I can’t really use any of it (more for old people, yep). This place is really beautiful, the atmosphere of kids playing and people exercising is nice to be around. Wished they allowed dogs but I get it, a few bad pet owners always ruin it for those of us that have well behaved dogs that we pick up after. I won’t be back but I recommend if you have kids or live nearby and wanna exercise.

Its like a suburban utopia where families of all races can take their children of all shapes and sizes to play harmoniously; with swings, slides and apparatuses which cater to children of all ages.

I love this place because its so beautiful in every season. And its also great for family picnics and hiking for 2 miles.

This great area includes a 2 mile hard surface walking trail, boat rentals, kids play area lots of benches and of course, the lake to fish. It is well maintained and improved on an ongoing basis.

A great place to exercise, visit with kids or just seat by a bench and relax. They have some boats that you can rent. Fishing is also another activity you can do there.

Nice place to walk, however bicycling athletes are aggressive and now we cant walk on the right. People not as friendly as they used to be. Cool birds and very beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful 55 acre lake along with 2.4 mile track for cycling/walking. There is a newly landscaped play area along with new equipments. There is an open gym and also has a boating, paddle boat facility. There is a public restroom.

Its very near from my apartment. Its a nice place for evening stroll.theres a jogging path around the lake, lots of seating arrangement, children playing area is also there. One unique feature is there are some gym equipments placed in open an open area without any enclosement.

The best lake around this areaSpacious and extended trail around the lake for walking. Boating also there. Must visit on a sunny day
