We recently visited ARC for the first time with my 6yo and 4yo sons. We had a great time enjoying basketball in the gym and walked around to view the other amenities this site has to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful even when I locked my stuff in the locker and forgot the combo. The pool looked nice and we look forward to next time at this newly remodeled facility.

Nice newly renovated fitness center. Features a 25 yd pool, warm water pool, separate diving well, double gym & walk/run track, fitness equipment center and many multi-use spaces. Beautiful facility!Memberships & day passes available

Went for the first time this weekend with husband & kids. Pretty clean but lacking in design plan. Child care room is tiny. Doesnt come anywhere near a match for the size of the facility! Also should include more care hours throughout the day. The womens locker room does not have a single baby changing table?? Does that even pass code? The floors around the pools are very slippery and not flat. I dont feel very comfortable carrying my one year old who isnt walking yet. There are no official weekly open swim times? I have been told I dont know by almost all of the staff. Or that there is no schedule. The birthday party room is also way too small.

Took my Granddaughters there for open swim. We had a great time! The facility is awesome. The girls used the four pools. We had to drag them out of there . Great investment by the AHPD.

Huge gym. Nice size indoor track for running / walking. Several pools. 1 of the pools is heated. Gym has 2 full size basketball courts that can be divided into 4. Volleyball leagues play here. Basketball leagues. Options available all day for different group exercise classes.

Kudos for getting the place reopened on schedule, but the renovations to the existing lap pool and dive well area are very disappointing. Yes, a coat of paint and some new ladders are nice - but the same old tile floor, the same old leaky sauna, the same deteriorating diving boards, and the same unattractive metal bleachers - have stayed. Youd think those things would have been revamped as well during a multimillion-dollar renovation. Obviously not. Makes no sense. The warm water pool is fine, and warm, but I dont know how theyre going to have classes in there. The HVAC is so incredibly loud, you cant hear yourself think.But by far the worst part of the renovation are the new locker rooms. I would say there are now at least 80% fewer lockers, only 5 showers, and no privacy whatsoever. This was not well thought out at all. Lets hope at least the low water pressure and water temperature fluctuation issues from the old showers have been remedied.

This place is nice.They advertise open gym but it is more like open basketball. We asked to have a villeyball net aet up but was told that in an hour pickle ball was going on so no one wanted to make the efforts for an hour. I always thought open gym was all sports.

The pools are fine but the new locker rooms are 10% of the size as the old ones. When classes get out there is not enough room for people to get changed. The person that signed off on this should be fired.

Nice really clean gym, nice equipment, nice environment, but shower area is really small and no towel service. But overall i recommend that for fitness, but remember they dont have free weights for chest.

Great place for the whole family. Lots of things to do! Clean, new and reasonably priced.

Clean facility. Problem is the mens main locker room only has two showers. What happens when quite a few people take classes and wish to take a shower before going to work, Everyone take a number?Cost for Arlington heights tax payers should be reduced because our taxes paid for the facility.

This is a great little place to take the kids when they are stir crazy from being locked inside during the cold winter days...

You have to pay a yearly contract for the workout area. There should be more memberships if you wanted to try it out for a month. Not how gyms work.

Pools are clear and not so cold. Three indoor pools including a zero depth pool, diving well, and full lap pool make it nice for the entire family. I wear crocs and dont use the locker rooms because the floors dont feel sanitary.

The family activity center is perfect for my 4 & 6 year olds. Its great for a couple hours of fun.

Took my daughters and niece to open swim and they loved it. The water was a bit on the chilly side, but that didn’t stop the girls from having fun!

Very good learning facilty for swimming...My kids have been going there for years now and have been doing well...

They offer Membership for 300 bucks for an entire year even for Non resident and given the facilities, I feel this is a bargain.

Great swimming pool. Clean, big locker rooms. Two pools of different depths. Water is not over chlorinated.

My son was so excited to come.Then at the pool he loved it there, usually there is not a lot people for a swimming pool ,and there was lots of space.

Good size pool gaurds have good secure routines during shift changes

Nice place to take family along with Olympic size pool, Kids pool, Skate zone, Tennis courts, BB court, soccer field and childrens play area.Keep an eye on closing times before you visit.

Never has the right time posted on Google. Its understaffed and they almost never pick up the phone.

Enjoy the Olympic pool (not Olympic, as that would be 50 meter) a couple times a week, at noon. Modern, clean, well maintained.

Great place for a family swim area and Olympic swim area. When we went, it was a lot less busy than expected. Staff is friendly and plenty of lifeguards on duty.

Visited it for a swim meet. Was nice.

We visited here for a swim meet.The temperature was balmy (yuck)The seating was very uncomfortable.The match dragged on for what felt like an eternity because they just werent organized.
