Yes, this place is totally old, and not the best maintained (potholes everywhere) but it was really fun, and my daughter loved it! Especially the animals...the crowd was great! We would totally bring the kids back here...even thinking of having her bday here!

Had so much fun her with the kids. The girls had more fun then my son but still it’s picture worthy. Super cheap and a great way to kill a few hours. Very creative ideas. I thought it was better then the ice cream museum. Easy parking , super friendly staff. Definitely take the kids if you have a chance before they leave Thousand Oaks. I know they were set to close but extended by a few weeks due to popular demand.

Great experience, friendly staff! My son loved all of the scenes (bubble pit was probably his favorite). We went during the week so we didn’t have to fight any crowds.

Really cool spot to take kids and take photos. Visually satisfying and its inexpensive. Located at the Arcadia mall so you can shop, watch a movie, or eat afterwards.

My boyfriend and I had scheduled for 12:30 on a Saturday. We showed up at 12:17 and they let us in early as it was not too busy. This place was a lot of fun overall, we took some pretty great pictures. The only thing I will say is some of the displays were broken or worn out, since it had been out for the month and some of the employees seemed like they didn’t want to be there at all which brought down the vibe a little. It’s supposed to be a fun place, so they at least need to be smiling when they tell us the rules of the ball pit, cereal bowl, etc. Other than that, my boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves very much, and I’m glad we have awesome pictures to remember the experience!

So much more fun than we anticipated!! We wanted to have a birthday party for a 30 year old that incorporated wholesome fun for a teenager. This was definitely the place. We went when they first opened on Sunday. No crowds, able to take pictures without other people in the picture. There was staff in every location that offered to take pictures for us and gave us a little extra time in the timed area since no one was waiting. Overall a GREAT time with great pictures to remember it by. I would recommend this to young and old alike.

Really disappointed. I got tickets for October 24 and we could not go because last minute maintenance. Then I got tickets for October 30 hoping my son and I can enjoy all the fun. Then again we couldn’t go because more maintenance problems.

Went with my sister and we had so much fun! Im glad the place was pretty empty because it allowed us to enjoy each room to ourselves. Would definitely go again!

From the moment I saw the FUNBOX LA ads online... I knew I had to bring my family! The Summer installations were perfect for a day out with my little ones. And now... Halloween themed?! We HAD to make this one, as well! ️ Need something New and Fun for Family Day/ Night? FUNBOX LA is it!!

We loved it. I took my kids and all 3 had fun. Our favorites were the room with all the balloons, the infinity room, and cereal bowl. Id definitely recommend this to anyone. Whether its a cute date or a family adventure.

Great photo op! They have many great “rooms”. The staff and pricing is decent. We didn’t feel pressured to move from room to room. There was enough time to enjoy each room.

This was a fun thing to do, I really do recommend it. It brings out the fun side into taking photos! There were a few things that weren’t as good as I hoped. In some of the rooms there was not a lot of lighting which made some photos come out bad. I also thought that there were going to be employees at different parts of the rooms so they can take group photos but the only employees I saw were 3 employees standing out side of the “store?” and a few just walking around the rooms talking. I say if you’ going to have employees walking around at least offer to take group photos for people...

We went to fun box this weekend as a family fun day. It was fun, we took lots of pictures. We took our time in every room , didnt feel rushed. Only complaint is that it was extremely stuffy inside. They need to have the AC on so customers can enjoy the experience. I know a few other people were saying the same thing when we were in there.. i also think its a little over priced. But my kids had fun so thats all that matters

This place was awesome. Its inside the mall. Great place to visit for picture lovers. We drove about an hour (one way) just to get here. After spending lots of time there we finished the day up by getting some food at the door court.

One of the worst $17 Ive ever spend! Not really for kids to have fun... only to take pictures. Wont consider this place fun at all... super cheap, nothing catchy. Super disappointed! And also once you get into the cereal pool you can not get back to re-visit other spots. Oh, and the cereals are some hard rubber rings, if you jump... it kind of hurts. As I said... maid only for pictures... to pretend you are having fun.

I think this place overcharged. Not much of things to do here, mostly for picture taking, you can finish everything within 30 minutes. What really annoyed me is the staff by the waiting line. After we got inside for 15 minutes my son needs to go to the restroom, I approached one of the staff to let her know that I have to take my son to the restroom and will be back ( the restroom locate by the Malls food court ). She said just for your future reference, you need to take care of your restroom issue before you come in... Unbelievable!!!

I did not think this was something for us but since we always want something that is fun for the kids and us, we decided to go at the last minute during our vacation in LA. Its a pop up so some wear and tear but overall we had a blast and our kids loved it. Really was a fun family activity that we could all enjoy and we got some great photos and videos. The price was not bad and the staff was super nice and friendly. Our fav was the giant cereal bowl with these huge spoons, the upside down room and this huge teddy bear tunnel. Its not perfect but hard to find something that our whole family loves and this place has something for all of us from age 5 to 50.

Firstable is pricey for what they offered. the most entertaining spot. just 3 to be exact are timed so is not fun at all too boring and basically just bored halls with random stuff attached to it. but not good at all i dont find any good stuff about this tinny pricey and bored place

I took my grown kids and we had a REALLY GREAT time minus our first contact with 2 employees at the front door who couldnt even manage to acknowledge our presence right in front of them. This is a patrons first impression of a business, and honestly had the exhibit itself not been as good as it was, my first impression with the 2 staff members would have consumed my feedback and review! Let me tell you it would not have been good!!!!!! I am an elite Yelper so I take reviews and feedback very seriously! It is always in the best interest of a business to teach their employees courtesy and customer service. This means that you make sure that your customers feel that their needs are met and are happy. More often than not a customer just wants to be heard. Even if a staff member is busy, they should at the very least ACKNOWLEDGE a person standing in front of them with a response of I will be with you in a few minutes or do you mind waiting a few minutes while I finish taking care of .... To straight up ignore a customer who is clearly standing right in front of you can ruin a business in the long run.There is nothing more important than your customer!

Funbox is definitely a fun place to do some playful shoots whether you plan to publish professionally or as a friend. I really didnt know what to expect even though ive seen a lot of videos of it on facebook and instagram, i thought there was no better way than to check it out myself - and i did. Its affordable and super friendly for families and friends to get together and put together a nice photo album or video.I came in and shot with a Canon DSLR. The lighting in some areas are different from another, and there are some places that were lit by LEDs and other from fluorescent bulbs, so the color temperature changes a bit. If youre shooting on a phone, it should adjust nicely. Some spots are a little brighter than others, and some casts harsh shadows, but if youre not too keen on those, you should be fine. I shot maybe between 3200 and 6400 ISO with F-stop of 4 and shutter speed of 30 for video.There are over 20 different rooms or exhibits to shoot with - my favorite was the mirror room and the small flower background wall with the flower curtains - i was able to do a lot with those.Funbox is located where the Dave and Busters is - if you know where that or the theater is, youre in good shape. The parking area closest to it is the one that is through the 2nd floor of the structure in the back that goes outside. otherwise, anywhere in the back parking structure should be close to it - you might be exiting through the elevators and have to walk through a Johnny Rockets, but its still a lot closer than parking at the Golds Gym or the Promenade deck which is nearly on the opposite side of the mall.Please note: although the exhibits here are interactive and there are a lot of childen, i strongly suggest not to leave your children unattended - it is a playful environment, but its not a playground. Other than that - have fun taking what could possibly be the most memorable pictures for your whole family.PS: they have a parking lot for strollers.

I really wanted the negative reviews to be wrong but unfortunately they were right. This is just a place to take pictures, that is it. Also, it is super worn and dirty already. The balloons in the balloon room were covered with peoples hair, I can only imagine the germs in that cereal bowl. A friend and I took our kids for their birthday and I was so embarrassed that we paid what we did to go. This place is advertised as something its not. We were rushed through the whole thing by the crowds behind us pushing their way through. Its a joke and I want my money and time back. Please take heed of the negative reviews, I do not know who these people are that think its amazing but they are probably the same people taking really weird selfies here or maybe people who never leave the house. This place needs to be sanitized and refurbished to charge what they charge!!!

Its an Instagram photo op. Thats all. I wouldnt consider this a fun kids play place. I happened to get tickets for free when it opened and im so glad i didnt pay for this. Certain rooms i got some cool photos but i had to rush through towards the end because it was getting so hot! Cant take cute photos when youre getting sweaty. Funbox is officially closed now (March) however their Instagram suggests they are making new rooms or opening a different location. Ill be curious to see what happens.

Too expensive for what you get!!!! The place was too warm and dirty, both my sister and I and our kids got sick with virus after visiting the Funbox. Did not turn to be so fun for us. The FrootLoop bowl had a limited time of 5 min. It was not enough for how much money we had to pay. Funbox charges the entry tickets for adults and kids, even if you just stay next to your kid, you pay!

I wanted to love this place as much as the reviews said. On a good note the staff is very friendly!! I pre bought my tickets under the impression they only allow a certain number of people in at a time, sadly this is not true. Overpacked, people are rude and pushy, it is filthy inside, the balloon room had spit all over balloon and there’s an area of 7 rooms where people actually push you to get in and take pictures. It says it’s family and kid friendly, but my 3 year old hated it. She only enjoyed the two interactive rooms, the crayon room and the fruit loop put which they limit to 5 mins only. $17 for adults and $13 for children over 5. This place is designed for old kids and teenagers. Not really a family place. At least I can say I did the funbox?

Over priced, $17 adult ticket, cant pay cash or get a paper receipt. Only thing you can do there is walk around and take pictures.fruit loop pit has a play time limit about 10min depending on the line.
