This park is so beautiful… The statues and amazing water fountain is stellar and very picturesque. A great place to go with small children to enjoy the playground equipment, a fantastic place to have a picnic, a overall amazing place to just connect with nature!

City park is great, large lawn, cool fountain, random art in the gras,and play areas for the kiddos. The only problem is, there are often slightly creepy individuals hanging out at the little pavilion, cussing and drinking what I guess is alcohol. But thats not alllll the time.

City Park is the absolute best, well kept park situated in the heart of our beautiful community.

City Park is a great wide open space in the middle of the city. It has plenty of playground equipment and benches for the parents to watch from.In addition to the daily use of the park they also hold many events here throughout the year. A nice tree filled space to come hang out.

Large park for the kids to play. Summer hosts various venue tents, Art In The Park. Close to the downtown area of Appleton. Quiet residential neighborhood. Good place to go and read a book or hang out with family and friends.

This is one of my favorite parks in the area if not my favorite one. Ive never seen it neglected, is updated every so often, there are restaurants nearby, a very long trail to either walk, bike, skate..., a beautiful pier to either admire the river or shore fish, launch your boat, kayak, whatever, beautiful trees, the houses around are beautiful, library right next to it, great outdoor playground for the kiddos... I would absolutely love to live right on it...

The berries gave me food poisoning not enjoyable

This is a great park. I love to there on the weekends when it is warm to sit on one of the many benches and read. There are benches near the playground but there are also some on the other side of the park if people are looking for a more quiet and peaceful place to relax.

Never a disappointment coming here. Had baby grand-daughter and great grandson along,they loved breakfast. Nakari said his sausage links were magical because they disappeared so fast!! My potato pancakes were made perfectly

Art in the Park was very enjoyable, from seeing all the fantastic art pieces to the music and of course funnel cake s. The committee did a fabulous job!

I came here to find Pokemon for Pokemon Go and I was not disappointed. The park is located right in downtown Appleton which meant that there were a lot of pokestops and Pokemon. Great place to go for community days as there are a lot of people walking around there that you can meet up with. Aside from Pokemon Go, this park is a nice park just to take a stroll through and enjoy the little bit of scenery. It is also an ideal place for a game of frisbee with the boys (with friends).

Spent about an hour at the park playing music with my wife.

City park is always a good park to go to. My son loves it and always a very fun time there. The playground is somewhat newer and is on par with some playgrounds from some of the more updated parks even.

Came for Art at the Park. Love coming here for the local art and music. Every year we find a gotta have it.

Yoga in the Park with Empower Yoga is phenomenal at City Park. The park is always very clean and the landscaping well groomed. I love the fountain there and I always find parking very close, even with it being right downtown.

We go every year to Art in the Park and thoroughly enjoy it every year! The layout is beautiful, easy to navigate, and not crowded. Years ago when we were married at the Houdini museum ~ our guests enjoyed horse and carriage rides through the park. I dont think they allow that any more, but it was very beautiful, romantic and relaxing.

I go to this park mainly for the artificial grass. Easier for the kids to run around and play on. Good location too. Does have a bathroom, pavilion and water fountain - an actual fountain to be confused with bubblers which the park has too. Paved paths for pedestrians connecting corner of the park.

Art At The Park is a fun adventure on a beautiful summer day! So much talent showcased in a park setting!

Pleasant shaded Park with a small pavilion and water fountain. Playground for the young ones and plenty of artists around the area. Art In The Park was awesome too. Streets were blocked off for vendors and food trucks were scattered about. There was also live entertainment at Art In The Park. Oh...and a few of those hidden rocks...painted with a positive message on them too.

Nice rubberized surface with equipment for kids of different ages. My 3, 5 and 8 year olds love it.

City part is one of the oldest parks in the city, as such it has some great trees that provide plenty of shade. With a great mix of playground equipment and open space it has room gor everyone.

A nice feature is that the play areas that are high in the air are only accessible by climbing something. So, it keeps my 2 year old from going places that are too high.

The playground is always obnoxiously full, this park gets a lot of traffic. Not really a good place for walking. Well maintained, though.

This is a really nice park, granted there is only one small structure for smaller children but if you go there when its not busy then you can help them maneuver better throughout the bigger sections. I really like the faux grass instead of the regular wood chips, tar chunks or pebbles; also all the wide open space surrounding the play area for free play and picnics and such is nice, I feel like they could add more because there is so much space but overall a great park.

City Park located in the heart of Appleton is a wonderful place to spend the day I attended Art in the Park and always find wonderful deals fabulous people and creative artists. I cannot imagine anything more perfect than a day in the park with family and the food rocked.

Was a great place to go with your family at one time but now you have homeless people in the shelters that are located in the park and a lot of drinking and all types of other things are going on there that the city is aware of Im sure but I have not seen any change in the area at all sorry to say it is a great-looking park though.

A park you feel safe going to. New playground equipment, great landscaping, and a beautiful fountain. The park had trees as old as Appletons foundation. Has a pavilion. Good spot for a picnic. Appleton has lots of yearly events there. Soleburner walk, Art in the Park, and many others.
