Great place to play pickleball or softball

A gem in the middle of the city. So I got some McDonalds lunch and needed someplace quick to park and eat (my dog was with me). I pulled into the Carter Woods parking lot off Lilac, and within 5 min, 3 deer (a momma and her 2 fawns) and a family of turkey (another momma and maybe 5 or 6 of the babies) came out of the woods to eat on the soccer field. It was SO cool! Am going to try to post the video I took. Theres also appears to be a nature trail next to the parking lot, think ill stretch my dogs legs a bit (once the deer and turkey are far enough away that we wont bother them).

Nice park. Has a playground, several sports fields, a Pavillion, and a nature trail through the ample woods for strolling or dog walking. A gem close to College Avenue and shopping. A real bonus when we bring our pooch to town.

Not a fan of sand, but playground is nice. Pickle ball courts are great. Ball diamonds are great.

It was a nice place. A friend of mine & I got Burger King & went there & ate. It was peaceful.

Plastic swings and Metal slide were not my favorite but the kids loved playing here.

I grew up over here and havent been back since the old slide was still there that I used to slide down when I was a kid it was so cool to see that was still there the woods are pretty cool too

Clean and close by to share time with loved ones

Love the wild life you see and the various activities.Wish more people would show up for Pokemon Raids.

6 pickleball courts!

We saw some deers and we thought they were gonna kill us they kept looking at us while taking seflies we were super spooked but all in good fun

A place were you can play tennis, a place for children to enjoy a playground area, a place to grill. Nicely surrounded by trees and even an opportunity to see a deer once in awhile.

Good parking, amenities and the best outdoor Pickleball courts in the Fox Cities.

Whatch out for dirty needles and condoms

What the hell. Why is this on nature preserves? Its right next to a ghetto appartment complex where everyone is blasting music. Its loud. Its littered. Its not even a nature preserve, so dont waste your time.
