This place is great! So lucky to have a well-organized comedy showcase where we live. We saw Tina Giorgi when she was in town and she was excellent. Weve already been keeping up with the schedule for future shows - well definitely be returning. Some complained about the food/drinks, but I thought the service was fine. The food/drinks were also much less expensive than I anticipated. We had 4 drinks among our group and I think it was under $20 with the tip.

A night of comedy is a great night out. The staff is wonderful, and they host some hilarious comics. We go a few shows a year, and always have a great time.

This place is always a good time! I always love going here when you want something to do during a weekend to change things up. Service is always fast and friendly. You may need a jacket for the bathroom in the winter months though

Had a GREAT time! Cozy atmosphere...or tight quarters...how ever you want to say it. We were glad we read the reviews about the service. I wont say bad but was a little slow. Ordered a pitcher of beer and one margarita early and was there just before showtime. Held us perfectly through the show. MC was great! Talent was very good to exceptional. Our seats were fantastic...a little left of center stage just behind the tables. Could almost shake hands with performer! And only $12/seat. Liked the reserved seating as well. The decor? Lol. Who cares! A little dust probably due to construction but I think it enhanced the experience! DEFINITELY would recommend! Loads of fun for cheap.

Been here 10+ times over 10 years and always a great time. Love introducing friends to this venue, they always have fun laughing here.

Awesome customer support by Alisa! I called and scheduled a birthday celebratory comedy show for my friend and she was quite helpful in assisting with the overall process. The birthday falls on 1/31 but she was kind enough to allow a complimentary Saturday showing on 2/1 instead. Thank you!

Awesome night! The headliner was a guy from the last comic standing. We laughed so hard I couldnt catch my breath. Great job guys!

The show was great and ticket price was extremely reasonable. Had good service from the waitress during the show. It seems to be currently under renovation when I when early Feb 2020, so the environment itself was subpar but guessing it will improve once they finish.

Went there for a company party and had a good time. They had servers that were taking drink orders during the show, and had a series of funny comics take the stage. Nice place to attend with a group of people looking for some good laughs.Go check em out!

Always have a good time here. The tickets are cheap, and you can order drinks during the show. Its very low key and a great place for a casual night out. They have a good variety of comedians from across the country, and there isnt a bad seat in the house.

For the price, this venue is great for a night filled with laughter. The comedians are not always the best, but the low ticket price makes up for it. I’d recommend ordering more than one drink at a time, as the waitstaff is stretched fairly thin and you may only get one chance to order. Arrive early or order your tickets online for best seating. The environment is a tad drab as the club is in the basement of a building undergoing renovation. Expect to be cramped for space as they pack as many people as they can.

Great show , new location is much better .If your looking for something not to costly book and go !!Service was good as you can expect. Id just order the pitcher or get more than one when u order.The popcorn is unlimited to the point if u can get a waitress theyll refill.All in all 5 star !!!!

Had a great night here when Rob Little was showcasing, he was SO funny! I would definitely come back to see him again, though the drink & food service/ordering was pretty slow and it wasnt even a full house.

Joe Devito was amazing! The other two warm up acts were entertaining. Did not disappoint.

Great shows for an excellent price. Perfect for a fun but chill date night. Decor could use an update, but really 99% of the time youre laughing and watching the stage.

My favorite Comedy Club to attend locally not just for proximity but the quality of comedians they draw in. The comedy Rumble is another excellent option when seeking alternatives to headliner comedians.

Always a good time! Its a small venue and thus gives one a more intimate feel! Seems as though they always have great comedians! The wait staff never disappoints and always keeps the drinks coming. Also a great location... Many of other things to do in the area after the show! I love this place!

Came for the Hari Kondabolu show which was way better than I was expecting. Seating was super easy. We had a great view. Service can be tough given how tight the space can be but we were well taken care of. Will definitely check out future shows to come again.

Staff was extremely accommodating for a surprise birthday party. Comedians were great.

Went on 12-07-19. Thought the entertainment itself was very good. Went to the 730 show. The seating arrangement was absolutely horrible, they had you crammed in so tight I felt like I was at a U of M game. The service itself as far as waitress was fine, we just had to wait a very long time for a drink. We had asked the waitress if she had forgotten our drink order because it had taken so long , she had apologized and said that the bar was really backed up. So from my standpoint I was not relaxed, I couldn’t relax because it was elbows to elbows and the table we had literally was not much larger than a serving plate so I could not even really rest my hands on the table. It was not a good or comfortable experience there.It was the first time that we’ve been there and I doubt very much we would go back.

Love this place. Well worth hour drive everytime we go.

Entertainment was good! That might be the only good thing I have to say. Was there before 80% of people to get an ok seat and I was sat up against the wall. Took 45 min to get a beer and that was they only drink I was offered for over 2 hours. Staff did not seem to care and stated that there was one bartender for the whole room of 100 people. Not sure what business model management thought up but if your going to make money off selling alcohol and food it would be best to actually get those things to your customers.

Great place for affordable weekly entertainment. Seating is a little tight, so be sure to arrive early before the show starts. I also like that they have servers that come around to you personally for drinks and snacks. Their unlimited popcorn is awesome!

This place is huge for me, this was the first place I went and saw stand up for the first time. Went for a date (which to this day was the best date I had ever been on) and saw one of my favorite comedians Matt Braunger. Later got to see Jeff Tate and was supposed to see Doug Benson one time. Always was a great time and never had issues with drunks or rowdy crowds really. Wish it was bigger but has that comedy club feel and the low ceiling. Hope to stop by again soon.

Had an awesome first time experience since your new location opened with my bf. I had major surgery and have been recovering. It literally hurts 2 laugh! Lol. Im excited 2 get through the healing process and cant wait 2 return to see the new renovation completed of the new location. We tell a lot of people about our experiences.

The comedy itself is typically on point. The local talent that opens is more often great than sub par and the headliners are pretty well renowned. The service is always exceptional and the venue itself, being underground, is a great atmosphere.

Its was lame. I have no idea why the call it a comedy club the only one guy out of four was funny. The place is a dump. Over priced and over charged me for drinks. Only serves stale popcorn and nuts, seriously? Pass, dont bother.

Always enjoy the show. The wait staff is quick and attentive. We generally go every 4-6 weeks. We were not aware of the time change of the shows, so we were late this last week, but still a fun show.

Saw Andrew Schulz perform live here. At the time, there was construction, no elevator, and parking in Ann Arbor is generally annoying. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the show was lit! More stars if they had a sign and handicap accessibility.

We thought we had tickets for the Saturday night show but when our tickets were scanned they were actually for the night before. The gentleman at the ticket office knew who we were when we came back up as he had tried to call us. He was able to honor our tickets. GREAT customer service! We will be back! Thank you so much!!!

Great place for comedy. Saw Gary Gulman... hilarious. In the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, MI so makes for a great night out for dinner and a show.

Despite the entrance that is forever under construction, this place is open every weekend. Its located in the basement of the building down some stairs or an elevator. Theres plenty of seating and few bad seats in the house, although its a bit more cramped than Id prefer. Beer selection is not great but they do have Two Hearted.

Great atmosphere, it has a very personal feel to it. They have lots of great talent coming through there. Definitely have dinner somewhere else before your show.

Came for the show on Valentines Day, everyone on stage was great. The host, the opener, and Tacey Smith. I would recommend this for any date night.

Hilarious comedians take the stage in this basement lounge that is both intimate and spacious. There are snacks and drinks served at a fair price and the servers are great about being attentive without interrupting your experience. Be sure to fill out your comment card so your name can be drawn at the end of the night for free tickets!

Love this place. Small intimate setting, cheap, and the comedians are almost always great. The only reason I removed one start is the slower service for drinks.

My husband and I have been several times for shows. Weve seen some really funny comedians, and one I wish that I could forget (he was awful!). The club itself is in a basement (so it gets pretty dark), and its been under construction for some time now. All that said, the staff is great, the shows are usually very funny, and my husband always has a great time when we go

This is a cool spot in Ann Arbor that I dont think a lot of students know about. There is a drink minimum but I forget what that minimum is. Their menu also offered unlimited popcorn, but you just have to keep asking for it as our server was not the most attentive. However, I came here for the comic and not the food and drinks and the main comedian (Stewart Huff) was HILARIOUS! I had a really good laugh and a really good night and my girlfriend and I both thoroughly enjoyed our time here. This is a great place for students to go on a Friday night for a different scene than just going to bars or parties and just getting drunk.

The comedy was fun, but it was really hard to get past the overwhelming smell of cat urine. What was up with the Christmas music in the middle of the summer?

Great space in a beautiful part of Ann Arbor. Not a cattle call experience, had café tables with waiters and plenty of legroom.

Neat little venue, and for the price of admission the comedians were pretty good. Worth a night out on a Friday or Saturday for sure. I would definitely recommend coming here, but stay away from their mixed drinks and stick with beer.

Ive actually been here more than a few times and everytime I go its the same experience with the service....Im not sure if theres a true answer to their problem because there are so many people that come and sit all at virtually the same time but its really unfortunate when your night out only includes one cocktail simply because the waiter wasnt anywhere to be seen.....their lineups of comedians have always been funny!!!! Just wish there was a better way to take care of all the spectators in a timely fashion

This club has recently moved but has been a local staple for years. Have seen many great acts here as well as their previous location. Staff is always dedicated to making sure you enjoy your night out, and the manager is a comedy veteran who has no problem dealing with unruly patrons. Authentic stand-up and Ann Arbor experience, with fairly priced drinks and snacks and unlimited popcorn.

I have been here over 15 times. Service gets worse and worse every time. Im going to start to bring my own drinks and can of laughs. A2 comedy your time is very limited. A monkey with a bar can do better. I wont ever be back.

Funny for the most part, but I didnt care for the religious attempts at comedy, or how VERY LIBERAL ONLY the jokes were. I realize Im in the Mecca of Libtardville, but I thought that meant everyones opinion matters? Guess not. Funny for the most part, like I stated earlier.
