This is a great historical society/museum. The people who volunteer are extremely nice and more than helpful. They are very knowledgeable of the area and a lot of the history that has come to make Shasta county the amazing county that it is. If you are interested in history or like museums take a little bit of time and stop in and say hello.

The historical society is run by a very nice group of volunteers. they happily spend a bunch of their time to show us the societys collection and the gardens behind the buildings.

Knowledgeable staff, and great local history! The schoolhouse is a treat. If you have a chance to get in and see this fantastic museum, we would encourage you greatly to come see!
