Loved this winery. Yesterday it was our first time trying all the different wines and we were very happy we finally made it. The service is excellent and they have a wide variety of wines for all. We ended up buying a batch (24-26 bottle ) of the wine that we enjoyed the most. If you get a tasting , you get to try 6 different wines and the tables are big so you can go with friends and bring snacks.We will definitely be back!

A perfect place to go hang out with a few friends and taste some amazing wines! We have been frequenting this winery for a few years now and always have had the best service ever. The owners and staff have been nothing but super friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend not only the winery; but also the variety of wines. They have something for everyone.

Alaska Denali winery is one of my favorite places to be when I am free. When I step foot into the winery, I feel as if I am walking in the owners living room. The owners of the business are the sweetest and most kindest people you will ever meet. Ive known the owners for the past 19 years. I cant wait to continue going here in the future. I have been doing business with Alaska Denali Winery since 2011. I have always received great friendly service and good wines at a good price. It is always great fun to go there, taste my new wine with friends and then bottle it. The only people that I have ever encountered who write bad reviews of this business are those who want to use, abuse and take advantage of the service. In my opinion the business is better off without those kinds of people in their establishment.

We only tasted the fruit wines because all of the whites are dry. Very low alcohol content and not that great. The tasting pours were generous though.

The wine is amazing, and the atmosphere is lovely. Both times I have visited I have been met with friendly and knowledgeable service! Such a neat place I look forward to visiting again and again!

I love this place. I was introduced to making wine here through a friend. We have now made 5 batches of wine and had a great experience each time we do a bottling. The staff and the owners are knowledgeable and friendly. We have bottled with groups as large as 8 and as few as 3 each time the bottling station is set up and prepared the staff offers to do a run through should we need to for how the process works.The staff offers suggestions when needed and tasting suggestions if you are unsure of what you want to bottle. I am very excited about their move to a new location coming this summer and i encourage any wine lovers or groups looking for a fun evening to try this out. Heck even if you just want to stop by and do a tasting and not bottle this would be the choice to make.

Wow, who knew?!Our kids invited us to meet them at Denali Winery last night, a place we had never been. DW does not serve food, but they welcome you to bring your own to accompany their wines. The kids brought some scrumptious Mooses Tooth pizza, but we had failed to think of plates and utensils! What to do? Well, we mentioned it to Mike, the owner, and he graciously accommodated us by showing up with plates and utensils and napkins! Rockin!!We tasted quite a few wines, mainly from the ultra-premium selection, and we were totally surprised. We like wine. As in, we LIKE wine, lol. As in we spend money on wine, lol. When we travel, we visits wineries and the like, and have largely found that wines in many states lack goodness. Is that a nice way of saying it? I think so.Anyway, the business model that Mike and Cathy was totally new to us. I wont describe it here -- go and find out! Its fun! The wines are produced in-house at Denali Winery, not from berries and other stuff but from quality grapes, and they were surprisingly good :)) They lack the maturity and the depth of your standard good wines, but the taste was great. We ended up tasting quite a few, buying a bottle, and then ordering a kit or batch.Great atmosphere, great service, great wine for Alaska, and were looking forward now to stopping in every so often for bottle and a nice time.Sorry for no pics -- we were so totally taken in with the activity that I didnt think of it!!Go, youll enjoy yourself and enjoy their wine :))

Great little place, great customer service, owners are nice, if you like wine, this is the place. Bring your own food, they welcome it.

This place and these people ALWAYS make you feel like family! Been going since 2011 also. The wine is great. The service is Great!. If you are looking for a nice fun relaxing, classy, down to earth environment this is the place. If you are looking for a dump that you can treat like your basement This isnt the place. If you have never been there it is a great place for girls night out, romantic night for a couple, or a great place to meet and have a party. Some people need to understand there are restrictions and rules that the STATE Alcohol board puts on these establishments! Dont listen to one bad apple get over there and see and Taste for yourself.

What happened to this place. It used to be fun. The new owners are rude and very judgemental. I have spent thousands of dollars here, but I will not drop another dime in this hole.

Great wines, great selection, great service...wine making and wine bottling parties are a great way to get together with friends, sample different wines, eat your favorite foods and enjoy yourself in a comfortable setting.

Would have given them no stars if I could have. Is the wine good? Yes its great and a lot of variety. Is the service good? Absolutely not! We had a group of girls that got together to go taste wine, we ALWAYS and let me reiterate ALWAYS buy bottles AFTER our flight tasting. You have to try the wine and find out what you like before buying a bottle right?! For a group of professional working women, we have NEVER been so humiliated and treated the way we were treated tonight. We have come here as a group several times, always did atleast the 6 taster flight and left with several bottles of wine each. Tonight I was an hour late joining the group. I personally was there for 1.5 hours and in the first 30 mins I got my 2 tasters then our waiter disappeared. There were 6 of us and about 1/2 of our group only got 2 tasters and the waiter never came back. At 858pm an older gentleman whom I believe is maybe the owner approached us and said the time limit was 2 hours (we had been there 2.5 hours already), that they were closing at 9pm (website says 10pm) and asked if we were going to buy a bottle of wine or what? And mibd you there was still another table there drinking and he never mentioned anything to them. We all looked at each other confused. Several of us informed the gentleman that our waiter disappeared and we had been waiting almost an hour for him to return so we could try another wine and finish our flight. The waiter would not let us pick all 6 at once and bring them at once, he told us we had to do them 1 at a time. But if your waiter disappears and there seems to be no other workers in eyesight to get their attention to get service then how can you complete a wine flight of 6 tastings??? We then proceeded to pack up our stuff at which point the gentleman said something to one of the ladies who then told him that he made us feel so uncomfortable that we were leaving. He then told us we were taking advantage of him. How is that possible? All 6 of us ordered a wine flight of 6 tasting and several of us only got 2 tastings after 2.5 hours of being there. I work with people daily and sometimes Im faced with clients who scream at me. I never in my 20+years of working with people have ever talked to someone the way this gentleman talked to all of us. It is deplorable and seriously left all of us sick to our stomach. I wanted to pay the $350.00+ for the entire barrel (not sure what they call it on their menu) of the Icewine so I could take it to the family in the lower 48 next month. Not now, he lost my business forever. We frequent this place quite often also. We will NEVER come back again. I would rather pay the $45 per bottle for the imported Icewine at Brown Jug then to support the most disrespectful business owner I have ever encountered. Buyer beware. If you dont make it known that you are buying a bottle of wine apparently they will kick you out of the place. Im completely speechless!!!
