This is a pretty park with a rock riverbed that has a few wooden bridges. There are two basball diamonds and a childrens playground. This park also attaches not only to an Elementary school, but also a library! How neat.Lots of trees, a few benches, and giant yard of grass. The riverbed was empty, so though the map says creek it is more of a bed waiting for water. I mean, LA... what water? Right?Anyway, it was nice. Fully recommend heading over to walk.Oh, so yeah there are two bathroom houses; one in the middle of the park was locked today, the other open near the baseball diamond. Yes, there is parking on both streets.

This park needs to be cleaned. Please. With covid, and daily use Im afraid it is not being cleaned nearly enough. My neice wanted to go down one of the slides and it had a fully melted ice cream dripping down it. Otherwise, we love it here.

At least there are bathrooms to use and they are cleaned twice a day. Theres lots of shade for the summer. It will have a NEW dog park soon. There is a Library but it does not have wifi available and with Covid-19 it is closed for the public to go in.All and all its a nice park. Enjoy yourself and please clean up before you leave...

Nice park. Plenty of space for many children to run and play. Well maintained toys, slides, and swings. Toddlers and older children can play here. There is also a nice shaded path that you can meander along. And a nice library at the other end of the park.

Maxwell library is nice and the park is great for sports and taking your kids too. However the homeless population and RV/campers in the parking lot has gone up.Its not their fault nor should the cops force them out, as they have no where to go. But this is an issue at almost any larger parks in orange county.Other than that its a beautiful park.

Looks like a great place to stay for free camping. Cops seem a little overzealous to me, but theyre just doing their jobs, I guess...Clean restrooms, lots of space, parking, baseball, running track, trails for walking, dog friendly, I think, there is a great library right across the parking lot from the park.Churches bring food for homeless and other needy folks, and it is pretty comfortable most of the time for families to do the park thing. Great park in the neighborhood if you ask me.

I don’t like this park at all doesn’t feel safe they need to update the play ground and keep homeless people out of that area. They need to take of the graffiti as well. The smell is very unpleasant never again will I come back here.

The only reason why I dont give it 1 star is because the track is really good. Library is adjacent to the park and playground is clean. Nothing against homeless ppl, but I feel like nobody has to hear them arguing and seen them pissing on a tree.update- 11-15-18 I was there during Halloween night and it was nothing like it was before. Total run down and disgusting, families please avoid!**UPDATE***Visited the park recently. It;s much cleaner and good for everyone. Yay!

Maxwell park is a beautiful park with green grass spacious playground at the other end and sits side by side with the Hasket Branch Library. There is lots of refreshing shady spots to park your vehicle while you take a lunch break or have a picnic with that someone special. Keep your eyes on alert for Anaheim Police Dept who makes daily drive byes through the park harrassing the less fortunate community that set up their tents Durning the hot afternoon to try to get some relief from the sweltering temperatures the last few weeks. These people are not parriahs, they are wonderful careing people who havent been able to catch a break in life lately and want only to be able to enjoy the safety and serinity of Maxwell park. Until 50 come cruising through.
