Walked in area of double watershed in a misty rain. We saw swans and other native birds in beaver pond. Trail had puddles but we were in swampy area. Felt great to get outdoors in fresh air. Droplets of rain gave an added beauty to the trees and shrubs.

Gorgeous as always. The trails still have some snow on them, and the lake is frozen. Its just magical out here.

This tiny little lake is so fun! We hiked and played in the water! My kids loved it. Some of the trails were not great for smaller children, but the map near the parking lot tells you what trails are hard and which are easier.

Easy to access park with multiple trails of varying difficulty. Walking sticks are recommended. Map available online with numbered trails and difficulty legend. No restrooms. Many trails have roots and boulders, rustic, not paved.

What an amazing water hole....big, yet quaint enough that not a lot of people know about. Not much parking, we Kayaked, swam and then fell asleep for about 1/2 hour...Great get away for being in town...I love Fidalgo Island, best place to live.

My family and I love the trails around Cranberry Lake. There are many paths to choose from which is nice but also makes it easy to get lost so watch your trail markers carefully. The lake is easy to get to although Alltrails directions to reach the lake are all wrong. From 12th (or Hwy 20) turn onto Hartford Ave, then left onto W 3rd St, right onto Georgia Ave then a right onto Cranberry Lake Rd (youll see ACFL sign) which takes you straight to a large parking lot with access to the lake.

Trails need better signs but beautiful hike. Some areas are steep rocky and slippery. Moderate climb.

I grew up on this lake, hiking up the trail to it. Took the kayaks out today and it was great to paddle to areas I had not seen before.

My favorite lake to take the dog for a swim or simply hike around the lake. Takes me 45 minutes which is a nice little workout. Beautiful views across the lake. A hidden little gem right here on the island

As far as Im concerned, the Anacortes Community Forest Lands are the best thing about living in this town. Little Cranberry Lake is a favorite spot and easily accessible. You can hardly tell youre surrounded by neighborhoods when youre there! The road up to the parking lot could use some work, though... having all wheel drive helps.

Unless you live in the neighborhood, please leave this one alone. There are plenty of touristy lakes like whistle and heart and the like that this one is nice for residents only. Sincerely, everyone who lives nearby.

The lake regularly gets deadly algae blooms but that dosnt stop most people from swimming here. The rest of the forest lands in the park are beautiful and absolutely worth checking out.
