Gardens are a perfect combination of art and plants. Would be beautiful for a wedding or reception. Large play area for children, with a tree house, zip line, and giant Lincoln Log set. There was an amazing amount of learning possibilities. Small selection of raptors with a guide to tell us all about them. Our favorite was the butterfly house. Go check it out.

My family loves to go. We have already been to the holiday lights twice. It is a beautiful evening. Peaceful and fun.

Had a wonderful afternoon trip here a few weeks ago. Quiet, peaceful, but lively with an abundance of flowers, nature and butterflies! Decent prices and great place for a day trip and afternoon with the kids or even a date. We were lucky to catch a viewing of some turtles and look forward to our next visit!

You have got to go! We went for the first time today. My son loved how many butterflies were flying all around him. The Caterpillar exhibit was very neat. You were able to see the Caterpillars coming out of their cocoon and turning into butterflies l. They have snakes, spiders, a few other reptiles. They also have a beautiful McCaw bird! Other exhibits included multiple types a turtles, a bunny, owls, hawks, vultures and a fox! It felt like we were at a zoo! And you cant beat the price of $8 a person!!The tree house and zipline was a blast for the kids. They also really enjoyed the obstacle course. Last but not least the trails and scenery was beautiful!

Awesome place to visit! There are beautiful flowers and fun activities for kids! You can spend hours there, take a picnic and enjoy the day!

We love Beech Creek!! My kids are 12, 9, and 7 love every time we go to Beech Creek. Whether we him the trails, visit the butterflies, or play on the playground!

Very beautiful landscape! The trails are wonderful, The visitor center is nice to visit and the overall atmosphere is very nice.

Excellent for families/kids! I highly suggest this fun nature exploration experience. 3 beautiful trails, scavenger hunt, beautiful gardens, playgrounds, lots of interactive kids activities, animal interaction, visitor center has snacks/drinks, open year round, seasonal events/activities, CLEAN bathrooms with baby changing station! Super friendly staff! We had a GREAT time!!

It was a super experience. Everywhere you looked in the butterfly building there were butterflies. And the caterpillar building was interesting and informative. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I love this place! The butterflies are so amazing. The play ground is awesome one of a kind. It has something for everyone. Zip lines to mud pies you can be a kid again. Lots of cool art to appreciate and so much more.

Very pet friendly. Our dog loved the butterfly’s. Had two grandkids with us 13, 14 and they loved the trails but said they would like them to be better marked with directions arrows. The smell is wonderful with all the flowers blooming. Nice benches all over just to sit and relax and enjoy the birds.

Just held my drive-by graduation party there this past weekend and loved it. Its such a beautiful place with so many things to do!

Loved this place. Can’t wait to come back and hike some of the trails. The butterfly garden was beautiful and the worker lady was super knowledgeable and helpful. Very fun place to take kids. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back in the years to come.

Heavenly place with all the flowers and butterflies! People that work there love their job! Has a great playground, butterfly garden, amazing plants garden and welcome center! Beautiful flowers!! Lots of birds also! I cant wait to go back! September 15th is the butterfly release!

Always a great day at Beech Creek Botanical Gardens. Beautiful butterflies, cute critters, plants and flowers, and play grounds. Plus they have interactive educational stations, my kids absolutely love spending the day there.

Great place for the whole family. They had a free pumpkin painting or carving. They kept the pumpkins which were tagged with your childs name to put out on display. The grandkids had a blast painting and at their play area.

This is a wonderful place to learn and explore. There is a garden house exclusively for hands on learning, where you will find a parrot who may talk to you. The butterfly garden is wonderful, Ive never seen so many butterflies before. The Caterpillar house has more hands on toys and videos to watch butterfly life cycles. There are also two playgrounds on the property, you will want to bring a change of clothes because digging is encouraged at the larger one where the tree house is. You can rent the pavillion for weddings and other parties, it is beautiful. There is also a walking trail that loops the property. It will be muddy if it had been raining.

We had a blast! We came with my daughters girlscout troop and they loved it it. Who am I kidding, so did I!!! We were there for the butterfly release. It was a lot of fun!

I had heard of this place but never really thought about going. My son is really into caterpillars and butterflies and metamorphosis right now so I figured hed like it. This is much more than a butterfly garden. Hes only 3 so we didnt get to do too much of the educational stuff but theres plenty of other things there. The butterflies are definitely amazing for any age. But there are also other animals and a huge playground with a zipline and tree house and ninja course. We spent 4 hours here but could have easily made it much longer if we brought water. The discovery area near the playground is awesome too. My kid loved the mud table. We might have to implement that one at home. This place is very unique and a ton of fun. It far exceeded my expectations and we will definitely be back.

Really beautiful place and a great place to bring family or kids. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the Butterfly release and the Garden. Its a peaceful environment.

Disappointed in the overall experience. Fairly ordinary plants, limited butterfly variety, poor signage. More of a $3 visit instead of $8.

Today was our first time visiting this wonderful place. We loved it! Came specifically for the monarch butterfly release. Amazing! Made great memories with my daughter.

The Nature Playce playground is the best playground in Stark county and possibly in Northeast Ohio. We love the friendly staff! From hiking trails to educational programs, Beech Creek is a great place for the whole family!

Nice place to get away for a little bit

Theme: Bird in Hand - I took my two daughters and we had a great time. We fed the Chickadees and roasted marshmallows. There are several hands on educational stations with crafts and the natural playground is fantastic. We would definitely do it again. $3 a piece but it was worth it.

Great for kids lots to do

Spent a day just my son and I (11 months old at the time).Loved it! The turtles, the birds, the butterflies. Staff was wonderful and gave awesome information. Buildings were clean and easy to maneuver. Lots of things to do and hands on activities for kids of all ages.Huge jungle gym and play area!Will definitely be going back!

My sons school went here for a field trip and it seemed like they all had a blast. I know my son did. All of the workers were so nice and informative

I just love Beech Creek. They added a new play area and more to the log area and my grandchildren are going to love It. I also love watching the caterpillars munch on the leaves. So much to see and do.

This place is a hidden gem in stark county. They need to advertise more. If it werent for Facebook, i would never have heard about it. I went to the butterfly event last year. Didnt hear about 1 this year. Wouldve loved to come back!

Very eclectic and interesting for all ages. Our Elementary school age kids especially enjoyed it. The butterfly House doesnt have those 10-15 butterflies, more like hundreds or more. The science exhibits for kids are also very engaging. There is plenty of shade for the hot summer days. if youre going to go here more than once, I recommend doing the family year package its a much better value.

Extremely nice place to go for a walk, check out butterflies [during the time they have them during the summer] there are also a ton of activities that anyone can enjoy. Also for people looking for eagle scout projects they are probably one of the easiest places to find one for.

So much about this wonderful place my family loves to visit! We love the learning center, the butterfly house, the Heirloom Garden, the Secret Garden, the newer play area, and the hiking trails. We purchased a membership because there is so much to benefit from!!! I purchased tomato plants from the nursery and they are doing fantastic! Couldnt beat the BOGO sale on the tomatoes and they are extremely prolific/thriving! I highly recommend all my friends to check this place out and many have also purchased memberships after visiting.

Terrible they deserve a zero star rating .the worst attempt at chritmas light displays ever. Such a disappointment. Poorly lit trails. Theyre in a desperate need a revamping. Nothing pretty to see at all. Santa is down a dark trail ,its more scary than pleasant. Cant believe they charge people money for such an awful experience. The website is very misleading.

A WONDERFUL place to visit! Especially with kiddos! Come ready to get a little dirty and to have A LOT of fun! The play space towards the back of the gardens is AMAZING ️! The zipline was a big hit, along with the birds nest and super jumbo Lincoln logs! Catching butterflies in the butterfly house was such a neat experience as well, we are all looking forward to our next visit!!!

What a wonderful place to visit nature. A little pricey for a large group but if you take your time its well worth it. Younger kids might not appreciate all the viewable nature, well suited for ages 4+

Wonderful place to bring the kids.

1st there with my 5 year old grandson on Critter Tuesday. We were at the 11 a.m. animal presentation. In 1 hour only 4 turtles were shown to the children. Beech Creek animal expert was the presenter and while probably very knowledgeable, she kept preaching how one should never take home a turtle and try to raise the animal. Very repetitions. Several adults remarked that she was a horrible presenter. Children were not engaged. My grandson was totally bored and asked to leave. Luckily the butterfly house and playgrounds made the visit worthwhile.

Everything was satisfactory except the parking. I got there early and barely found a place to park.

I went here to volunteer for United way day of caring. There were several field trips there as well, with small children. Theres plenty to keep them busy and interested. The butterflies will be there starting June 10th. They arent there yet. It would definitely be a good place to take your family for the day.

Just nice and tucked away in a quiet place. Never knew it was there. It was lovely.

I attended a Brownie Scout event with my youngest grandchild. Great experience. Family could spend an entire day at this wonderful place.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience. We took our son here to experience the paths and the Butterfly house. There was so much more than that though. Take a day off and head out there to take in the sights and sounds. Also they use Pigskin Pals (2018) which got us in for a fantastic price. The gift shop is really cute as well. We will definitely return.

Incredible outdoor adventure for kids!!! Educational, hands-on (mostly), and interesting to all ages. Plenty of things for energetic children to climb and play on and the landscape is beautiful. WEAR PLAY CLOTHES and shoes. Superb value too!!If you have a baby, I recommend wearing your baby or being prepared to carry him/her, as some areas are a bit tight for anything larger than an umbrella stroller. I brought a jogging stroller but left it outside in some places (caterpillar nursery, train area) and carried my baby in. My 4-year-old did not get worn out walking and there are plenty of benches to rest on throughout the place.The staff was wonderful. They are prepared for children to act like children! It is so refreshing when the staff at these type of child-oriented places seem to be content in what theyre doing.

I took my 3 and 5 year Olds to the butterfly release for the first time and we all had a great time! We definitely will be back.

Went here with a few friends for one friends birthday and it was so much fun! Butterflies were landing all over my friends kid. It was funny! Getting fresh air and checking out beautiful flowers, butterflies, and more was the perfect day!!!
