Interesting to walk around and see all the old photos, medals, trophies of past winners. Also like looking at collections of cat teapots, cookie jars, statues and pictures.

All cat lovers absolutely positively must visit this museum

Didnt actually get to visit. Just wanted to let everyone know they are closed until Feb 1st which isnt mentioned on their website or anywhere, only on a paper sign on their door. Would have been nice to know beforehand.

A fun and educational trip. Lovely cat exhibits. Wonderful! If you have children be sure to go upstairs and check out the childrens library!

This place was wonderful!!! Nicely put together, clean, plus pleasant & knowledgeable staff. Honestly it took me a good half an hour to chill out because, I brought my 1.5 yr old. Luckily they had a childrens library/center, which for me as a mom to an extremely curious and rambunctious toddler, is a present from God. Lol All in all, this was right up my alley. I love how they had certain items for sale. But I especially loved the items dated back to the early 1900s. I just have a thing for vintage items. My parents have shown their cats for some time. So to learn some of the things they use to have to do back in the way day to show these cats, is very interesting. Not to mention they had a cat house/tree by Frank Lloyd Wright, which happens to be my husbands favorite architect.

Very interesting place to check out for yourself. I wouldnt take small children here there is so many breakable items..

If you love cats this is a great place to go. I just wish they had a live cat to see. I understand they do have them from time to time but its a good history lesson about cats and they Japanese cat display is very nice.

I wouldnt really call this a historical museum, but I did enjoy the displays. They are working on a room devoted to the Abyssinians that looks like it will be interesting. They have a lot of room for growth, so it will be interesting to visit in a few years to see that growth. Lots of information on the evolution of cat shows (so there is a historical aspect).

A friend and I drove 2 hours and 11 mins from Columbus to go to the museum. It was my friends birthday and she picked this museum. I knew in advance it was going to be small but I wasnt prepared for the lack of history. If you are into cat figurines that you can still find at retail and thrift stores, you will like it. For a 2 hour drive, it was pretty disappointing. The lady who worked there wasnt the usual curator but she was very friendly. I am disappointed mainly because this could have been so much more than what it is.

Not that much to see but it’s free and they’re friendly. Pair with a trip to the Troll Hole next door for a great museum adventure.
