Great little museum. I went to see Pip the Mouse, but there is always something going on at the museum. There are many souvenirs for purchase at good prices.

The museum is small but the history lesson there from the museum keeper was incredible. Also you will be able to touch one of the actual liberty bells made by the french.

A small museum to honor hiding the Liberty Bell from the British. When the British occupied Philadelphia they wanted to melt the bells down for bullets. Thankfully they got all the bells out. While the church that the bell was hidden in doesnt exist anymore this church is on the exact spot. It consists of two rooms. The first room is a gift shop and exhibits unrelated to the bell. During our visit it was about immigration. The second room has a replica of the bell that you can. Caution the clapper is very heavy and you only tap it against the side. The worker helped us ring it. There was also a copy of the Declaration of Independence with a desk as well as a replica of a a wagon used to transport the bell. There were also Revolution weapons and house hold items. The worker gave a great presentation of the timeline of the bells time in Allentown and other American Revolution facts. We were allowed to stay past four because he was still talking.

Small museum with specific subject matter. The museum guide Stephanie is terrific. Needs better graphics and art work. 30 to 45 minutes adequate for a visit. Cheap entrance fee and good story to tell.

Though the website, the phone message, and the outside signs said it was open... it was closed. The woman inside... a church member... was quite rude. The day was freezing... literally... but she was angry that we found an unlocked door and refused to let us even warm up. We traveled 4 hours to NOT see the museum and to be treated in such a manner.

The museum is well worth seeing. The only detractor is the outrages cost of metered parking outaide and the fact you can only purchase 30 minutes of time total. This is not enough time to complete the tour and you end up having to go feed the meter more times than youd like.

Great unexpected place on 4th of July to celebrate Independence Day. Model replica of the actual Liberty Bell, housed in Philadelphia. The real bell was hidden here during colonial times to keep it from being captured by the British and melted down to make cannons.

I thought that it would be nothing but the experience was awsome. The tour was very well explained my son is 7 years old and he was so exited to learn the history and he wanted to purchase alot of things in there. The explanation of the liberty bell was so interesting. I would definitely go back, that would help my son with history.
