This is a fun little wooden coaster and Im glad its still around. Not too rough, looks nice, and has decent airtime and laterals. Id give it 5 stars if it werent for the trim brakes at the end that take away speed for the last bunny hills. Still a good time and worth a ride.

I love it because its a classic. Do I ride it every time I go to Dorney Park? No I do not. Unfortunately it is a little rough but as to be expected. How would you feel at this age? I do make it a point to ride it every now and then though. Cant beat a classic. Follow my adventures on YouTube/RSP58 :)

As far as wooden roller coasters go this one was a thrilling ride but because of the individual lap belts for each rider and also padded lap bar the locks in place you feel secure in your seat. I feel its a good roller coaster for someone whos just starting to try riding roller coasters. Being wooden there are no loops and unlike many wooden coasters you are not thrown around very much. Yet it still deliveres the thrill you look for when riding a roller coaster.

It was my first real rollercoaster I’ve been on and I loved it. Although some parts of the ride was rough, it was a great coaster.

When you take into consideration that this coaster was originally opened up in 1923 you appreciate what an amazing ride this is. Just the fact that its still in operation is a true testiment of its engineering and up keep.

I have ridden it 7-8 times, and people do say that its rough, but being nearly 100, it always gives a great ride! If you like wooden coasters/want to start small on coasters, this is a great coaster to do!

Thunderhawk is a great classic wooden roller coaster. For being almost 100 years old, it is in great condition and decently smooth. It is a fun ride but not overly intense, and probably suitable for most people of a young age.

Decent ride but broke down just at the start of it. They fixed it within minutes so I got to enjoy it and gave us free fast passes for our worries.

This is an impressive, over 90 year-old, wooden coaster that continues to withstand the test of time. My family always enjoys each ride and it never disappoints!

I dont personal like it. Most wooden roller coasters arent very smooth. If you have any accessories like glasses, it would not be a smooth ride.

Steel force is for heights, Thunder hawk is for intensity and a rickety ride. Take the back seat.

I have ridden Thunderhawk with the old trains and the new trains that arrived this year. So I think I have a good idea about the two experiences. I thought with the old trains it wasnt good, but not terrible. So when I heard ghat they were getting the new trains, I was excited. They may turn this ok ride into a great ride. So I recently hopped on this ride again, hoping for better. However what I got, was not expected. The ride was worse. With the new trains, it is really cramped and you dont have much space to move around. Therefore when the train would go over some really rough parts, it would slam our bodies against the restraints, or the sides of the trains. At least with the old trains you had room to move around, but now its cramped and you barely have any space. It doesnt help that the ride is very rough. However I should cut it some slack, seeing how it is one of the oldest coasters still standing. Over all I didnt like Thunderhawk. Its old, busted, and it really beat me up by the end of it. I can say that this is a ride that you can definitely skip.

I personally enjoyed this ride! Im surprised that I could enjoy a coaster that was built in 1923! Its not the smoothest wooden coaster in the world, but it still provides a lot of thrills. The only reason why some people hate this ride is because they get headaches, but if you lean your head forward, you wont have a problem. It only shakes you on the turns, but otherwise, I recommend you ride this before they take it down! After all, it is a piece of history.
