Quite ,serene, beautiful. Gorgeous sun sets. As well as having a great spot for fishing. Has one boat launch there just make sure you clean your boat off. As it nears towards dark the wind cast across the water keeping you cool if you want to fish at night.

Love this park. Great walking trails. Lots to do.

Still in awe of experience at the raptor center this past Saturday! A must visit for all ages. Wonderful educational facility with knowledgeable volunteers and workers and up close look at beautiful Raptors.

Great place to spend a day or the weekend. Tons of great wild life and and enjoyable breezes coming in off Lake Lavon.

Great designated beach. Its an open area so not many trees and such by the beach.

More than the boat ramp gets closed down. The whole entire parking lot is closed. This means you cant kayak, bird watch, hike on the shore, pick up trash or anything else at the park beyond the gate.

It was absolutely beautiful... so relaxing. .

This part of the park is for the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center in Lucas Texas, they rehabilitate injured birds in a positive and healthy environment and also educate the public at the same time. They have monthly programs availibal. See their facebook and website for more details. A real dedicated and professional group that are doing a lot of good.
