The man at the service desk was very rude. Iv never been to this park & couldnt believe how the customer service is.

They conduct juries art show for kids in general and gives small prizes whoever wins. Its very unfortunate that they selects the art pieces depending on names. Anybody can easily see how they distinguish kids if they watch their art shows. Extremely unethical people whoever manages their art shows.

Enjoy this place, work out there regularly, park is great, playground for kids, 2 ponds one with fishing and veteran memorial. People are great too.

I plan to look for another gym soon. The staff there is not friendly at all. Whenever I scan my card at the front desk the people working there look at me weird or totally ignore me because I am Indian. There was a nice Black lady who used to work there that was from Colorado. She would always smile and say hello to me. I wonder what happened to her. The gym is getting increasingly overcrowded at all hours due to it being small and all the new people that are joining. The equipment is poorly spaced apart and there is hardly any room for me to put my keys/card. This gym also needs a better variety of equipment. I dont like how most of the people there are high school kids or family oriented.

Great place for the price that you pay. $55 for a year is amazing.

Good place to run indoors on a small track in the winter time.

A good selection of machines, if not numerous and gym floors.

Clean, great exercise equipment, and a huge hottub. I always end my workouts with a water slide ride. Lockers rooms smell like chlorine and not body odor.

Staff is great. basketball court during 4:30-7 is packed with kids so you cant really play. Gym is a bit small but it will do the trick!

Great place to walk, sit, relax, picnic, view ducks and listen to free concerts every Monday evening in the summertime.

Love this park has so many amenities. Fishing in 4 ponds, covered picnic areas that you can reserve and disc golf course. My kids approve of the playground also. LOL

Good pickup volleyball on Wednesdays.

All great equipment. Hammer strength life fitness. Clean facilities with racquetball court, basketball court, and indoor track. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Low rates for allenites. $15 a month.

I love this place. I have been coming here since we moved to Texas a couple of years ago. The gym has excellent equipment and the running/walking indoor track is great. When the weather is nice I like to take my dogs for walks around the lakes. A very peaceful place!

Sooo be prepared for the Sunday night lady to turn off TVs and shoo you out of the gym early. Yeah I know the gym closes at 6 .... especially when the cell phone running off of the National Nuclear Clock standard says 5:55 !!!Irritating !!! Close the gym at 6, and shut the heck up !!!EDIT : Yep. Tvs off at 5:47pm .... every light off at 5:58pm .... again. Evidently ... city of Allen just dont give a f#@%.DO NOT TRY TO PUSH THE CLOCK ON A SUNDAY WORKOUT HERE.Every employee in the place, are in the parking lot, going to their cars at 6:02pm.

Joe Farmer is a great family place and well worth the cost. The staff is always helpful and kind. You get access to a fitness center, an indoor track to walk, game room, gymnasium and racquetball / handball courts.

First visit and my daughter and I found both staff and visitors very friendly. Lots to do and the place had a truly ìnviting vibe. My lo confidence climed from shy to try...everything! Good for us the facility had a plethera of sporting goods and people welcoming us to explore and simply have a Good time! Nice building and pond outside too!

You get what you pay for! Worst customer service from their desk to their horrendous Camp Star. My son was denied snacks and got sick, had to go to the doctor. Then they try to blame your kid. They lose your paperwork, the counselor karate kid and supervisor Laura are so rude that I would not want my child there cared for by them. Be warned that they discriminate against people based on color of skin. They try to say look we even hire black people.

#Rec Cheap and a great place

Great place to get or stay healthy. Clean weight room with diverse equipment. Its not crowded and can accommodate all but powerlifters. And its only $50ish for a year!!

Best experience ever! Went to the Step up to health event. Enjoyed a lawn seating live entertainment by the featured band, All Funk Radio Show. Entered for a prize drawing and won a bag full of goodies. Thank you Daniel! Ill be back to check out the facility.

This would be a great place to workout if they would fix the equipment...its small and they only have 3 treadmill s and there is sleays a race to get on...you can only get on for 30 mins. The men act like big sissy babies if they come in and you are on the treadmill...boo hiss you definitely pay for what you get...its worth it to pay for a real gym membership !

I rented a room here for a shower and I am amazed. I had to set up all my own tables and chairs. I had to take out the trash. I had to vacuum the room. For 2 hours of rental time I paid more than 200 bucks and think this stuff should be included. It smells like a stinky gym room and will never use this place for a room rental ever again. The room had a good view of Bethany lake and had plugs and a sink so thats why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Been going here to use the fitness room for about 11 years now. Cant complain, really. The price for Allen residents is really good and they have a decent variety of stuff. Free weights, machines and cardio equipment . The hours are good for morning and evening people. My only complaint is the weight room is a bit cramped. If they would use one of the upstairs rooms for cardio equipment and dedicate the current room downstairs to weights it would be awesome. Then they could have more machines for the cardio bunnies and more room for knuckle draggers like me to pick up heavy stuff and put it down again.

Excellent membership prices, especially for residents. Been playing volleyball there for 15 years!!
