We really enjoyed our time visiting this park. There was a nice long walking trail and a place to feed the ducks. I would suggest bring some bread to feed them, they will love that. When we visit a family bought 10 bags of bread to feed them. It is a nice activity for kids and toddlers. There are benches to sit on and we had a picnic there too. Very beautiful views!

We had a lovely visit this time. It wasnt crowded and a lot of people are just having fun. Biking, running, walking, playing soccer and everything in between. The view is just perfect and the planes overhead add a cool vibe. We enjoyed a fresh pizza and a grand coffee all from a walking distance to the park.

Great park to take your pets and just walk around with your better half. The waterfront is always enjoyable to just watch the boats go by especially on a clear day or you can fly a kite or have a family picnic.Today we played with our remote control cars and walked the pup around the waterfront.

Benches, lawns and winding trail along the river. Wildlife includes ducks, geese, turtles, herons, eagles and cormorants. A pleasant place to spend a few minutes or a whole afternoon. Planes to and from Reagan add another dimension to the experience. Water taxi from the nearby Alexandria dock takes you across to the National Harbor.

This bustling city setting might be considered a large end pocket park, although it is one of many connecting smaller parks strung out along the Alexandria waterfront. It offers many benches to enjoy views of the Potomac. Old town Alexandria is notably dog friendly with many local merchants openly welcoming leashed canine visitors into their establishments along with complimentary dog treats or water stops. So the park area nearby is like a giant playground for pups and their owners to mingle with other dog walkers, if they choose to.
