The theater was beautiful and well maintained. The parking structure is a nightmare though. The exit is not well marked, and the entrance is enter only. Basically, you have to go down to the bottom level to exit, but that information is not posted anywhere - which in my experience, resulted in cars lining up to exit via the entrance, which was blocked by a police car to keep people from exiting.

Very nice concert hall that can fit up to 700 or so people.

The concert hall was great. Good sound and seats are easy to see the stage. Parking and exiting the parking garage is not easy. Bring your patience for afterwards.

Excellent sound facility, magificant interior,Good mood. It is located inside NVCC. If you are trying to watching some concerts at this hall, you might have to go park your car at B lot or a metered parking. Highly recommended

Wonderful concert by the US Army Band! Acoustics were perfect. Sound was rich and warm, the band was flawless as usual. There could be more leg room in seating. Nevertheless, as these kinds of venues go, not bad at all! Will definitely return to enjoy other programs!

This is a nice concert hall. They sometimes have good concerts here. Not very many people seem to know about this place, but it is conveniently located in the Virginia suburbs and there is adequate parking available

Saw the harmonizers--awesome and exciting. the hall needs a better design to handle people traffic flow; its too crowded.

Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center has been home to Miss Earth United States national competition for three years. Stephen is incredibly flexible, responsive, and knowledgeable. He is very personable and easy to work with. Stephen, Nathan and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating and worked hard to make our event a success. The theater it’s self has several great upgrades including the concession stand and new carpet. I can’t say enough great things about this venue or the staff. I highly recommend them for your next event.

Beautiful concert hall with comfortable seating and a spacious parking garage. The sound quality is also really nice.

NOVA built and maintains a fine venue for stage presentations.

The box seats have more leg room but sight lines to the stage can be impeded by the safety rails. Not crazy about being off of Seminary Rd, but depending on the time of day and the day itself, traffic can be tolerated

Went to a concert of the Virginia Grand Military Band. Wonderful!!!

Sang in a choral concert there. Free parking. Good dressing room, facilities. I have never been in the audience there.

Excellent venue. We were able to enjoy the United States Air Force Orchestra and select well qualified College musicians.

The space is definitely set up for accoustics and not maximum seating or comfort. There is an upstairs overflow/balcony area. The performance space is definitely smaller than the outside would make you think. Otherwise it is clean and well maintained, the building is easy to spot from the campus road but not easy to spot from Beauregard street. Parking is atrocious, the garage is too small with not nearly enough spaces, arrive early if you want a spot.

AiThis facility is an absolute jewel, as far as venues go, in Northern Virginia, and the D.C. area. I highly recommend it to both concert promoters, and audiences, alike.

The auditorium at Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus. This theater has about 600 seats and Ive seen dance and music here. A lot of lobby display space with too much space. Easy parking in the student structure along Beauregard. Good enough soundAlexandria Symphony plays here

Would give it five stars except the microphones couldnt carry the singers (or maybe the band was too loud?) and cool air blowing directly on us (brrrr) throughout the show.

Spacious concert hall....excellent seating throughout. The stage is ample for any type of performance. Parking is plentious, within a short walking distance.

I perform choral works at the Schlesinger Center twice per year, four visits with rehearsals. The proscenium stage has sound walls and handles ~200 performers. The parking structure is a good size and has two entrances and exits. The facility is modern, has good dressing rooms, and a spacious foyer.

I loved the USAF Jazz heritage concert with Christian McBride. Parking lot is a pain to get out of . It takes forever.

Theater on the campus of Northern Virginia Community College hosts a variety of free and paid shows for the general public throughout the year. The theater is spartan in design, but always clean and well maintained. Please note that parking is limited, and NOT free.
