I love that I can travel just a few minutes from home and start a hike. And after about 10 minutes Albuquerque isnt even visible. Plus you dont have to walk far to start seeing petroglyphs. How cool!

Awesome hike. Very peaceful walking trails, and not the smoothest terrain but a path can be distinguished from the brush. Parking is a little tricky. There is no designated parking lot that I am aware of. We used street parking in one of the nearby neighborhoods.

Rugged, not paved. But quite place to walk around.
