This is a beautiful well-kept course that has an amazing set of staff who make sure your golf experience is safe and fun during Covid. The cafe is actually delicious and the drinks are really reasonably priced. And you cant beat the prices as well for a tee time.

The golf course itself is great, fairways and greens are well maintained. The worker there are very rude especially the marshals. we teed off 10 minutes after group in front of us and about 4 holes in we are getting harassed By marshal that we’re playing too slow. There is about 5 groups in front of us That we’re waiting on so we can’t play any faster

Excellent condition , up hill and down sale, doglegs left and right , elevated greens , some tough holes and a couple of easy ones . I was told you needed to be accurate, but not really . Excellent bunker placement and condition . VERY fast greens . Very enjoyable !!!.

It was great to be able to get out and play. The course was in great shape. They did respect the boundaries in regards to Covid 19.

A breathtaking course with an unbelievable staff. I wanted my boyfriend to enjoy a round while we were traveling and they went the extra mile to make sure everyone in the party was taken of. We will be sure to come back next time we are in town.

I’m a beginner and an employee had the nerve to come scold me and ruined my whole experience. I wasn’t playing slow or holding people up and was going at pace. He had the nerve to tell me I should play the 3 hole. I paid my $50 just like everything else. He brought me to tears and I will never come here again.

The best public golf course in Albuquerque - a classic layout and usually in excellent condition.

This course was fun & challenging. Scenic views on almost every hole. Itll definitely test your skills. If youre a high handicapper you might find it difficult to play. The course is well maintained & was in great shape & for the price well with it. Ill definitely play this course again.

The Championship Golf Course - University of New Mexico is a championship layout that ranks with some of the best in New Mexico. This desert-style course provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

This is a true classic golf course. Friendly and down-to-earth staff, Nice practice facility with a large practice and chipping green. The course has more than enough to keep your attention with challenging doglegs and large elevated greens. Only 5 minutes from the airport making it a great place to get a last minute round in before taking off. The only downside is the course is hard to find since theres really no clear sign posting.

I really like the course and was looking forward to playing it again. But the pace of play was awful and not a single Marshall to be found on the course. Front 9 not bad but on back 9 had to wait at least 5 minutes for every shot. Signs in the carts saying pace of play with a 5 minute stop at the turn should take 4.5 hours. We have 3 holes to go and we are already at over 4 hours. I don’t understand courses that set a standard and then don’t enforce it.

Played April 2016. Course was in good shape. Greens were firm, but not rock hard, and very fast. Some greens are so hard you have to land it short, others are nice and soft so you go right at the pin. These you want to just land the green and have it roll out. Front nine is nice and wide, very forgiving. Back nine plays more narrow. Course seems long. (or I wasnt hitting them long that day!) Almost all my approach shots on par 4s seemed to be 160+ yds, even after a bomb drive. Walkable course, with some elevation changes, but tee-to-green is short. Would play again for sure.
