Favorite course in the ABQ area. Challenging but not to long from the blues. You do have to keep it in play though, otherwise you might be in for a long day. May even see a rattlesnake.

I love Sandia GC and consider it the best golf value in Albuquerque. The course is great, the views are beautiful, the staff is friendly, & the grill is great. Fun & very playable course for all skill levels. Holes 5 (610 yard par 5 with split fairway) & 15 (long par 4 with split fairway) are particularly difficult. Many of the holes play very differently from different tees, too. It is long from the tips even at Albuquerques altitude. Practice area is great but the short game area could stand to be expanded. Champions Club is a good deal if you play enough. The competitive association, the TPCGA, is open to Champions Club members, is an absolute blast and you dont have to be a single digit handicap to enjoy it. I only wish they could add another 9 or 18 holes.

The view is amazing! I love all of my golfer servers, Megan and Audrey (Aubry). Excellent food. I order the Eagle Breakfast and other guest gets the Inside Out Burrito. So yummy!

With Covid-19 destroying the year of 2020. Management is very rude. seems they have changes up the rules for tracking people as the enter the golf course. If your name isnt on the list, you arent allowed to enter at all.even for a simple player switch. I HIGHLY recommend going Isleta Golf course. people dont seem to be as rude. Its just as nice/challenging. It seems that the year of 2020 has gotten under Sandias skin way to much.

I worked on cleaning it last night. A nice and cozy place to get a massage, use the sauna, and relax in the warm water. A great way tp spend your day off.

Very pretty course, great value too if you are used to Vegas or Phoenix prices. We played at sunset which was great, saw road runners and a tarantula.

The course itself is alright (definitely challenging with numerous fairways separated by desert terrain), but the tee times are booked too closely together to maintain a solid pace of play. Other basic amenities like water in the cart coolers or integrated cart GPS to show distance from other groups would be nice.

Challenging course with great views. Would happily play here again. Prices in the pro shop for apparel and accessories were astronomical but that’s to be expected.

Awful service at the pro shop. Came in at 6:20 shop closes at 7:00. Young man behind register said” I closed my register and you will not be able to purchase anything “ Now I purchase shirts for my boys every year we are there spend about 400 to 500 dollars! I am in retail and it takes about two seconds to bring your register back up. Young man if I were your boss and wittiness this you would be fired on the spot. But I guess your shop is so rich you don’t need the sales. I think not!!!! We will never shop at the Sandia golf pro shop again!!! Second time this has happened. LAZY

Good place to drive golf balls

I have played golf all over the US. This is one of the best courses I have ever played. A Scott Miller design who worked for Jack Nicklaus Golf. A very challenging course. Great tee boxes and greens. Generous fairways.

High end club, for a reasonable price. Been here several times and am always treated like a valued guest. The clubhouse/starter always make sure to team me up with a group, which is always welcomed. I appreciate a clubhouse doing what they can to regulate the pace of play. And the conditions and views are top notch.

AWESOME! COURSE IN GREAT CONDITION! GREAT STAFF MADE IT VERY ENJOYABLE!!

A friend and I had lunch here. He had the bar-b-que brisket. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. His meal was fine. My sandwich consisted of grilled chopped pastrami mixed with spicy mustard on very toasted rye bread. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed.

We come every year for the Balloon Fiesta but did not bring our Clubs because we were out exploring all week every afternoon. We will play here next year for sure!

Sandia has the best golf experience in the state of New Mexico! I play here and eat at the Grille quite often. We had our company Holiday Party in the Golf Course Grille. The food was excellent and the service was even better! If youre looking for the best event center in Albuquerque, Sandia is the place to be! Definitely recommend as the #1 golf course in the state and the #1 event center for events and weddings!

Best golf course in the city. Quite possibly the state. The golf maintenance crew there really does a good job getting the course in top shape for the players.

I have to say the food that we had was Very, Very good. Although being the only table of 4 on your patio and also the only table with customers, our waitress was the worst waitress I have ever seen. No water refills, no coffee refilled, we had to get up and go inside and ask for cream for our coffee and again had to get up and ask for jelly for our toast. Not one smile from the waitress. She has no business waiting on people. Kristiana

My co-worker and I were visiting Albuquerque looking for a new building site for manufacturing. We scheduled a T time here a week in advance as we knew we would have time on Friday to get a round in. There were tournaments Friday morning so the earliest we could get in was 2:40 PM. We showed up at the golf shop to check in and they said we didnt have a t time. They said there was a group that wanted to play again and they were scheduled at 2:30 through 2:50. They did nothing to accommodate us. And after thinking it over it was obvious that our t-time was bumped to accommodate the group that wanted to play again. If we had driven 6 hours to just play this course I would have been furious. It is just unprofessional. The good thing is that the company I work for will employee over 200 individuals and they hold golf tournaments for their employees and my CEO has already said he will not support holding the company tournaments at SandiaThank you for your response it is very appreciated. When I travel to New Mexico again I will stop in. I just want to say the gentlemen working that day didnt offer to get us out at another time. He seemed really nervous when we told him our t time. I hope it was computer issues.

Casino is AMAZING, But the Golf Course, all I Can is WOW!! The staff is very RUDE and VERY MEAN. They didnt want to provide me with any information I needed bout the course, bar, etc. They told me to just leave and go that they were denying my service after I paid, NO REFUND NO CREDIT BACK ON MY CARD JUST for asking for some information..

The golf course is part of a large all inclusive casino, resort, entertainment and convention center. The golf course staff isnt the most welcoming group, but they are efficient and not rude at all. The warm up, practice facility has range, chipping and putting available. It is rated as a fairly easy course, but for a white tees- 18 handicapper, it is a challenge. It is long. The greens are a big disappointment. They were always difficult due to their slope and undulations. But the original grass has been all but taken over by poa annua and is uneven causing the ball to hop and sputter about. For the price, the greens should be a lot better. The carts all have GPS. They now also offer single person surfer style carts. The course has quite a few tournaments which makes getting tee times challenging at times.

We were there for the NM Open this week and decided to eat at the cafe. What a bad idea that was! the service was horrible and we waited atleast 40min for our food to arrive when it arrived it was cold. The waitress was so rude did not appolize for the food being cold or how long they took for it to come out. I would of expected more espessally for the price. Will never go there again!

This is a true resort course, excellent service, impeccable fairways and smooth greens. Not the hardest course you will ever play but a definite challenge from the tips as well as forward. You wont be disappointed.

Absolutely love to play golf here but with all the tournaments they host it can be almost impossible to play on any given day anymore. Too bad. Cant fault them for wanting to make money and hosting tournaments is their specialty but it can be very frustrating at times...

Very nice place

Played in April 2016. Weather was great. Course was in fantabulous shape! The greens were very firm, and had evidence of a recent aeration. With leftover sand in the aeration holes, it made the greens very firm and fast. Some of the greens seemed a little gimmicky to me (hole on the ridge between two tiers, slopes and funnel-type contours, etc.) Course is beautifully manicured. The bunkers have nice soft sand that you can actually hit out of. I did okay out of the bunkers, because the sand was how its supposed to be! Staff is very friendly (however, being a resort be prepared to give lots of tips... but thats okay, its a resort after all.) Played twilite for 36 bux! A steal. Definitely worth checking out.

Course staff was very rude. Kept telling us we were behind schedule in a rude tone like theres anything we can do about the players who are ahead of us. Dont think Ill be going back anytime soon to spend such a large amount of money on some place that rushes you to hurry and finish and not enjoy your time.

The golf course is 5 stars, the views are 5 stars, the casino and Hotel is 5 stars, the only thing I dont like about this Golf course is the staff.... Ive been to this Golf course and resort about 6 times and each time the golf staff have made me feel like a 2nd class citizen, I dont know if I dont look like I have money or maybe of a certain golf class, but they treat you very disrepectful and are very dismissive, my last visit is what warrants this review. I went online and set up a 4 some and I also reserved a golf board per their Web page instructions I recieved a comfirmation e mail and was on my way, super excited, I had never tried one before. When I arrived at the Golf course I entered the pro shop and was treated with the same you hardly exist attitude, I went to the bag drop area and there were 2 girls loading my bag unto a regular golf cart, I advised them I had rented a golf board and they told me I would be given one down stairs along with a quick tutorial. Upon arriving at the cart barn I was treated as if I was either going to steal it or was trying to get a board for free, they ignored me and it was only after I began placing my bag on a board that was close to the regular cart they gave me and my group, I was approached and asked if I had a receipt after explaining I had reserved one online I still needed to go back upstairs and show them my comfirmation e mail, but again very dismissive and interrogated as if they didnt believe me, made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable... service = 1 star if it wasnt for the gorgeous course and scenery I would probably never return.... cudos to the course management team, thanks for making my visit worth while!
