This is the best dog park I have ever been to period there is a lake for the dogs to swim in in an off-leash area as well as a large area for the dogs to play in which is divided into large and small. Theres a watering station poop bags and several entrances and exits. Its a great size and surrounded by a very beautiful Park

Large dog side was nice and big for all of the dogs to run and play together. Water located with nice bowl for those thirsty pups! I will be taking my dog back here soon!

Nice large area, well maintained. The most active area gets muddy, but chips are laid down when necessary. Fresh water available and benches spaced out. Large trees provide shade, but not adequate to shelter from rain. Might benefit from a covered section, but overall a fantastic dog park!

Best dog park around!, It is divided into large and small dog areas. The large dog area is huge with lots of great dogs around.

This is the place to take your big dog to play with other big dogs, and a separate park area for your small dog that runs with other micro dogs, and a separate area for aggressive dogs who dont play well with others but who still need to exercise, and a pond for dogs who need to take a dip. Bags for cleaning up dog messes are provided and there is fresh water, and a shower station to spray your muddy loved one off before heading home.

Review №10

Great space for dogs of all sizes and ages! The biggest issue is that because of the somewhat inconsistent upkeep much of the running area is not level and therefor prone to flooding. Also I know you Oregonians think your state gets cold, but where I come from we dont turn the water line off just because we see a little snow. Unless you get a permanent frost on the ground (doubtful) leave the water lines open so the dogs can get a drink from the dog fountain.

Nice park, friendly people and dogs. I know the water is off for winter. A walking track, even if it was made of gravel or wood chips, would be nice. Lots of mud, but its Oregon. Overall it was a good time!

Watering station is always a bonus for me. Two fenced areas. One for dogs 25lbs and under and another for dogs over 25lbs. I know dog parks are hit and miss when it comes to the dogs and people in it but today the people were very friendly and the dogs were all well behaved.

I come here with my two dogs as much as possible. It does get very muddy during winter and spring but my Labrador LOVES the mud and water so I dont mind. Very large areas for dogs to run. It would be good to have a light out there for winter time. Hard to see picking up poop when leaving too late.

Very nice park. Pros; Clean, landscaped nicely and a park to be proud of.Side note: The Annual Air Festival is held here and its something we have enjoyed in the past. With free admittance its been doable as the huge crowd was well managed. But they do ask for donations. Hot air balloons are brief highlight. Its a wall-to-wall vender festival. They get you with the $10 parking fee.Cons; The $10 parking fee for such events. Staging the shuttle buses directly at end of little walking bridge which causes significant back up at end of evening.~ There are nice baseball fields and multiple horse shoe pits that Ive seen. Veterans memorial too. Lovely setting. Very well maintained.

Two Large fenced areas, one for large breads and the other for small breads. They are mostly grassed with large shade trees next to large pond. Beautiful views. Great walking trails with in the park next to the dog park. For your convenience they have a dog-washing station. It could use more, or larger buckets for water. It was busy both days we went. On average 7-15 dogs, during mid-day when we were there. Only one bowl in each pin. More dogs needed to drink at once. It is hard for more than one dog with larger breeds to drink from one small bowl.People and pets were mostly sociable. In conversations, people mostly enjoyed the dog park. The main complaint was, the large reoccuring mud hole in large breed area.We really enjoyed chatting with everyone and learning about the life of most of the dogs and the breeds. It was nice seeing that the majority of the dogs were adopted or rescue animals. Learning how about their challenges and what they have over come.We travel often and have been to multiple dog parks all over the mid-west and west coast. My recommendations that I have noticed helped in our local dog parks and others. Also to get 5 stars.● Would be a small kiddy pool for dogs to drink out of at least in summer months.● Either by word of mouth or by sign- ask for dog- park users if they would like to donate i.e....(bowls, pool, doggie dew bags, balls). We as a community use it. We can help provide a more wonderful experience by donating, if we have it.● fill in reoccurring mud hole in large dog area.All-in-all we enjoyed our time and so did our pup. He loved meeting new friends.

This is a great place to bring your furbaby. My dog and I go regularly. Three separate fenced areas. Two are based on the size (by lb.) of your dog and one for aggressive/unsocialized dogs. Benches to sit on, free poop bags are available, trash can, water spout and water dish. There are two gates to each area to ensure there arent any escapees. Rules are posted. Please follow them. Your dog must be licensed and must be current on their rabies vaccination. Timber Linn lake is adjacent for all the water dogs. Biggest downfall - it is very muddy during the rainy season. It becomes nearly impassable if you dont have mud boots. And it does get flooded every year when the rainfall is excessive. That is the only reason I rated it as 4 stars instead of 5.

Its got some major mud puddles that can be nasty for the dogs to drink out of, some different ground covering material would be nice. For my dog, the best part is the off-leash area just outside the fence where she can swim in the lake and still play with other dogs! Its wonderful for a playful adolescent pup who is heat-intolerant!

Stopped here for Fido to stretch his legs while passing through. Large, well contained area with mature shade trees, plus separate small and large dog enclosures. The locals told me your dog may swing in the adjacent large pond / small lake. There is a no-soap dog wash just outside the enclosures. Parking lot gravel is pretty harsh on the paws and the entrance is tucked away behind a large commercial building.

The dogs love this place!I like that it is separated into play areas by dog size. It really helps when you have a little dog skittish of larger dogs.I am always so happy to see that when we go there it is never empty. The dogs that go are always excited to see new people and dogs alike.I am very appreciative of the City of Albany for providing poop bags, for when I forget to bring my own, and water and water dishes so the dogs can always stay hydrated.

Late at night we stopped in and pottied are dogs. There were no lights to be visible to pick up the poop even though they had baggies and trash cans available which is nice to have during the day. The yard is very large with wood chips and well fenced in with two gates at each end. The water for the dogs you must pump yourself. All in all it was refreshing to see the dogs be able to run free in this large yard.

Tends to become a mud pit in Winter and Spring. They also turn off the water to keep the pipes from freezing... which means you have to find other ways to water your dog and clean your dog of mud. Lots of room for pups to run around.
