Awesome park! Visited the area for my husbands work .... Me and my daughter stopped by here so she could ride her scooter it was very clean, and very big! Also, they have a disc golf course! Good to know!

This is a really nice park! Recommend by a coworker who dug the ponds, while working for the city.There’s enough room at this park to do whatever. Well maintained pavilions for picnicking, disc golf, a really nice dog park, ball fields, a cellphone charging station, clean restrooms, nice kept playground area and adequate parking.I visited just this last Sunday to fly a new kite. What a perfect day and wide open fields.I highly recommend this park. Although there’s no fishing. It’s a really relaxing park. Hope to see u there.

Fun place to take your children whether theyre toddlers or older, they have play equipment to satisfy any kids wants and yes they will have a lot of fun and its a very safe environment. The playground has a cedar chip floor so when those many accidents happen it doesnt hurt near as bad. I really recommend this park , its an Alabaster Community Park and everyone always has a great time!

Very nice dog park, especially for bigger dogs. The part of the dog park for smaller dogs is still nice, but not quite as well equipped as the one for big dogs. There are also nice walking trails and a playground for kids. Overall, very good park.

The park is a great place to walk or just be outside the dog park is great and splits large dogs from small ones. It also has a water area where dogs can cool off in the summer if they like water. The parks are nice to bring the kids to but the smaller ones need a little tlc. The large one if fine

This is my favorite local park. There are multiple playgrounds for children, two dog parks for dogs of different sizes, and plenty of walking trails. There are always plenty of other children around if you wand your kid to have friends. But also plenty of places for childless couples or groups to escape the noise for a peaceful walk.

Enjoy walking, roller blading, riding bikes, birthday partys dog park and watching the kids play at the fields. Always a great time. Fireworks are wonderful, and the other events that alabaster hosts are always fun.

Wonderful park. Great space to play. I hate that fact the the road is so close to the first park because a kid could just run out there or someone could possibly try to snatch someone. Just a safety thing as a parent to be aware of. But overall a fun family place.

This dog park is awesome. It’s gated on two different sides for dogs or puppies under and over 35lbs. Water fountains training obstacles. It’s a must if you have fur babies!!

This park has everything you are looking for wether it is to walk around or jog. Taking your dog out for a fun day or even playing a sport wether it’s Soccer, Baseball, Skateboarding or even just having fun on the playground. This park has it all! You can come and get really nice prom picture or look at the nice views and relax. This is really the perfect park!

Really open park, with plenty of space for kids to play and adults. Disc golf course is beginner friendly, most holes are open field with a few in the woods. The park is well kept and drains water very well.

One of my all time favorite parks! It has a walking track that goes all the way around, skating park, disc golf course, ponds, and a dog park. The dog park is one of the nicest dog parks I’ve ever been to.They also do movie nights on Fridays during the summer. They have pavilions and playgrounds as well. Baseball games go on here quite often as well. Easily one of my favorite parks.

Veterans Park is awesome sports complex complete with a dog park as well! Very clean, well maintained, and a friendly helpful staff. When spending a weekend here for softball tournaments they have great concessions but are willing to help you find great little local eateries!

Absolutely love this park. I wish they were open 24/7! They have bowls at the bottom of the water fountains for your doggies and other animals. Great place to run or walk! Amazing place to play pokemon go, especially when there is an event. Disc golf. There is pavilions and benches and there is a few bathrooms. There is a dog park.

This is such a beautiful park. I was surprised when I pulled in. There is so much for the family or just a single person to do. Theres a trail to walk on, nice playground for the kids, baseball fields and batting cage. I know I missed some stuff but anyways, its an awesome place.

The place is great and the people and dog that use it are wonderful people. The water feature on big dog side needs some repairs.

Absolutely love this park! It has a large playground (two actually, one for smaller children), a mile-ish running track, a small lake where you can feed fish and ducks, and has events there occasionally. One of my daughters favorite places!

This is an awesome park. There seems to be something for everyone. The kids’ playground is nice, with areas for kids of all ages. The dog park was well-maintained, the skate park was very nice, and there’s a great disc golf course as well. We visited the park around 5:30 on a weekday and it was not extremely crowded, which we really liked.

This is the best place to walk around and catch Pokemon!!!And hatch your eggs... and battle in a bunch of gyms...A One Stop Shop for everything a good trainer needs.

Veterans is a wonderful park for small and mid size children as well as pets and tenns and adults all around lovely park.

This is a very nice park. We picked up lunch and ate at the picnic tables. The area was clean and comfortable for having lunch. Theres also a nice play area for the kids. They loved playing on the swings and slide and had a great time.

Great park with a lot of space and numerous facilities, including a baseball field and batting cage. A small pond has turtles and geese frequently. There is a large play area for toddlers and young children, too!

I absolutely *love* Veterans Park! I bring my dog to Veterans Dream Dog Park, and he has an absolute blast each time. The park is very well maintained, and I love the walking trail, as well as the various events held during the warmer weather. Its such a great family/pet family environment. We are truly blessed to have such a fantastic park/dog park in our community!

Very nice park that has pretty much anything you could want include a top-notch dog park.

I always enjoy visiting the dog park at Veterans Park here however sometimes people bring their children to the dog park which runs it for the rest of us. When someone brings their children to the dog park to play in the dog park when there is very obviously childrens play equipment less than 500 feet away it takes away room for our dogs to run and play. I wish people would take that into consideration before bringing their children into play in the dog park.

I love this park for running. Its got really beautiful scenery (trees and water and hills), and the pavement is in good condition all the way around the 1.7 mile trail (including the parking lot). People who frequent the park are really courteous (in my experience) and the park is mostly very clean. Four stars because of the sometimes trash in the parking lot.
