After the renovations Cascade Plaza looks great. Now the city of Akron is putting a circle in down at Mill & Main Street. I guess sometime by Summer all of itll be finished. Cascade Plaza is I guess you can call it a business center. The shops are in Orangerie Mall one block north.

The renovation to the space looks great. I hope they find a nice tenant for the old hotel. I came for their food truck fair during the week and its assets very beautiful at night when things are going on downtown.

Construction makes it very hard to get to and park

Beautiful views and quiet little spot in the middle of the city. Port-a-johns for public use are clean, and the entire plaza is tidy as well! This is a great place to attend community events, or just spread a blanket out on the lawn and center yourself with some YOU time. They also have tables and chairs around for anyone to use. My husband and I came into town for the Downtown Akron Partnerships Pokémon Go event in August of 2017. We loved this plaza so much, and were impressed by the serenity and cleanliness! We will be back. If you are in Akron, dont pass this place up!
