Most intense live theater I have ever experienced. Well be going back for the next production.

We found the theater a small intimate room tucked around a bar. The comedy was good and varied content. I found it entertaining and the last act opened up to his personal life, I enjoyed. The food and drinks left something to be desired. We had two appetizers, the calamari and tortilla chips. One too spicy and not what we expected, the dip too garlicky. The tequila sunrise not made right.

Very professional acting. Thought-provoking plays. I recommend having a reservation because there isnt always room if you just come without one. Becoming more well-known and popular. Always a worthwhile experience.

Ive held season tickets for 3 years, and cannot recommend highly enough.Thought-provoking, high quality theater in an intimate environment. Productions are often dark - exploring controversial subjects and issues. Prepare to be challenged!

Wonderful productions. And right in Akron! Sort of theater-in-the-round. Small and tight. All successful professionals.

Ive been twice with a friend to see two different shows. I must say , Im not one for live productions (probably due to the fact I was ruined by them at a young age) but these folks put on a quality performance. I would recommend any sceptic or first timers to the arts, to have this be their virgin experience. Id say it seats about 50 or so people and it has been a sold out house both times I went.I dont want to spoil anything for this show for you but Yankee Tavern will have you asking yourself more questions and wanting more answers once you leave.

Awesome performance of a play called Boy. Comfortable seating, private communal setting. Good use of space, lights, and tech. Impressed, just get tickets early since it is a small venue!

Great little theater company! I will be back for more shows, but I will be sure to get tickets in advance, shows sell out and it is a small venue. Dont bring kids shows are controversial and sometimes sexually themed but still well worth the price.

Great theater that puts on thought-provoking plays. The inside is close quarters and surrounds the main play area and allows for multiple angles to enjoy. There isnt anything negative I can say.

Absolutely unforgettable theatre. The audience was deeply moved by the production. The stories are always powerful and relatable. Theatre for the people. Theatre for the many. Dilly Dilly. Do yourself a favor. Get out of the house. And go. And they serve a free shot of Jamesons...not Bud Light...before every show.

Every show is warmed up with a shot of Jamison! Although the stories are never bright and uplifting (thus the name of the theater), the actors in each show are believable.

The venue is small but comfortable although the chairs are hard. Will definitely return for future shows.

My wife and I have been season subscribers since None Too Fragile opened and we have never been disappointed by a performance. Selected plays are NOT for the fragile (or faint of heart) as they cover serious and contemporary issues that move one. Skilled performers in the small intimate theater make you feel as though you are in the play. It is best to go with someone as when the play is over you need to ventilate about the experience and decompress. The theater is housed in the same building as Bricos Pub which provides good food and a panoply of beers and other bar items.

A fantastic little black box theatre in the back of Bricco Pub. The cast and crew are always stretching the limits exposing patrons to what typically could not be seen outside of New York. Grab a drink from the bar, sit back, and prepare to be moved. you may not always agree with the material, but youll certainly leave talking about what you just saw.The theatre does get a little warm so dress comfortably.

If you are looking for thought-provoking theater, you are not likely to find a better place throughout northeast Ohio. The selection of plays, casting, directing -- all superb. Their reputation is building, and sellout performances are becoming common.
