Very interesting and interactive! The museum entrance fee was very reasonable ($10). The exhibits have thorough information and the psychology experiments are quite interesting to learn about. The museum offers numerous interactive mental or physical acuity tests. I definitely recommend a visit!

This Museum touches on a lot of classic research in psychology and is eye opening, especially in comparison with modern culture. It has a lot of fun interactive exhibits and I hope it helps foster compassion and understanding for people with mental illness.

Wow! I was not expecting thus to be so interactive, interesting, and even engaging for my 11 year old. We spent nearly 3 hours in this small space and would be happy to go again. What a great little find in Akron!

Inexpensive. Several exhibits to interact with. Most of the exhibits were strictly reality-based educational. An early circa 1930s film explanation of a transorbital and frontal lobotomy, as well as a straight jackets and original electroshock therapy tools. Well worth 10 bucks

I was very impressed with this museum’s layout and all the exhibits. There are video stations and many hands-on pseudo experiments! It is self guided and if you stop to read everything, it takes about 2 hours to get through. Highly recommended!

One of the most unique facilities of its kind. The remarkable history of the field of Psychology is an intriguing look into the evolving study of the human mind and behavior. The soon to be renovated facilities will be state of the art, and will offer an outstanding and most inightful excursion into this fascinating field of study.

Im not sure why they had an opening when all that was open was the 1st floor. We paid 5.00 to see an empty 2nd floor except for a library, 3rd floor and 4th floor both empty. We heard the vision but, this opening was totally premature. It is very hard to judge what it is going to be just hearing anothers vision. So, many things can change. The few displays that were available were interesting though. WAIT to go until the entire museum is set up, thats what I suggest having been there.

I went here on opening night, and the facility is fantastic. Each of the exhibits carries substantial meaning. Many of the exhibits are interactive and keep the patrons engaged throughout the experience. Youll learn about lobotomies, the classic Milgram experiment, and the Stanford prison experiment. Seeing handwritten letters from the participants of the Standard prison experiment was fascinating. There is also a documentary to view on Netflix for this one.I believe this is the first national museum covering psychology. It is well worth the trip.
