We take our grandkids to Storybook Land each year-and they LOVE it! The grounds are beautiful and the displays are so creative! For ages 1-about 10, its the best! Adjacent to it, there are activities for those over age 10, such as go-karts, mini golf and bumper boats. A great place that includes beautiful camping sites as well! Kudos to a town the size of Aberdeen for creating and maintaining this excellent family park!

I wish I would have had my toddler with me, he really missed out! But my adult sister and I had a blast at this cute, yet slightly creepy at times, park attraction. It was a blast seeing all the nursery rhymes that were portrayed and the features associated with each one. Beautiful walking trails, and it was fun to see the buffalo and goats. Art is in the eye of the beholder, but some of the statues look straight out of horror movies, I think it added to the experience. If I am ever back in Aberdeen with my son, I would definitely bring him here!

Absolutely loved Storybook Land, our grandkids had tons of fun. Cant wait to go again next year. Free entrance and parking, 1 card for 10 rides only $17.50, not bad at all. Yellow brick road needs a touch though but great place to spend the day.

Our first vacation since my husband and I started our new family together ((only took 6 years)) and it was the best vacation ever. Storybook Land was the last place we visited but definitely not the least, the icing on cake! Recommended for anyone taking a family vacay in the Aberdeen, SD area.

We took our children who are ages 11, 9, 7, and 3 years old to Storybook Land, and they loved it! The theme park offers free admission with affordable ticketed rides. Many local hotels offer a coupon booklet that has coupons for the rides which makes the rides even more reasonable. There are also plenty of interactive attractions to enjoy for free. Expect to spend between 2 to 3 hours at this park.

Hours of fun. Storybook Land is a unique park with tons of interactive figures from your favorite childhood storybook. Everything is very well kept and they have even added several new attractions since we were here several years ago. This park is free except for the rides but even those are not to expensive. Kids got to see figures like Jack and the Bean stalk, Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Black Stallion, Old McDonald, Winnie the Pooh, 3 Little Pigs and so many more. They even have a small wild animal exhibit, bike trails and a small train ride that take you around the park. The train and the newer roller coaster was a favorite for the kids. Well worth your time!

This playground park is free! Its better then Rapid Citys because there is the Wizzard of Oz area. The amusement park rides are cheap like $1-$2 (theres a kids train ride, teacups, carousel, balloon ride, and kids roller coaster.) There is a small maze, toddler park. Large castle, animals, tons of slides and small structures to play in, small wadding pool, concessions, gift shop, restrooms, waterfountains, and picnic areas!

Free Admission! Free Parking! Very cute and fun. So many cute little storybook characters. The Wizard of Oz experience is wonderful. Super clean park. Live animals in a mini zoo. Petting zoo too. Careful on Jack and Jills hill. My daughter fell over the side of the slide and bumped her head on cement. We were close by and nearly caught her, but she was fine. The irony of that story. Haha. Plan a few hours, this isnt a tiny wayside park. Worth the stop. Kids ask about it alot. Get there.

Family favorite! Free! Fun! We absolutely love it here. We spend a lot of time here in the summer and it never gets old for any of us. Sometimes we just walk through the front part, sometimes we also do the Land Of Oz. Sometimes we throw in going to see the animals or start there before we get to tired. Then of course we also have to ride the rides sometimes! There is a fun carousel with lights and music, a spinning high balloon ride, a little train ride, a teacup ride, a small roller coaster, and my favorite, a train ride around the park. There may be more I am forgetting as well since they are spread around the park. The rides are very reasonable. The food is not the best here, so we pack a lunch which no one makes a fuss over bringing in food. The snacks and drinks there are fun to get though! We like to bring a wagon or stroller for the kids, but they do have some to rent. The Storybook Land Festival they have in July is super fun to go to. They also have shows in the castle, as well as regular activities for kids there. I could keep writing, but I think you get the picture. Go! Even without kids just to have a nice walk. You will love it!
