Wonderful space for any kind of activities!

On October 10th, I got to celebrate my fathers 90th birthday with our family. The moments and memories that we have gotten in this one night is something that we will truly never forget. This especially applies to my father. He was happy with how everything turned out. The staff was also attentive and very generous with their service. I recommend coming here if you need a place to have an event.

Was great up until the pandemic hit having to cancel my wedding until further notice and “the best they could do” was give me another date for who knows when after I paid half of my agreed price. Explaining a virtual wedding with family was the plan they didn’t want to hear it, still trying to figure out how to get my money back for four months now.

Great staff, great food and amazing service! Party decor is amazing and everyone treats you like family! We have had so many family events here are they were all incredible!

A little hot but it is a decent place. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Place was clean, bathrooms were clean, food served was good. Ballroom is spacious depending on size of the party...overall.....the party I attended there was nice.

They really pay attention to all of your request and needs, able to work on your budget and offer great prices, good food, service was great, they treat you like family and is a huge and beautiful place!! This place is just beautiful. I loved coming here and enjoying everything they had to offer. Thestaff is so lovely; they made sure everything was done properly. Unlike other places where they add money for every separatething, this ballroom makes you a fantastic package within your budget for everything youneed.2. There is no issue for the number of people that this venue can hold. You can have up to 500people. Also, there is no question about parking. There is plenty of parking for all your guests.3. They have vendors to do anything you need for your event. Anywhere from needing someoneto do decoration to get a cake or DJ.This ballroom makes everything complete from having a red carpet entrance and LED lights tohave a wonderful experience with the manager and staff.Reasons why you should not have your event here:None :)

Very elegant decor and interior. Food was okay. Location can be a lil dangerous at night. Parking attendant was very helpful. Would love to go again.

The historic Grand ROOSVELT Ballroom located in the heart of downtown Yonkers is a beautiful, elegant and wonderful place to have a Black Tie Affair or Awards Gala! Every year for the past five (5) years my company has a Black Tie Awards Gala & Dinner Benefit. Jan Mohammed & his staff are extremely helpful, courtesy & professional. I highly recommend the Grand ROOSVELT Ballroom for your next elegant event.

This place is totally different .We were looking some venue which is look really Royal and give a rich look.After searching found this Gem.We discuss our requirements.There Office staff they help us to finalize our event.They help in our choice of Centerpiece,to select color of table,cake and food menu.We are thankful them even we don’t know couple of thing but they mention and it’s big help.It was really memorable event and we are thank full Grand Roosevelt staff.

I had my husband 40th surprised birthday party here. The owner john was very nice, the hall was beautiful and all the staff was so nice to us and made sure everything was taking care of. The foods was great and all my guest was saying that they had a blast and everything was wonderful and my husband was very happy how everything turn out. One big thank you to all the staff for everything they did to make my event beautiful.

I went as a Guest to a Pakistani/indian wedding so can,t say much about pricing, other food menus.Food is quite good [indian based].ample space and charm typical of a banquet hall.Also,hall parking to Right side of Building.Street parking free after 8pm-1am.One can park easy on these side streets w/o hassle.

I have been here on more than one occasion. The space is elegant and inviting, the wait staff is accommodating and professional and the food was Halaal, well prepared and presented and very good, and although my personal event was canceled, the owner/operated was very accommodating with regards to a refund.

Nice place! Good food and attention! Also, they have parking lot. (I had previously given 2 stars but honestly I did not know anything about it, I think it was a mistake, thanks for your response)

We had our wedding there and it was amazing . Found this via Google and couldnt believe how beautiful all the photos were and it was priced only $$. I met the owner Jon and realized it was no mistake. This place is was very affordable for a princess wedding my wife always wanted! Jon helped us out step by step and kept us informed of everything through out the process. The wedding day was amazing , the staff was so attentive ! The decor was incredible . Food was delicious and all on an unbeatable price ! We still come here to eat at the restaurant next door which is owned by Jon.Keep up the awesome work!!

Oh wow! My wedding was on the 6th of November, 2016 in the Grand Roosevelt Ballroom. It was an amazing success, a very exciting experience. Mr. John, the manager, Cynthia and all of the team were simply wonderful people. Their patience and professionalism was quite remarkable and they put in so much to make our event a memorable one. By the time we were done, we were swept away with joy for the smoothness of the ceremony. Strongly recommend it for anyone.

Ima Sunday football chic and this place is awesome to go to . . . food is fresh and yummy, people are super nice/friendly/fun, TONS of tvs and they are more than accommodating to everyones games! Just an overall great spot :)

This place is great but for an Indian or Pakistani wedding the food is horrible and service is the worst.

I had the pleasure of speaking with John in response to a recent review I did on this business. Initially my review on this business was not good but I must say John took the time to hear my concerns and further he thoroughly explained to me the details of the contract for the event I attended, therefore I must advise that I previously spoke out of term as I did not see the contract. Ultimately I would utilize this business again because Customer Service is everything and John went above and beyond in responding to my concerns.

We had our sons baptismal party there for about 500 people and it was AWESOME. Mr. Jan and his staff are AMAZING. Please book this venue for future events you may be planning and you wont be disappointed.

I have attended this Ballroom for a Wedding Reception. I love the Venetian feel it has. The room comes to life with the lighting and the chandeliers. I enjoyed meeting with the Managers, who would walk around and make sure things should be going as planned Im assuming. The menus were never the same, so I compliment the Chef on a wonderful and delicious Continental Cuisine. Even the waiters went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I walked out feeling like I needed to find a reason to plan an event just to enjoy the ambiance of the place, especially to experience the great service.

We had my nieces sweet 16 here last month, everything was beautiful. The staff was great, the food was delicious, and the ballroom was breathtaking. Would definitely recommend it.Bonus: there is parking available.

The owner and the staffs are very nice clean and food taste good and have space for Salah(Namaz).

In the last weekI had my weeding in this place it is the best omg great service food is amazing and John is the best his all always was there for us helping us through out the planning process.I love the beautiful place and recomend it to every body . My name is Dr. Emmanuel Nwogu and I had my OBGYN Residency graduation & Thanksgiving ceremony at Grand Roosevelt Ballroom on July 12, 2014. I have to say that everything was beyond amazing at the event. This establishment treats you like a loving family. From the first encounter working out the plans to the day of the event every single thing was magnificent. The taste testing was excellent and they promised us that the food would be 10 times better on the day of the event which it was. The area was secure, food was excellent, the price was affordable and negotiable. The hall area was excellent! This ballroom is a steal especially being in the NYC area that can hold up to 620 people. I had around 400 people and it was beyond excellent. The food came out on time and the servers were excellent! I highly recommend using this ballroom. After the event, I went back to thank them for a job well done. If you are looking for a ballroom that can hold a lot of people with excellent service and affordable price, The Grand Roosevelt Ballroom is the place to be.

Grand Roosevelt Ballroom is easily the best banquet hall in Yonkers. Arguably the best in all of NY. The food is beyond amazing and the staff is very helpful and cooperative. Highly recommended.

I was there for a funeral but the atmosphere created by the staffers made it memorable. I also received a coupon to park for free.

Great but staff was alil rude

This place is overall a horrible place to book any type of party. My sister recently had her party here and yea the setting was nice but the service was horrible. First off, when one my aunts asked one of the waitresses if ahe had seen a bag that had gone missing she said in a rude manner Were not supposed to take or touch anything. Can you just leave im tired and i wanna go home. What in the hell type of way of treating a guest is that. Second of for the amount of money my parents paid you would they would bother to use more than just 1 bottle for the open bar. They seriously only used 1 bottle for every drink that was served that night. The drinks were more water and juice than anything. Besides that the portion of food they served was very little and when i noticed a guest ask if he can have a little more of the pasta the server made an annoyed face. Then for the dessert which was the cake and there supposedly ice cream bar one had to go and get it them selves, i understand in some places one has to go and get the food but never have i seen that one had to go and get the dessert as well. There supposedly ice cream bar was just one big bowl of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream. No toppings or sauces or anything that could go on the ice cream was offered. They gave out one miniscule scoop of ice cream per person. There were also other things that i personally didnt like but ill just leave it at this. Overall i would not recommend this placefor any type of party.
