Great room! But more important this is an amazing family owned venue that has been wonderful to the community and is offers something for everybody... Karaoke nights, private psrties, live music including charity events and even now with covid , a safe place where you can catch a game and safely see your friends....Finally wonderful bartenders and great down to earth owners...

Very mature crowd. The music was good and the ambianceis luxurious. People were definitely dressed to impress, but like I said, it was a very mature crowd. (40s and up). I missed the buffet, but just the idea of them having one is great.

Good food friendly staff

I like Backstage for the maturity of the crowds on Fri/Sat. The music is easy to groove to, regardless of the generation and the sneaker policy is flexible for ladies being a particular age. I go here all the time because the food menu is perfectly portioned and the L.I.T.s are GREAT!

Attended a birthday party here and was pleasantly surprised. Ample free street parking. Large dance floor. Fully stocked bar with moderately priced drinks that were not watered down. Seems to be a relaxed environment. The game was playing and they have traditional pub food, hot wings, fries, etc. Booths, tables and seating at the bar. Nice spot for a night out with friends to watch a game and have a few drinks.

Its really 3 1/2 stars. It was a slow night the DJ and dance floor was very good. The pool tables were not. Nice staff and clean place.

The Bartenders were not very friendly and had plenty of attitude. They wanted to charge $3 for a glass of water, had to manager involved. Really!

The music is awesome. The bartenders are sexy and friendly. However they need a much better tequila selection.

Sunday night party on a long weekend was lots of fun. Great music and friendly bartenders. Huge TV to watch the game. Kitchen was backed up an hour so we didnt eat. The poor bartenders couldnt keep up with the crowd.We were frisked at the door like criminals or trouble makers. Hated that.

I attended this establishment by an invite.i was very suprised that i never heard about this cozy place very nice for adult parties,they also have a pool table,the night I attended they were having a shuffle class. This was a little old for my taste off dancing ,but it was nice to watch.

It was a nice night out with the girls. The music was good, the crowd was cool and it was a large enough space. I wouldve given it 4 stars but the bar service was non-existent. My friends were able to get drinks after a very long wait but they tended to only assist people who were right on top of them. They should have more bartenders and skme one who walks around taking orders.

I found out about The Backstage Bar and Bowling lanes in Nov ‘18. I have been there 3-4 times since then. Excellent place to have a jumping food time out in Woodmere, LI. I went on Fri nights for R&B Friday’s and the music was excellent - service at the bar can get a bit slow at times but that’s because they were busy and I am a drinker BUT the prices are very reasonable. The bar sells finger foods and even that was delicious . Everyone was dancing and the atmosphere is light and welcoming . My experience wasa great location with ample free street parking !! All pluses in my book as we drove from Brooklyn like 3 times and even caught an Uber on 2 occasions. Really, this place is just a great as any of the Manhattan clubs. Definitely I will be returning .. I might evenget to bowl next time

Its hard to get a drink. The bartenders are too busy goofing around or taking care of people they know. I tip well. But they would never find out. But here we go again, we had a female bartender who kept the change....it was only a dollar....but you dont keep the change. My friend was about to add on 6 bucks but changed her mind when she didnt bring the change. Soured the night. We went elsewhere. This is how I tip. Whatever the drink is I tip 5 bucks. Due to the fact that I understand the struggle...but dam...you just dont keep the tip. Mandatory bar tips? I was really trying to like this place, but for this night you only get one star.

Went here for a Saturday night concert. The concert was fun but the bar was frustrating.... it took forever to order drinks. It was impossible to get the attention of the bartenders.UPDATE: Came back for a birthday party and had a good time. The Wednesday night karaoke is lots of fun, so I added a star to my rating. But once again, as soon as this place gets a little busy its very difficult to get the attention of the bartenders.

Over the past 2 years I witness this place demised. I was harassed last Sunday for wearing a Army hat. no staff on security duty .this place do not provide a safe environment.
