Great place to lounge and have a drink with friends. The music is a blend of oldies and goodies. Drinks are a bit pricey ($14) but carefully crafted. Seating is scarce but tastefully decorated. Crowd varies.

Very cool vibe here. This place is cozy and is a nice place to go hang out and grab a drink. Very old fashioned atmosphere with an assortment of age in the crowd. The cocktails were good and the staff was very friendly. Adds to the downtown Wilmington scene. They also offer an area that is available to booked for events. Definitely go check this place out!

This is our favorite place in Wilmington. There is always a place to sit, and fun people to engage in conversation. We love the regulars we see and the friendly staff. Drinks are tasty! Music is good.

Born out of a scene from The Great Gatsby, Tails offers an indoor retreat to the roaring 20s. Complete with various seating options, carefully curated artwork and a gorgeous piano...this establishment frequently has live music that provides a sophisticated vibe. Craft cocktails, wine and beer options abound, and slip out back to their open air patio bar for more of a party scene. It should be noted Tails is a membership bar, and costs $5 to join.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! From the decor, to the crowd, the entertainment, and the drinks, everything was great. It was a mature crowd and the live music was great. There was space for some dancing and the mood was wonderful across the board. This may just have become my favorite spot in Wilmington!! Nice job, guys!

Elegant, classy, and felt like I stepped back in time! Absolutely stunning venue! They had live piano music when we want, which really added to the 1920s feel. Will be back!

My best friend threw her boyfriend’s surprise 30th Birthday Party at Tails. It was absolutely perfection in every single way! Everything from the atmosphere/vibe, breath taking decor to the friendly and accommodating staff was on point! No details at this establishment are overlooked! I highly recommend this place!!!

What a great place to sit and relax, have a drink, listen to good music, talk with friends. Singers Andrew and Camille are very talented and were a pleasure to listen to. Unique sitting areas, in addition to the bar, and a fantastic outside patio area. As the evening went on, I noticed that there were not any/many younger (20-30 year old) folks but lots and lots of 40+. That might not be the case every night, however. I would have given this 5 stars but thought the drinks were a little pricey (but good). $10 wine and $14 mixed drinks. Beer was also available for about $5. I had a wonderful time and will go back.

We celebrated my daughter’s 29th birthday here with the 1920s theme and had a blast! The decor is exquisite and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Great drinks!

Charming and upscale. Punches above it’s weight. As a visitor, it’s not what I expected to find in Wilmington. Certainly gay friendly, if you’re looking for an LGBT place to have a drink, but it’s really a nice for anyone who likes a touch of elegance with their cocktails. One note: it’s technically a member’s only bar, but anyone can be a member. Just be prepared to pay a nominal membership fee (it was $5/each when we visited), which is good for a year. It’s like paying a cover that’s good for the whole year. A bargain.

This is the top notch establishment in Wilmington. Dont miss it. Everytime we come its a great bar scene and party. Tonight they have the US International Ballet Society performing!

Fun place. Live music piano bar up front and live music on outdoor patio. Very upscale, hip, modern, racially diverse and LGBT friendly. Cocktails, beer, hard liquor all served with style and elegance. Pretty boy bartenders too ;)

I like the decor and atmosphere. The live music is nice. But the wine is very subpar. There is a limited selection and both whites and reds. Both taste very cheap. I didnt even finish my glass.

Terrible cocktails guys! We had a party of 9 with all different drinks; bad. And expensive. I have been multiple times hoping for better drinks but have yet to get the quality you anticipate for the price you pay. The atmosphere and live music are worth coming for but I’d stick to wine or beer. My review is honed in on the bartenders more so than anything else; bad attitudes = bad drinks. Again, been a few times now. Watch them.

Located on front street in downtown Wilmington, this cozy little bar is a nice hangout spot.They have live piano players throughout the evening. A nice selection of wines and beer as well as mixed drinks.They also have a cute outdoor patio which is a great place to chill with friends or a date. I reccomend that you give it a try.

We listened last night to this Incredible DJ Curtis T Clydesdales music. It was a very fun night filled of Soul and Funk. This place has a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere and its a MUST GO TO spot for entertainment. As long as DJ Curtis T Clydesdale is playing his music we will be regulars ! Great place !

Awesome atmosphere and great music when we were there. The drinks were more expensive than other locations downtown, but they were made well and tasted great. This is a great date spot for people looking to get out on the town but avoid the nightclub/bar scene. It is definitely different than anything else downtown.

Stunning coctails with diving atmosphere. A bit chilly for the patio tonight but enjoyed their chairs while sipping a work of art. 5stars! Bartender offered up great suggestions and was a cozy visit. Will be back!
