I have experienced 3 Park District-run birthday parties for children ages 5-7 and all three have been a total disaster. The staff was incompetent, arrived 30 minutes late, and there was clearly a miscommunication between whoever scheduled the party and the staff running the party.
The outdoor ice rinks are great fun in the winter months.
Not bad overall. Basketball courts, volleyball courts, small indoor turf soccer field, batting cages, I believe they also have an outdoor hockey ring, and outdoor turf field. Kinda different since it used to be part of a school but they did a good job in reusing the space.

Amazing ice rinks! One for hockey and one for free skating... they do not have skate rentals but it is free to skate!
