Coral Reef Gymnastics is the second home for my girl! The gym is family owned and they make you feel part of it. They have the best coaches! My girl is part of the Optional Team and she spends a lot of time there and she loves it! The Coaches work on the skills as well as emotions. They are building true athletes: strong, secure and with team competitive spirit. In every meet we are all there, owners, coaches, siblings, parents. We are a family and we support each other.

Had my child’s birthday party here. Very affordable compare to other places around. They set up the gym with fun activities for the children and they included the use of the zip line in the price (which everyone loved)The staff were very nice and were very helpful before, during and after the party

Best place I have ever worked! They truly care about the kids and we all work together as a team. It is not just gymnastics. It is about character, physical fitness, well being, & teamwork in a safe and fun way! I’m not just a coach but a parent of a gymnast and she thrives here more than she ever has anywhere. Who are we? We’ve been part of the gym for almost 5 years. I’m a proud parent of a team girl. The coaches are the best, experienced, supportive, and dedicated. Everybody who works at Coral Reef, the staff, coaches, and the owners are excellent and very friendly. They always make you feel welcome. The most important is, that my daughter loves to be there, she enjoys training every day, thanks to the coaches and her friends. It is a wonderful gym, great atmosphere, very clean gym. I really recommend Coral Reef, and I love to be a part of this big gymnastics family.

Coral Reef Gymnastics and Cheer is a highly recommended gym for you. Employees and associates are kind. Coaches wise, they test your ability to the limit and they work you out till you can’t anymore. I was at a different gymnastics center before Coral Reef. I was not the best gymnast until I switched here. Coral Reef coaches got my skills on point and I got a lot stronger as a athlete with the hard work and conditioning we are pushed to do. Also everyone in the gym is very friendly and is very supportive. I have never felt the amount of support anywhere else other then Coral Reef Gymnastics and Cheer. In the Team program at Coral Reef Gymnastics and Cheer you are highly guaranteed you will a strong hardworking athlete. I highly recommend this gymnastics center. :)-Natalie S. ♡

My daughter has been doing competitive gymnastics for over two years here. I couldnt be happier with this gym! All of the coaches are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and posses a great deal of experience. The owners, Carla and Steve, are very open with communication, and a joy to be around. I cant imagine being at any other gym! My daughters favorite coach is Sabrina and level 10 gymnast Gaby. - Lisa Kaye

My daughter just had a birthday party there yesterday. The two coaches who oversaw the party were wonderful and attentive. (Thank you Scott and Andrea). Everything went smoothly and the kids had an amazing time. My only complaint is that there was not running water or bathroom near the party room. Somehow we survived. Thanks again for helping to make my daughters birthday special.

One year review. My daughter (and now my son) have been with Coral Reef Gymnastics for a year now and all I can say is I am VERY satisfied with their service, their attention and feedback. My daughter is on the competitive team (level 3) and she cant get enough!! She loves it, she loves the Coach (yeah she is the owners daughter but so what?) which is an Amazing and Professional person when dealing with my kid.y daughter loves her and the scores show it. Numbers tell everything and my daughter sure has improved under her tutelage. My daughter has proved on her school, her attitude and her behavior!. I cant thank Carla, Sabrina and the team for what they have done! 5 stars is not enough of a rating. If you like a family setting THIS is the place to be!

My daughter has attended Coral Reef since the summer of 2018. For their services alone, they rate a full five stars. The staff is always nice and friendly and the coaches are very talented in their ability to teach the students very quickly. However, there are a few things they fall short on; thus, reflecting their score.First, there is an extremely repulsive odor in the gymnasium. The smell hits me like a bulldozer every time I open the glass door. Sometimes I forget how bad it is until I open the door and I immediately gag silently although some parents notices and chuckles or nod in agreement. My daughter used to attend a different gym in Miramar that is farther from my home and Ive never experience any aroma like it. Second, although their competitive team is very talented and the coaches are great, the students outside the competitive team do not receive a lot of training on fundamental techniques (like coring-in, alining their posture, pointing their toes, and spotting) from my perspective. The problem I have with this is although my daughter knows how to do different flips, her technique lacks proper form and cleanness. Also basic skills like tightening your core and pointing is important to avoid injuries like the knees and back. My last issue and most influential, is the fact that we (as parents) entrust the staff with our children and pay the tuition faithfully each month to teach our children a skill but once its time to show us what we paid them to do, we have to NOW pay them for our children to participate in the show (which is held at their facility), pay for the outfit, and then pay for each member including the parents to attend the show. Maybe Im crazy but I find it outrageous to require parents to pay them to show us what we paid them to do initially. As I previously mentioned, my child attended another gymnastic facility and family day was always complementary, as well as the dance company she attended. I could understand paying for one, like free to participate but pay to attend or vice verse. In retrospect, its almost like paying a contractor to remodel your kitchen but once its time to see the final product he/she says but wait FIRST you must pay for staging and pay me to come see your kitchen revealed. Needless to say, I opted out of the performance because I could not rationalize that situation although my daughter was extremely disappointed.Nonetheless, my daughter still attends Coral Reef because the children learn a lot very quickly and its the closest facility to me. To deal with the discrepancies, I avoid going inside the gym or stay inside long enough to adjust to the smell. Also, I work with my daughter at home to teach her those fundament techniques like pointing, landing softly, and using her core which I enjoy because we get to bond... although I wish it was a joint effort.

The only intention of this review is to express my experience with Coral Reef. After my daughter (6 years old) went there for a month or so she did not wanted go back because she said they were meant. She was so frustrated to the point she did not wanted to go to any other facility at that time which surprise us because she is a person who follows direction. She has very good grades in advanced class, so she is not a trouble maker in any way.I called Coral Reef, sent an email to cancel, but because I could not cancel with a months in advance in writing they sent me to collection for $450.90. They included fees, plus insurance, plus registration. I had to make a payment otherwise they would damage my credit. I created a case with Better Business Bureau.I remember It was a time my daughter went to the training area at the right time thinking her classmate were there and a male trainer took her out in a way I did not see the reason why he did that. At that time I did not know how my daughter was feeling about Coral Reef otherwise, I would have complained. The first payment, they charged me full amount even when they knew was a short month (Christmas) When I complained they gave me credit back.In that month (December) they cancelled several classes and never gave me any credit.

Two weeks ago I enrolled my daughters in this camp Coral Reef Gymnastics at Weston. I regret to say that I lost my money, even my time. My daughters, not only did not learn anything about gymnastics, but begged leave the camp early each day. One of my daughters listened one of the guides saying hopefully soon begin classes ( I guess I like mom, to do not continue babysitting ) . Perhaps the opinion of the girls was wrong, so I decided to offer myself as a guide to the field trip. Not bad, but the truth is that the guides did anything great to distract the children , beyond load them back and forth in the Parrot Jungle . No emotion, No interest.I am not a person who use to complain, but I regret being so motivated to write this note and parents not have the same experience I had. Even more unfortunate was calling to expose my case and the Gym’s Manager answer was very elusive, excusing all. So, do not expect anybody will give you solutions, even less your money back if you are not agree with you are going to get from this place.

My daughter has grown up at Coral Reef. What started out as a stint at Summer Camp when she was 4 years old, has turned into her second family. She is now almost 9. Not only has she turned into a talented gymnast, she has gained valuable life lessons, exudes confidence, learned what it means to be part of a team, and has prospered from the discipline, hard work, and determination in all facets of her life in and outside of the gym.

Our daughter has developed so much in the 3 years at Coral Reef Gymnastics in large part because of dedication and demand for excellence shown by the ownership, coaches and trainers at Coral Reef . There is certainly a family atmosphere, however when the gymnast walk through those glass doors and on to the mats its all about hard work. There are classes, intructions and camps for every level, convenient and affordable for all families.JL

My son and daughter have been participating in the after school program for four years after trying a number of different after care programs. coral reef is superior to theothers in thatthey truly care about your child. My daughter also competes with Coral Reef and my son takes martial arts lessons. The staff and coaches encourage the children to reach their potential without communicating that winning is everything. They focus on skill development and fun while devloping a healthy competitive spirit. Strive to do your best!

I had to enroll my daughter there in the afterschool program, but immediately found that they send one of the coach (who barely had 18 years or less) to pick them in his personal car that had no air condition, car seat not even all the seat belts required to transport the 6 children he was transporting. On top of that I found that the same coach arrived at the facility to open the location, turn on the lights, AC, etc and stay alone there until the rest of the staff and kids arrived. I immediately cancel it and had to call my credit card to explain and make sure that no charges were made to my credit card. I dont think this is the way to conduct a business like this. There is a lot of stories now a days about child molestations, etc and I didnt want to take any chances with a male coach (18 years old) arriving at a location and staying alone there with my 6 years old daughter.Do not recommend this place at all.Other friends that I have commented about this situation, have expressed the same concerns that I have and as a consequence have not enrolled their kids there.

I had a horrible experience with their aftercare program. My 5 year old started aftercare last August 20, 2012 and right before Labor Day Weekend (2 wks into the program) I found out through my then 5 year old that she was being transported by a coach in the owner’s personal vehicle with no car seats and “without our consent” after having been promised that a “school bus” would be used to pick up my daughter from her school to be brought to the gym. After I asked the owner in person and she confirmed that this was true, and after asking her if she had proper insurance and licenses to use her vehicle as a public vehicle to transport children and received no answer, I immediately pulled my daughter out of the program with a written note handed over to her. The date I pulled her out was the day after Labor Day which fell on Sept 4th, thus she did not attend the program the month of September. About 2 weeks ago I received a letter from a collection agency demanding $319.95 which it’s what I supposedly owe the gym for the month of September. When I called Carla, the owner, she immediately remembered me and stated it was because I didn’t give her their required “30 day notice”. Not only did she deceive us about using her own personal vehicle, but because she was caught doing it she retaliated and sent me to collections. Their website states We Use Safe School Buses Not Passenger Vans really, they don’t use either one. Up to this day she is not willing to withdraw the account from collections. Also, the place was overcrowded with kids of all ages mixed in one room that only had long picnic tables not making it a fun place for the kids. Parents beware, this is definetly not the place you’d like to bring your little one to.

I AM COMPLETELY AT EASE KNOWING MY TWO PRECIOUS BOYS ADAM AND MICKEY ARE AT CORAL REEF GYMNASTICS MON THRU FRI FROM 3PM TO 7PM. THEY ARE QUALITY PEOPLE: OWNERS, STAFF MEMBERS, AND CLIENTS. I THINK THAT THIS INSTITUTION SHOULD BE USED AS FEDERAL MODEL FOR BEST PRACTICES FOR CHILDREN ACTIVITIES FACILITIES. STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE ARE CREATED AND UHELD DAY IN AND DAY OUT. IF I SHOULD WIN THIS $600 MILLION POWER BALL THIS WEEKEND THE FIRST CHARITABLE ACT WOULD BE TO CUT CARLA A CHECK FOR A WHOPPING $10 MILLION. THERE SHOULD BE A CORAL REEF GYMNASTICS IN EVERY CITY(MAJOR OR RURAL) IN THIS COUNTRY. THE PLACE IS A SAFE HAVEN FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS. I JUMP OUT THE CAR AS SOON AS MY WIFE AND I PULL UP JUST SO I COULD ENJOY WATCHING THE CHILDRENS PROGRESS AND SMALL TALK WITH OTHER PARENTS. ITS BETTER THEN THE DAILY ESPN JARGON AT THE WATER COOLER OR EVEN OFFICE GOSSIP. I URGE ANYONE WHO LOVES THEIR CHILDREN AND WANT TO SEE NOTHING BUT GREAT EXPOSURE TO ALL THINGS GOOD ENROLL THEM AT CORAL REEF GYMNASTICS IMMEDIATELY. THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I COULD THINK OF ABOUT CARLA IS THAT SHE HAS NOT GIVEN STEVE A SON YET. I LOVE THIS WOMEN. SHE IS MY SHERO!!!!! CORAL REEF GYMNASTICS RULES!!!!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED PARENTS AND CHILDREN.My kids attended this gym since 2009. It started as a recreational aftercare and they ended up on the competition team. My husband and I were always very pleased with the care in general and kids were happy, our girls loved being there. The owners are very attentive at first and we actually felt like part of the family because we spent so much time there.Problems began when the gym moved locations in 2011 or 12. The Coaches were leaving and dropping like Flies, the aftercare pick up was being done by the owners daughter in their personal car that was missing seat belts (according to the kids). The owners 17 year old daughter would sometimes drive the bus and pick up kids (dont you need a special liability license for this?)...One time the daughter was in an accident with my kids on the bus and I didnt find out until I picked them up. (unacceptable). When I called Carla the owner, she replied with it was no big deal just a small fender bender and all is taken care of... (seriously?)The billing system they have is, well, not a system at all. If we ever got behind a payment, they were flexible but once we were caught up...months later, they would say we owed thousands for previous months early in the year (absolutely irrational and absurd). There is no accounting and if youre not on top of things they WILL over-charge you. I honestly have to say that they did work with us when we fell through hard times, but I am also convinced now based on their actions when we left that it was all done with their invested interest in mind and nothing else.Long story short, they told us weeks before the season started in fall of 2014 that our daughter would have to be held back a level with no explanations. After 2 weeks of asking for an explanation and being ignored, 2 coaches QUIT and left so we had her evaluated at other gyms to see what level she truly was skill wise. When my husband informed them we had to make the choice to move the girls, they sent us a bill for $9,000 in fees through 2015. The bill had no breakdown of anything, and when we asked, their response was, you didnt give us 30 day notice and you took the girls to a competitor thats why we are billing you the annual fee for both.Needless to say, after 5 years of going there my husband and I were in SHOCK and extremely hurt by the owners Cold and vindictive actions. Nevertheless, we moved on, but what really hurt us was the fact that when we saw them at competitions they completely IGNORED our kids who had nothing to do with all this unnecessary drama, and also belittled our oldest daughter by criticizing her low scores and discussing it with her former teammates who came back and told her what was said the next day at school. One thing is for grown adults to act foolish and immature about a business matter with other adults, but to ignore or mistreat a child that once considered your gym HOME is plain heartless. I always say hello to their children and even them if I see them. Afterall, this is recreational gymnastics NOT THE OLYMPICS!!! but I know... and any parent who decides to leave will KNOW, our kids are nothing but a number to this family and because they never own up to their mistakes, lack of organization and unprofessionalism many are considering leaving this year, and its just so unfortunate.I just dont get business owners these days...I really dont...
