Greetings, the kids had a fast time. Also, the playground has a good sidewalk for beginner trike peddling or beginner 2-wheel pedaling. Happy trails

We love sensory park! This park was built for kids/adults with handicaps and disabilities. Almost everything, 95%, can be accessed via wheel chair. They also have wheel chair accessible tables, large high backs swings and a awesome wheel chair wavey side walk. There is a small pavilion with some shade but most of the seating is in the sun. The playground is great for those without disabilities too. My one complaint is that when we went (late May) they didnt have the water on for the drinking fountain or the portapotties set up.

Sensory Park isnt as much as a park as it is a pretty walking path. My buddies and I walked through it while going to the large shopping complex right next to it. We stopped to take some pictures by the small pond. It was very pretty and was a nice break from all the cars and buildings surrounding it. Pretty little spot to hangout!

This is a fully accessible park with lots of ramps but its only accessible via a lengthy sidewalk down a tall hill that you have to walk down from the parking lot - theres no quick way up or down. Its nice play area with lots to do, including some sand activities, its got lots of parking and is a nice quiet area - even has seating for the adults and some less common kinds of equipment. Its a tucked back out of sight behind some commercial buildings so most locals dont even know it exists - but it often has a couple of kids playing on it.

Great spot with lots of accessibility for all. Parking makes it so you have to walk along behind a lot of cars to use the paths, or try to maneuver down a rocky slope.

Great park for toddlers! There are a lot of cool and challenging places to climb without there being any high platforms they can fall off.

I really love this park and the structure of it. I just wasnt fond of it being directly behind office buildings.

It was a lot of fun, but when we were there, a school was there with middle school kids. They go there every day, apparently. Timing was off for us, but its a great, beautiful park.

This is a cool park and its out of the way, which is nice. Unfortunately, some filthbox named Sara tagged it up. She probably smells like Flaming Hot Cheetos and tardy slips.

Can we get better access from the parking lot please? Not much shade and everything gets hot quick. Water features wouldve been nice. The kids liked the teetertotter. Akwardly situated at the back of a business park.

Ed
Review №28

The fixtures are pretty decent although not well maintained, and there is absolutely no shade provided, thus everything is scorching hot during a sunny day. Youd think the City wouldve provided some sort of shade so the kids dont get burned or suffer from heat exhaustion. I know this is not AZ, but it gets pretty sunny.

As a mom of 3 boys we try to go to as many different parks as we can. This park is awkwardly located and hidden...behind corporate offices and then below the parking lot? The whole time Im thinking I must not be going the right way. You will easily miss this park as its not visible from the streets. You can go around the buildings but my gps took me through the alleyway between the buildings. But once there, its a good size. Plenty to keep the kids active. Good for toddlers and to about 10 years of age. Agree with another reviewer that it needs more shade.
