The leagues that are offered here are better than Broomfield but still lacks good management. Poor judgment in how leagues are set up and the league rules are updated every year but no one knows what the true rules are. Espeacially many of the unpires. Many times competive teams have been placed in the lower leagues because they needed to fill up the leagues evenly. However, someone is going to get really hurt. Novice players should not be subjected to aggressive teams......and I play competitively. I am live to play a really good game of ball with great talent but the safety of new players and novice players are being put at risk. If they want to raise the over all level of play, dont offer lower leagues. Also a small pet peeve.....if no dogs are allowed it should be enforced. Its annoying to hear another teams dog(s) whining and barking when their owner is on the field. Also, when dogs fight with each other makes it (another) safety issue here. Especially considering the amount of kids around.

These are some of the best baseball/softball fields in the area. Ive played here, in Boulder, Broomfield, and Erie. I actually think Eries fields are slightly nicer overall, but Westminsters Christopher Fields are a close second. The fields have seen a little bit of damage with all the rain weve received recently, but the grounds crew here is excellent and I expect conditions to be top-notch again shortly. The outfield lawns are regularly mowed, have nice thick, healthy grass, and are relatively lump-free. The infields are made up of a nice red dirt and are decently soft. This makes most hard grounders predictable. The grass lip going from infield to outfield is a little more pronounced than it should be, so Id like to see them work on smoothing that out. Though, its not nearly as bad as some other area fields (looking at you, Broomfield).Benders Bar now has taken over the concession stand in the middle of the complex. They offer mostly standard concession fare and most importantly, beer! Though you can purchase and drink beer here, it is not allowed in the dugouts. If thats important to you, you should check out Stazio Fields in Boulder.Bathrooms are always clean and never stink. The stands are concrete and drop from the main area down to field level, so that provides a great view from up above. There are a couple of gazebos at each field with picnic tables under them and I see families utilizing those quite often. The city also seems to hire good umpires, which is great. As far as a wish list goes, I would have really liked sunken dugouts, but thats just nit-picking.

PISS POOR LEAGUE ADMINISTRATORS. If you want to play here for a softball league, think again because the people who control the leagues for the city of Westminster only care about MONEY at the expense of new teams getting crushed by teams that need to be placed in a higher league! I will be writing a formal complaint letter to the city. Stay away from this place for any kind of fair level play!!!
