So MANY CHOICES in home decor year round. Im redecorating our home and Michaels store is equal to a candy store. Plenty of artificial flowers, wall art and more. Ill be back for more

As a guy who likes organization and ease of movement in a store, this place sets me crazy as soon as I walk in the door. However, Megan in the frame section was extremely helpful in selecting the right pieces for the memorial shadow box Im building for a recently passed Marine. By the time we were done I was all but whistling on my way to the register. Thanks Megan!

New store design caught me off guard. Quick service despite holiday lines. Easy access and new signs to find items.

Love the remodel. It did make me take more time in the store because I didnt know where anything was at but it looked great in there.

Pricing on framing is extremely unaffordable , checking out a local frame shop, innervisionsartgroup in waldorf md

It might be worth the higher prices (vs online shopping) if the employees were all crafty people who could answer questions about crafty things and make recommendations to novice crafters. Sadly, it seems many employees dont know how to use the stuff being sold here, sand therefore cant really help customers find the best solutions.

I had wanted to drop-off my Amazon package here but I couldnt because It supposed to have been wrapped up with the label and everything on it.Without that the package would not be accepted. You obviously cant drop off with access code like how you do at UPS

It is a mess in this store. I understand that they are under construction. But this is just ridiculous. If you’re a warehouse say that.

Went there for my wife and was surprised how clean and well managed it is..plus cashiers were super nice!!

Stopped by to pick up a couple scrapbooking supplies for a family member who is unable to get to the store. While I was there they were having an amazing sale on many items in the store. Everyone practiced social distancing, wore masks and the sales associate was extremely helpful. When I approached the line to pay the floors were clearly marked with tape with 6 ft spacing and a sales associate directed customers to available registers.

Variety of supplies. Good customer service. Even the offspring love it.

They are updating the store so its kinda hard finding what you want plus all of the holiday decir is coming in.

I went in today to look for picture frames. Joe (or Jo), the lady working that department was tremendously helpful. She measured my pictures and picked out my frames for me. It was a really wonderful experience.

Found what I needed and the prices were better than Walmart only downside was staffing...lines were too long, only 3 cashiers and the lines were down the aisle

The employees are not too friendly or helpful. Their prices are too high.I like AC Moores better. Employees are much nicer and helpful. I just wish AC Morrison do not go out of business! Their prices are much cheaper!

I went in today to look for some pipe cleaners, I asked for help since this store is currently under remodel. The girl I asked replied “we probably do but I don’t know where they are”. She didn’t even attempt to help. Crazyyy

Always a great time in a craft store!

First time at this location and it took me a while to find my paint supplies. The store wasnt busy and there was five ladies working at the front but only one register opened so had to wait a little while until they noticed another customer behind me so they opened a second lane.

Good selection but expensive and always a long line. Wish they had a better collage frame department.

Oh, the fabulous after Christmas items were what I was shopping for. However, I did purchase other items. I love going there because I always find what I need and more!

Long waits in line ebmverytime I go, but other than during their construction phase currently going on, they are generally well stocked!

The best thing about this trip wasnt a thing at all. It was being helped by Ms. Shania. She was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. A true lifesaver when an item in my online order was not available. She is the reason I will return to this location.

Ive been coming here for about 10 years and while its not the best its definitely not the worst. Staff is polite and helpful, but their main and very big issue is that they only ever have one person working the register, even when there are a dozen people in line. You have to actually ask an associate to call for backup. Otherwise its a nice store.

They have a great variety when things are actually in stock and the prices are reasonable, especially when you can use coupons. Service is so slow though. Hard to get anything out of locked cases.

Always have a great supply of the craft supplies that I need. Like all stores now, they dont have enough people on the floor to ask questions to. Always take my pictures there to be framed. Although framing prices are high, the work is excellent.

They didnt have everything I need

I dont regularly shop at Michaels but they happened to have the perfect shade of green yarn that I desperately needed to complete a few projects. I was lucky to come back a few days later and they had more yarn that I needed.

I have to share my experience. I went in with a Cricut coupon that was a really great deal but I got there and they were sold out of the product that was on sale. I asked a very nice lady (sorry I can’t remember your name) if she knew of any in stock and she then asked on the radio. A employee named Kevin answered her and got my name and phone number and said he would be unboxing the items and will call me if he sees any of the product. The next morning he called and had it held for me ️ Amazing employees !! Very helpful ! Thank you so much Kevin !

*Staff Review*First we want to say that we love Michaels. This Michael’s in Waldorf is usually operating short staff, but they do a great job. However, we haven’t been in a few months. Came into the store in search for small zip ties. Passed a young man in his Michael’s vest, stopped him with an “excuse me; can you tell me where the zip ties are?” His response was simply, “No.” (he is working register 2 tonight and the only male staff member for the person monitoring the google business review for this site.)He continued to put the cart of supplies up listening to music. The Marine in me wanted to destroy this young adolescent man, but I had to walk away because I was filled with frustration. Customer service is a hallmark of any business. I will not be visiting this Michael’s ever again. Amazon, Tag, your it.

Honestly, Ive never been a fan of arts and crafts. I just dont have the patience. But as my wedding was venturing a few months ago my husbands sister insisted on coming here to look at items for my reception dinner. I wasnt one to argue as I didnt have a clue where to begin.I do know someone personally who works here so we were able to receive some major discounts. I still dont like arts and crafts, but I can attest that Michaels has some unique and hard to find items. And some pieces they sell are really nice and can add the final touches to any event.Ive noticed that their prices somewhat fluctuate, but if you are a member and stay abreast of their sales you will be able to save money. Ex. I was looking for a huge Christmas wreath for my front door. I searched 3 different stores before I finally found what I wanted at Michaels. The beautiful wreath was originally $149.00, but they were having a limited 60% off sale and I capitalized, indeed! And if you have any affiliation with the military they also offer 15% off, which you can combine with other discounts.Definitely dont miss out at Michaels....they may have just what you need!

My Wife talked to a CSR at The Waldorf store because we were looking for some tealight candle light holders and he told us they had 10 of them there so instead of coming home we went to the store ( 30 miles out of our way) but once we got there THEY HAD ZEROMY WIFEY IS PISSED NEEDLESS TO SAYNOT MY FAVORITE PLACE RITE NOW

I like Michaels, but this one feels a bit too small. Its not a very comfortable shopping experience.

We had an excellent time at the store. They had everything we were looking for. Our cashier Tommie was excellent!!! To go to a store and have associates stop and ask if you need help is very refreshing. Then, to have a competent and helpful cashier is topping on the cake. We had a lot of small items and never once did he make us feel like he didn’t want us in his lane. He made sure to answer all our questions about prices and sales. He gets 5 stars for service! Thanks Tommie, we will definitely be back again!
