So cool to visit this lighthouse. Porta potty available. People there just enjoying the beach and waves. Seen a lady breastfeeding, not a complaint.

Main Street beach is amazing. I recommend aqua socks because of the rocks at the shoreline, but I love that rafts and other inflatables are allowed. No lifeguards so watch your kids carefully. Also, there were a few snakes in the lake.

Enjoyed seeing the lighthouse but you cant climb it and the maritime museum was closed. There is a beach right there but we didnt stay.

The volunteers manning the information booth were lovely and so helpful. It was a nice beach and the public comfort station in the park was clean and well stocked. We were impressed.

Right on volunteer bay. Very pretty beach, great view of Lake Erie! Go during volunteer hours and they will give you a brochure for a scavenger hunt for items to find on the beach. Fun for the little ones.

One of my favorite places to chill and watch a sunset

This area is a quick walk from the downtown and would be 4 stars but the museum that closed about five years ago is a HUGE eyesore as it is crumbling and has graffiti written on it. The area could also use a bathroom rather than a portable restroom.

Beautiful place in vermillion to relax, walk around and catch part of the beach. Its by the square where the wooly bear parade normally takes place.

Its a great spot to stop

Very scenic place to stop for a visit. Right on beautiful lake Erie. Walk around the quaint little town while youre at it. Have coffee or eat at one of the many restaurants. Walk the shore or boardwalk to see the boats.

Vermillion is cool but its not a vacation spot. If you wanna boat maybe. No diversity and I wouldnt go again honestly.

I had a wonderful time. This was my first time at the beach in years, with my wife and everything was so peaceful and relaxing. This the break we needed.

Fast friendly service. Inside wasnt open but the drive thru was quick.

Vermillion is like a seaside, New England town on the south shore of the Great Lake Erie! A quiet place to rest in this busy world.

Very beautiful and clean

For being a small beach, I have never seen it too crowded, even on a perfect weekend day. Very pleasant scenery with sandy beach, and mostly just parents with kids or individuals so not noisy. There is even a book nook where you can borrow something to read during your visit.

Its a cute beach. I learned today that the sand is brought to the beach when the lake gets drudged. I havent been to the museum, but it looks nice as well. Last time I was here was for a stroll on the beach with ice cream and the Mrs. Great idea for a date if youre looking for something scenic and, refreshing, and on a budget.

While there isnt much to see, in terms of a pier and the light house is smaller, its awesome to drive straight up to Lake Erie, get out and walk into the water. The lighthouse is right there. Sweet little spot, in a cute town.

Very pretty area! Smaller lighthouse, but wonderful view at the top. I think they include too many people in each tour group, though. Once you get to the top, it is shoulder to shoulder around the top of the lighthouse.

Its a fun place to visit with beach access. The light house is often locked but there are lovely views.Parking is tricky.

I just like old lighthouses, this one is small lots of history.

Beautiful and peaceful. Vermilion keeps it so clean. We visited late in the evening and many people were there enjoying the gorgeous weather.

Watched the sunset in my camp chair on the beach capping off a nice sunny day. Found pieces of coal and taconite in the sand, driftwood aplenty, the view of boats and freighters passing by and when the sun hit Eries huge horizon the expanse of light emitted by Earths star was spectacular! Mother natures canvas (sky) was colorfully painted and changed continually the half hour of sunset
