One of the nicest museums Ive ever visited. The shows in their gallery are professionally curated and the gardens are beautiful. Bring a picnic lunch.

Learn about out local history and Indigenous People. The Grace Hudson Museum is exceptional. There is a native plants garden and basket display which is very informative and moving. One basket had 100 weaves per inch if I recall correctly and still has to be kept in a test tube it is so small. The paintings depict Native Americans and evoke so much emotion. Details are so finite you can see lines upon a babys foot. Grace Hudson was an amazing person whose life and purpose, along with her husband, should be heard and seen. This piece of local history should never be lost. Also, there is a gift shop, rotating exhibits, and lectures. Parking is ample.

Theres lots to see and the staff there are very nice, this is a place full of information and relics and great for kids!

We throughly enjoyed the museum. We will be back and encourage our friends to make it part of their trips to the area.

Very nice historical museum featuring rotation of other exhibits as well. Much history about Grace Hudson, her husband and family... as well as the art and stories of the pomo and other indians she visited. There is an area with many indian artifacts for viewing and history about that as well.

Amazing little museum! We stayed for 3 hours. It was so wonderful to get a garden tour from Marigold. She was so wonderful. Love this museum! Such high quality and beautiful art. And I have been to museums all over the world. And this is one of my favorites.

Grace Hudson museum is a wonderful place to see beautiful handmade baskets and revolving art exhibit. I highly recommend it to everyone local and passing through town.

A place to view the art of Grace Hudson as well as her family tree and artifacts from the time she and her ancestors lived. Aside from that there was also an exhibit with nature photography (the exhibits change). You can also tour the Sun House where Grace Hudson resided. All of this for a pretty fair price for what you are getting to see.

Very interesting Museum. What a wonderful artist she was. Love to see the Indian baskets. And the tour through the original House was exciting. Just to see the way that they lived in that time

Wonderful experience here with very courteous and knowledgeable associates. The current native flower display was wonderful. Grace Hudson was a remarkable lady. Her artwork is beautiful.

Very interesting history and exhibits, especially Indian baskets. There is always a separate changing exhibit, right now its tattoo artists and history.

The best historical and cultural center in Mendocino County. Sherrie, Marvin and Karen are the best. They have brought great exhibits to the museum and are dedicated to creating awareness of local history and the life of Grace Hudson and her family available to the community. Make sure you stop in and take a tour of the Sun House and the museum galleries.

We are so lucky to have the first Friday art walk and have Grace Hudson museum participate. Loved the wild flower photo collection.

Nice place for local culture, call ahead to see if the guide is really there it you wont be able to view the Sun House.

When we went here they had a really informative exhibit on bird migrations. Learned a whole lot and the staff was very friendly! They even invited us back to tour the house with a docent.

Wonderful museum, with interesting changing exhibit, and the permanent exhibit, collection of museums namesake art, history, well worth a stop. Arrived too late in the afternoon for a docent led tour (and entrance) into the Sun House, but walked the gardens, and will go back!

This place will change your life. I immediately became a Museum member to support this historical experience. Come here and then over to the City of Ten Thousand Buddahas for look and lunch aday to remember.
