Great place to visit. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about all aircraft. They have plenty of stories to talk about. Volunteers are welcome. The air show is yearly in the summer. Open Tuesday through Friday 11-5 closed on Monday. They sometimes have special events. Book a wedding. The gift shop is pretty good

Great place to take the kids. Its small with only about a dozen aircraft. Lots of information and artifacts. There are two aircraft kids can climb into and around. There is also a mock control panel us use. Good customer service with a variety of discounted entry fees. Unisex restroom on site. Nice little store with something to interest most. Easy access and exit from the primary road.

I have been to the Museum of Flight and The Flying Heritage Combat Armor Museum and even though they have more aircraft they couldnt measure up to the great experience I had there! Its one thing to look at the outside of the Museums aircraft but its another to go inside the aircraft and to me thats what makes all the difference, and thats why I love this place they also have very generous prices. (Me and my dad both went in and all he had to pay was 4$ for my himself and 0$ for me)

Located at Olympia Airport. Parking out front. Mostly tended by volunteers. Interesting hangar with local nostalgia. A lot of work has gone into establishing this facility so drop by and drop in a donation. Enjoy a step back into history before we lose it.

Took my 4 yr. oldson last year. It was pretty cool! The place isnt that big and there isnt that many planes, but my son loved seeing the few planes that were there. The guy that worked there was really sweet, He gave my son an airplane in the gift shop! And of course I had to buy a few for him as well! We would go back, for sure. There were some pretty interesting things there.

Very small and not a lot to see. Okay for really young children. My 7 year old was extremely bored and disappointed. I enjoyed it more than her.

For a small museum, its very kid friendly. The boys were actually permitted to go aboard some of the helicopters and play at flying. The gift store is small, but the boys found some treasures to take home. The whole family enjoyed the trip. The caretaker was friendly and polite. A very nice place to visit full of memorabilia. An enjoyable as well as educational visit

This is an awesome little museum that offers a glimpse into the history of military aviation. The prices for admission are extremely fair and the gift shop is reasonably priced. The guy who was running the museum was extremely nice and very helpful/informative.

It is a very small museum. They have only 3 airplanes and 1 helicopter. The Corsair they have is beautiful and it flies. There are some static displays around the walls that are interesting. This is definitely NOT the Museum of Flight in Seattle or the one in Tillamook. It was a good way to spend an hour or so on a Sunday afternoon. The admission is $5, so its not expensive.

We took 4 kids ages 6-10 (girl and boys) and they all enjoyed it. It is small - just one hangar - but there are lots of really cool planes and helicopters packed into that small space. Nothing is roped off but you are not allowed to touch any of the aircraft or get into anything. This might be a consideration for parents of younger kids who would need more supervision. I think it would be nice if there was at least one aircraft (perhaps outside) that kids could sit in. There is a door out the back on the airport runway side with some aircraft and we were able to watch a helicopter take off. It is a bit overpriced for adults ($7) but the fact that kids 6 and under are free made up a little for that. It was $30 for 6 of us, which isnt too bad. Lots of history here!

Went there earlier in the year to check it out after finding out about it when getting a membership at the Seattle Flight Museum. My kids love it. The place is well taken care of, has great planes (loved the L-39) and the best part was the guy at the front was very nice, welcoming and helpful!Update: I will caution to call before you go. My family drove down there again in October. Checked their Facebook page and website to make sure they were open but when we got there, a sign was on the door saying it was closed for an event. Only thing I did not do before was call. They should post that type of closure on their website or Facebook to let everyone know ahead of time before driving down to see them. Kids were disappointed but ended up going to a farm there in Olympia to pick out pumpkins for Halloween instead.
