Nice course. It was well maintained and the greens were clean. Fairly flat. Staff has been helpful & friendly. Definitely worth a play.

You cant beat the prices for some golf here. Plus you get sleeve of balls. Titleist pro v1 or true feel which were actually $5 cheaper. Not very long but its made up on the greens. Tricky is an understatement. For this course to be so decently priced the condition I couldnt complain about.

Its a great course. Not the most challenging, but not too easy. This is coming from a 20 handicap though, so take that with a grain of salt.Off season is pretty mucky unfortunately. They do the best they can, but the fairways get pretty soaked in spots. Doesnt stop me though!

Cant go wrong. My favorite feature of this golf course is how perfectly walkable it is. The practice facilities are top notch as well. There ate two par threes that have alternate tee boxes and greens!

Wonderful restaurant and pro shop in the clubhouse and a great deal to play golf...$20 after 2 p.m. with a cart! Only four stars because no water was on the course especially during a 90-degree day. Hydration is public safety issue as much as the pandemic.

Course is in great shape, even though the greens are still repairing themselves from being punched earlier. Friendly service and cart girls are terrific!

Played 18 holes at Tumwater Golf Course this morning. It was a little smokey, but only about 70% of the usual Friday golfers were there, so took only 3.5 hours. Pleasant.

The Tumwater Valley Golf Course staff is fantastic! They are always welcoming, courteous and helpful. They efforts to provide a fun pleasant experience are visible and greatly appreciated! Keep up the great works!

I love the deals here. Sunday morning, early, 25 bucks and they give me a sleeve of ProVs! Course is pretty open and fairly forgiving, unless youre in the trees. Not a ton of sand, a little water, here and there. I really enjoy the playability of Tumwater Valley.Now, it is a wetter course, especially, early in the morning. Fairways and greens are soft, rough is dryer and firm. There are always grass clippings on your ball so carry a towel at the greens. The are no houses on the course. Practice facility is awesome!Overall, this is a course that I truly enjoy and I have no problem driving from Graham to play it. Recommend!

Was here for our Annual Holiday Luncheon/Meeting had wonderful assistance from our hostess, food was decent, banquet room was right on the green. A standard no meat/vegetarian option should have been available to the group as a meal option.

Was in town for a wedding and was able to rent clubs for $20 and a cart for another $5. They even upgraded my driver. After 9 holes the dinner party was starting and the staff let us finish later in the evening. Superb staff! Course was fairly easy to moderate.

I play once a week good value for the area plus a sleeve of balls. Wet all winter but great in the summer. Wide fairways helps my game a lot. Use the 20% off coupon at the restaurant on the day of play. Great for dinner.

Tumwater Valley is a great public golf course! Its nice open off the tee. It has some unique holes and some easy holes. Pretty good course to hone In your golf game. It also has by far the biggest range Ive seen in Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater out of the golf courses. Great pitching with bunker and putting green practice facility. The Valley also has a pretty awesome history. Arnold Palmer played there in 1971 I believe. Its got a great pro shop!! During Spring and summer, its hard to beat for price. I highly recommend!!

It was ok, but greens and fairways were punched and they never said anything when my cousin made the tee time. So not happy about that.

I wish I knew it had recently been punched and sanded. But I didnt know and forgot to ask. Oh well, gotta deal with it. The round is a good price Ill give it that. But the course conditions... Only OK. Greens were pretty bad cuz of the recent work. Not sure how theyll be once they grow in. Fairways are OK. Rough isnt too hard except the surface isnt uniform and sometimes you can draw a lie that looks like youre sitting in a dip. Some holes... Gotta watch for the red stakes on the right. And the really thick stuff youre not getting out of. Still, did do well on the front 9 at least. Wont talk about the last 6 holes.

Good course overall and I love playing here. That said... They schedule tee times 7 minutes apart so it does get backed up. They do not so a good job delegating tee times. I regularly see multiple two somes in a row. Or groups bigger than 4. They have a limited budget being a city course, but would benifit from having a course ranger. Lastly, avoid the restaurant at all costs if you have to be anywhere in less than an hour. Food is really good service SUCKS.

Good course for casual golfer. Wide fairways, Super practice facility. Grass tees at range. Separate chipping green with practice bunker and huge practice putting green. A lot of discounts and annual passes are a real bargain as they include unlimited range balls.Tees and fairways are showing wear from increased play. Many newer players so play can get slow.First Tee and Junior League for the kids to learn.Back tees are over 7000 yards but whites are just over 6000yds.

Great prices, good course, its usually a bit more crowded than I like. If you book a twosome the people you are supposed to be paired with often take off without you making the course even more crowded.

Service was good. Food was okay, restrooms were clean. Its not a destination for me. Got a lot of space for get togethers.

I came here for the fireworks on the 4th. Great show but parking was ridiculous. Actually the lack of staff and some kind of traffic control made leaving after the show nearly impossible and incredibly chaotic.

I wanted to go play a round of 9 holes by myself on my day off work. They told me on the phone to just come out and they would get me in. When I showed up they said I couldnt play by myself even with open tee times. I would have to wait and play with the next 2-some or 3-some. Im new to Washington and Ive never been told that before when I lived in the Midwest. Is that how things are in the Pacific Northwest? I guess Ill find another golf course.
