My favorite park since I was a little kid. We used to swim at the pool every summer...ahhh the memories...Scorpion football practice was there too, back in the day :)

We went to the off-leash dog park. Very nice, plenty of concrete tables spaced apart, a couple were under shade trees. Well kept.

Good Park if you come in the morning youll run into Tony, solid stand up East Coast guy retired with a couple huge dogs.

I went here to check out the dog park. The deputy director of the Tucson Parks Department told me to go there to see how beautiful the ground cover is. I had low expectations but even that was surpassed. The area was literally a fence around a gravel pit. Too hot too dead and barren. It was difficult and hurt when I tried putting my foot on the gravel. It sucks. Really Tucson? Major Fail.

Greta loves going to Palo Verde dogpark. It isnt as muddy as others and the people are all so nice.

My sons plays football for the Tucson Scorpions and I coach his team. We practice at PV park and I must say that this park is clean and well taken care of. People are friendly and clean up after themselves. Thank you Tucson Parks & Recreation and the community members that utilize this wonderful park.

Not many people go here so it makes it easy to walk around or play without too many people bothering you. Be aware though that the local school has practices there

The whole park smells weird but its pretty

Great park. Many lit ball diamonds, tennis and basketball courts. Would love to see the pools and high dives open.

What a wonderful and large dog park! It sits in a very quiet neighborhood and is well patrolled by homeowners in the area and has wonderful support from TPD to insure a safe family environment. Dog owners are respectful and there is lots of fun to be had. Also has separate small dog section!

Very nice park, real clean very safe feeling. My son had a blast running around, sliding down the slides. The park is full of big beautiful trees, and surprisingly quite a few bit of beautiful women... Just keeping it real . The splash pad is small but nice and a good sized pool with a couple diving boards.

Its not bad. I usually just use the dog park. Field is decently maintained, still alot of goat heads, around the perimeter. Not sure why the dog park is gravel, but dogs dont seem to mind it and its fairly round and smooth edged stones.

It’s good big size for my dog to run around and get tired. The people and the dogs are very friendly. They have trash cans for the poop and a water fountain for dogs. They also have benches through out both dog parks so people can sit and relax. The have two areas that separate the small size dogs and the medium-xl dogs.

This is a nice park aside from it being all gravel. There is a small dog park as well and there are scoops and rakes for picking up after your friends.

They were cleaning the park today it looked really good, dog park was full of all sorts of different breeds. Only one small play area for children though sadly with a bunch of room to expand.

Love this park it has an awaome splash pad for the kids until the end of October. Usually the place is very quiet you can get some me time in there but sometimes the City of Tucson clean up crew will decide harass you if they dont want you there perhaps If u appear to be a homeless person. That was rude otherwise very nice big park

Dog park here is Great!! Has 2 separate areas for small and large dogs. Everyone was very friendly and dogs well behaved. Best part was people actually clean up after their dogs!! Fun, safe place to bring your small or large pupcakes

This is the perfect park if you have small kids or a dog. There is also a tennis court. A lot of the time in the evenings there are kids games going on, usually the dog park is pretty busy around that time. The park is usually very safe although I have heard that there have been some incidents early morning before the sun rises. If you happen to go early Id recommend just being aware of your surroundings. The dog park is also lovely, Im not a fan of the gravel but other than that the people and dogs I have met there have been very friendly.

Decent park for sports

So happy they have put this park back in action. The pool was down almost my entire childhood growing up, and now they have a very small splash pad along with cheap entry to the pool with very friendly and informative lifeguards on duty! We will definitely be back again :)

Its gotten so many new upgrades it definitely is a loved park. Respected and cared for by the those who come new water park pool playground. Lots fields for baseball,socker tennis courts basketball . Some good climbing trees. Populated with all your friends as soon as you meet them. Fun to see all the dogs in the dog park.

My 3 kids absolutely loved the splash pad. It was great family fun. I liked that it wasnt huge so we had eyes on the kids easily and it was still very enjoyable.

I use the dog park all the time and its great.

Its a lovely and very green park with lots of cool grass and large shade trees. This eastside gem has a public pool, baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and large and small off-leash fenced dog areas. The Palo Verde Park neighborhood is safe, quiet, low in vehicle traffic, and very proud and protective of their park. The grounds and amenities are kept well maintained and clean through neighborhood volunteers and City Parks Recreation teams.

So nice to be able to take my dog off leash. She is very shy and needs more socialization.

It was nice and quiet this time of the evening. There were people with kids using younger equipment, slides and we seen some people at the free dog walk.very nice. As we left, we saw a group playing soccer

I was so disappointed in the condition of the park. I grew up in that neighborhood. I attended the Park Fest. The grass...if you want to call it that! Weeds and stickers...we call them goat heads. The toilets were over flowing. If you want people to come and enjoy this public place then please take better care of it.

Lots of open spaces to play, splash pad is pretty nice. Just remember to bring sunscreen!

My first visit. Didnt realize it was so close by. Watched Flag Football. Easy parking. Several fields and in season, swimming too.

Worlds tiniest splash pad ever. But it was clean and not crowded, the water wasnt bad either.

Park is nice during the day and the dog sections were ok. But my problem is the lawn there are too many stickers in the ground my dog had a hard time walking never mind laying on the grass. And the ANTS are horrible. Needs alot more TLC please.

Palo Verde Park has always been a nice clean little park and the addition of the free splash pad was an excellent decision!

Started coming here when I moved toTucson, I take my dog to run around. Friendly people. My dog has a blast playing with the other dogs. Recommend coming here if you have an energenic pooch.

We went to the doggy portion of the park. Its clean. I like that its gravel the dogs dont pick up the dirt.

This is a nice park. There are baseball fields, tennis courts, a basketball court, a dog run, and a swimming pool with a smaller wading pool for the kids. The city is in the process of converting the wading pool to a splash pad. The dog area also has bag dispensers to pick up after your pet.Theres a sidewalk that runs around the outside of the park, and youll regularly see people walking or running on it. Its about .7 miles if you go all the way around.The park seems pretty safe overall, but at night the east and southeast sides are poorly lit and some shady people hang out there.

Two restrooms, several drinking fountains. Dog park, tennis and basketball courts. Three baseball fields, one softball. Public swimming pool with a wading pool. Play equipment for toddlers.Many dead trees, mostly on the perimeters of the park. Grass looks great but theres a lot of spurge.

Park is very popular. Tends to clear out after 8:00/ 8:30 pm. I play ultimate frisbee here in the evening. Plenty of field space including basketball courts, playground, baseball diamonds, and football fields. This park has restrooms and a dog park.

Not the cleanest... Still fun with the kids!

Its a good park for getting some walking done. I think there should be a little more playground equipment. Especially swings for the older kids and they should be placed closer to the playground. There is a set of two swings that are far away from the rest of the playground area which isnt very convenient when you have little ones of different ages able to do different things. You cant be in two places at once to propwrly monitor them, so all the playhround equipment should be close to each other.

Nice walking path, well-lit at night. One lap is 3/4 of a mile; 2 laps is 1 1/2 mile; 3 laps is 2 1/4 mile; 4 laps is 3 miles.
