This is a small but interesting museum that is hard to find but well worth the search. Parking on the street is not easy but the parking garage is close by to the entire arts center. The temporary exhibit is of paintings from a chapel and is worth the visit. There is a small exhibit of modern art and some staff and student art.

The art is amazing. It changes frequently so every visit you get to see and experience new art. They also have a special gallery for student art work which is amazing because you can see artwork created by young minds. Its one of my favorite places to go. Its very peaceful. The UofA museum of art also has very reasonable prices for admission.

I went with my boyfriend on a weekend we had free. This was an amazing time and absolutely worth the admission price of 8 bucks. We spent two hours staring at everything. The Highschool art exhibit they had up, was pretty impressive. Those kids are so imaginitive!

You can hear yourself think. It’s 2 floors and usually not very busy. It’s in between small and big, so a good space. Their collection is pretty decent, and the staff is nice and a bit younger than at the downtown art museum. Also if you’re a student it’s free whether Pima or the u of a.

This Museum displays a broad variety of work from different historic periods, including contemporary. What is so special is by contrasting differing styles of work, they have created the perfect learning setting. A unique, temporary exhibit is photographs of stars whose time it took for the stars light to become visible is the age of the paired painting. Relationships and explanations are what this museum is about - perfect for learners of all ages, and small enough to inspire and not overwhelm.

Great hidden gem of a museum in Tucson. This is a University Museum so it has different types of exhibitions than traditional museums, including MFA shows and student guest curators, but that allows it to have many unique perspectives represented. The museum itself has an excellent collection for their size.

I was impressed. I can be quite annoyed at times, with a million questions. But a woman named Phoenix was so patient with my relentless inquiries on the subject matter and made my experience so much more enriched. She made me laugh, which can be a hard thing to do. Five stars for the event, five for her, and five for the organizers who know how to staff the best of the best

I enjoyed the eclectic nature of the collection. Its not a huge museum: but for the amount of square footage, you get to see quite an array of artists and styles. Exhibit themes were quite well thought out. Some medieval, some Renaissance, some modern. And quite a resource for students of art, with topics on restoration, technique, and art history.

Gorgeous location. They have some really amazing art on display. It isnt a huge museum, but it does take a good hour or two at a slow pace. If you really want to sit and soak in some of the art, you can spend several hours, if not multiple visits.Ideal spot for students needing anything art related for class.

Just delightful collection! Beautifully curated, both the rotating and permanent collections are eclectic and high quality. Part of the permanent collection includes a Jackson Pollock, a Georgia OKeefe, and a Norman Rockwell. There are some frustrating facility issues: entrance pretty difficult to find if you are driving there and unfamiliar with the university area, no clearly delineated parking, and inside the building itself there is a very pervasive mold type odor.

This is a very good museum for a university. Includes two Tintorettos. Particularly liked the Kress collection, which I think is an acquired taste. The first floor was blocked off because they were building a new exhibit, so we didnt get to see that, so my judgment is based on just the second floor. It seemed to be run by students because I did not see an adult supervisor the whole time I was there.
