The course is great. It has length and every obstacleyou could ask for. Even with the greens aerated they where firm and even with the friendly droppings you could still grab a putt or two. It was cool today. I cant wait to play there this coming season. You have a great course. Be proud of it. To all your staff take care and stay safe threw this epidemic. See you guys in 2021.

Nice course, but a bit tricky! Lots of brush/marsh/reeds to carry over... so, I lost lots of balls. Love the electric carts and well cared for course. Great landscaping up front and had a really great starter!

This golf course was a really nice course. It has great value for the money you play to play. I paid 20 for 9 and it was a great deal for that price. There where a few places that the tee boxes was beat up but not to bad. I would definitely come back and play the back 9 here as I really liked playing here.

Just returned from golfing at Sylvan Glen and haveTo say the fairways and greens is as nice as I’ve seen anywhere around town! Hats off the the Grounds Crew! I’ll definitely will be back! Highly recommend this course for the $$$

Serene, calm and quite environment. Great place to re-energize your brain and body after a long day.

Very well maintained municipal course and a very good price. Walkable. Multiple forced carry holes cross a creek with wide “native area” borders that winds through the course. A few greens have severe slopes from back to front such that anything that is above the hole is a likely 3 putt

Nice course with interesting layout. Had a farm feel to it. Facilities and proshop were very unimpressive but the restaurant connected looked nice.

Sylvan Glen Golf Course is a nice, friendly course which is fine for the average golfer, me. There are prettier and HARDER courses all over the place, but for my wife and me to get in a quick nine holes, the price and location are perfect. Will play again soon if possible.

I did not golf, bit the course was absolutely beautiful and very busy with golfers. I ate in the restaurant on the golf course, Camp Ticonderoga! The food was excellent. Drinks were delicious and the service spot on! I highly recommend golfing and eating here.

Good, open course, not overly difficult. Had fun. Staff was very friendly.

Had 6 beginners playing, paid for 18 holes but stopped us half way through for playing slow. We played the first 9 in 2h50m, not very slow, and had a rude interaction with Larry telling us we were playing unacceptably and being extremely rude to 2 teenagers. Horrible experience for beginner golfers.

This course ruined any ability to change my opinion on the game of golf. Longest round of our lives.No ranger , No beer cart girl. I would rather hot glue cheetos to my eyebrows than Golf here again!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE!! NO explanation from management!! Do not golf here!!!

The guys in the pro shop is terrible, I come here all the time and I love this course and I know there are busy, but I was trying to book an extra person and don’t give me any options just say “your last name and this is your ticket (Golfnow), ask for reinvent you” his name is Dan.

The starter here was extremely rude to us and place absolutely does not want beginners here. With that said if your a beginner come check it out and bring as many beginners as you can.

This place is as close to Upnorth as your gonna get in the Troy Burbs....cool atmosphere, decent eats.

Fishers trash the place. Gear ,lines ,hooked ,lures all over the place. Had to pull a hook out of my dog , just a mess. No fishing is a must to improve this park.

Nice course. Challenging

This is a tough but fun little course. Relatively fair but manageable long par 5s, a few tricky part 4s with interesting hazards, and a range of par 3s with greens which can have very tough elevations.Overall, much more beautiful than several years ago now there are more wetland and wildlife areas. Dont be too nervous if you have an audience if deer on the back nine.

Theres a restaurant at the golf course called Camp Ticonderoga. Its a great place! Great food, service and atmosphere. Ive been going there off and on for 20 years and have never been disappointed. They can also accommodate groups for functions

Course was in great shape! One of the first ones out and played 18 holes in 3 hours. Don’t be fooled with the short yardage of the course, it tempts you to play aggressive and punishes you when you don’t make a great shot. Playing the blue tees makes it a challenging course for even the experienced golf course.

I dont golf and I was only driving by here but it looks very pretty!

We go to Camp Ticonderoga Restaurant on Sundays for their delicious Roasted Turkey Dinner. It is so large, I always bring half of it home. My husband also enjoys their 5 piece Fried Chicken Dinner.

Nice muni course with a convenient location in northern Troy. Tends to stay wet with any significant amount of rain going on, but overall conditions are great. Wont lose many balls unless you dunk one in the river (which crosses several holes in both 9s) or you snap hook one onto Square Lake road.

Rude people work there. Wont be back again

The gulf course was a good mixture of easy and challenging holes. The food in the restaurant was very good, Id go back.

Third is a a great golf course! It is challenging but forgiving, which allows you to recover, score lower & have fun!

My hometown course, not too long but still a challenging layout. Food and staff at Camp Ti is phenomenal! Lots of local craft brews on tap and available in cans!

Played there yesterday evening and it was a very enjoyable round. The value was great. Course is beautiful and was in very good shape. Greens were very soft and a bit slower than I prefer. We also enjoyed dinner afterwards. The food was good and the staff is very friendly.

I always like going here. The course is well maintained, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Never had an issue with pace of play and have never had an issue with the greens. The clubhouse is a nice touch for a municipal course. It can be a little pricey which is the only reason I would not give this course five stars. 4.9 stars :)

Ate at Tycoderoga .. Chicken over cooked and dry....beaf stew tasty but meat was dry.

Good value! Large course, fairly well kept (for the price), great for after work or on the weekend. ProTip, opened all year long basically so you can play on warm winter days.

Well maintained for a very very busy public course. During peak hours pace of play can be somewhat of an issue. Reasonable rates if you look for the right times to play. No driving range here. Full restaurant and bar looks pretty popular, though never had more than a snack myself. I will continue to play here regularly. One of the better deals for the area.

Nice course. $38 was a bit pricey but location made up for it.

I visited this golf club twice.Everyrhing I have experience were good.Well maintained fairway and green.The staffs are polite and experienced.When I asked about kinds of green and fairway grass to the staff,The staff kindly gave me an answer.I also amazed the owners quick and sincere reply for the customers negativeexperiences.I think this golf club will be placedon the top in this area.

Pace of play is not regulated and completely out of hand. Over 3 hours to play 9 holes. Drove off the course when we got to the 13th tee after 4 hours. Will not be playing here again.

Visited the restaurant only. Always enjoyable food and service. Best days are the free cookies day.

I play this course about twice a month. Greens are in very good shape, rarely cart path only. Staff is great, allow carts in the lot for ease of loading and unloading. New this year... better beverage service on the course. Good experience overall.

Unfortunately my visit there was for a dinner after a funeral, however the catering of the meal was absolutely phenomenal the staff couldnt have not been more friendlier . If they had tried any harder.

Could definitely use a couple of renovations to the building. The golf course is great, but can get confusing if you get distracted on where youre going. The food and service is great, the workers are very involved in the community as well, a comfortable environment.

Very nice publicly owned golf course- some fairways were aerated in late September when I played, but greens were well tended and course was challenging but fair for average golfers. Small pro shop but great little restaurant!

Had lunch at the restaurant there called Ticonderoga. Food was excellent staff was very pleasant. Monday through Thursday they have free chocolate chip cookies

8/30 updated- my friend had cut and was bleeding unfortunately no basic medical kit at proshop or resturant . Its good to keep atleast a bandaid --Great golf course for troy residents. Friendly staff and looking for next summer

Could have told us no carts. They even ran out of manual pull carts.Why make it so hard.Another couple even called in advance for carts

Im sure its a fine golf course I just happen to not like golf. I would rather see the land currently used by golf courses to be used as parks or nature preserves. So many herbicides and pesticides are needed to keep the courses ready to play.

Played this place and loved the course lay out and it was well kept. The only problem I had was with an ignorant starter! A guy named David Stanley was a completely rude jerk. Pretty much ruined the experience! Management should wake up I see numerous people that had trouble with the starters here its a shame a nice place like this has such people representing the course!

Worst Golf course ever! Stuffs are very very rude! They always push us to play faster, but the problem is there are too many people!! Actually, most of time we are waiting for the group before us!!!!! Moreover, I paid online but they ask me to pay again!!! They are saying there are no online payment accepted. I looked at my receipt, it is even not my name!!! I have to call the online reservation service to talk to the front stuff and give my money back.!!!!!!!!

Very nice Municipal course. They do a good job of maintaining it and have a very nice restaurant relative to other municipal courses.
