A good place to play and rest.

Its a volleyball court right in the main downtown area. So during the summer its always super populated and people generally playing volleyball. As well as being a great place for a Sunset viewing. Its also right across from the Hotel Indigo. So its even better for those staying at that hotel.

Where Clinch park beach with the splash pool and larger Beach area is definitely more kid friendly the volleyball court side is more of an adult beach. Thats not a complaint, just an observation. There are usually groups playing b-ball or on the beach playing music, having drinks, etc, for the most part this goes on without any issues. Police regularly check on the beach in the afternoon, which is a good thing, and move anyone along causing problems or are too intoxicated. Mostly I come down for an impromptu game on the courts and have always met friendly people. The locals seem to watchover and protect the beach and that is always welcome.

I love that the volleyball courts and surrounding beach are well maintained throughout the summer! This is a great place to be.

One of the many great beaches in Traverse City. Really cant go wrong with any of them. If you have a big group get there early.

This place rocks. The best thing no leauge to hog the courts and screw up everyones fun.

The fam and i had an awesome little picnic here and swam for hours. The views are awesome and the people around us were very respectful.
