Great option to shoot and rent a variety of handguns to try before you buy. The staff is very helpful and, if youve been in a few times, easy to build a rapport with, if you want. Since we live in Michigan its an excellent place to get some range time in when the weather doesnt want to cooperate. Cant recommend them highly enough!

Shooters is our 1st stop for anything hunting or fishing related- they are fast and thorough with all archery needs/repairs and their stock of fishing supplies specific to our area is second to none.

Spent a week nearby skiing at Crystal Mountain and visited this place almost daily. Great range and ample selection of firearms for rent. Very professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

First time going to shooters today, and will be the last time going. The older gentleman was helpful with my ammo needs but the younger tattooed gentleman was a huge douche. Very condescending and rude.

The guy with tattoos had horrible customer service. Acted like there was so many people that needed to be let in to buy when my husband and I were looking to possibly buy a hand gun. He rushed us after only 10 minutes. And we were the ONLY ones there.Not going back.

Extremely great staff. Bill was very great and very helpful. Clean atmosphere. You have a sense of comfort. Your not discriminated against and your treated with respect. I drove 2 hours to get there from where I live and Ill be doing so over and over again. I highly recommend shooters range.

The open hours posted on google are rarely accurate. We have arrived on days that google says they are open and they are closed. We have called before driving almost an hour to get there and are told they close at 5pm but have to specifically ask about what time the range closes which was 4:30 not 5pm. We called 20 minutes prior to arrival and we were not told that they wouldn’t have any lanes open for the rest of the day. We were told when we got there that they had no openings for the remaining of the day, quite dismissively.

Asked about a thumb switch safety for a pistol, the only response I received was real gun owners dont use safetys. Thats well and fine for your opinion but Im the customer with real questions and concerns, not to mention real money I was willing to spend.Update, called about open lanes, had a few. Show up, see a few open lanes, guy tries to tell me there arent any. Also tries to convince us to leave so his lazy a** doesnt have to do any more work 45 min before closing.

I have been going to shooters for a couple years great people. Ranges are good lanes are down from time to time. Awesome test fire on pistols and rifles and best lay way options Ive seen. This is the only place my wife and I will go for all of my archery and fire arm needs

The guy Bill that works in the Archery department is a huge douchebag at best. He put the wrong string on my bow and wanted to include me in the responsibility. He obviously needs to work on his people skills. His customer service is a joke. He actually talked down to me and made me feel like it was my fault. This is a nice store, it deserves nice employees. Bill sucks.

Staff is very condescending & unwelcoming. Overpriced lanes that are broken down half the time. This is the only indoor range in town & they know it. Theyd go out of business if there were any competition around. Find somewhere else to shoot. Zero stars.

Helpful. Lots of stuff. Looks like they are bringing in fishing stuff soon too. Would be an excellent addition. I was very impressed with there willingness to help.

Usually they are great. Today called before driving 45 min for range time. The guy answers the phone and says we are busy, I dont know. No offer to check and call me back, just kinda rude and clearly did not care. Im happy they are busy, just offer to check. Dont just awkwardly blow me off. Got there and the lady working the range was nice and apologized for the guy and for not being able to get me in. So almost 2hrs of my day wasted because some dude on the phone was lazy.I will give them another try, but blow me off again and Im done.

It was my first time shooting today, it was awesome there!! The cashier, she was great helping me, she was awesome! We are definitely coming back!!!

The shooters staff is very friendly and helpful. As a prospective gun owner, I was instructed in basic features and use of some handguns of my interest. They worked with me and answered all my abundance of newbie questions. The try before you buy service was an excellent way to inexpensively try several firearms and see what the differences in firing them are for someone with no previous experience like myself. All-in-all, Ill be back frequently to purchase accessories and practice on my new gun!

Nice range. Felt safe. The man that oriented me didnt come off as overbearing or as the captain America type. Ill be back.

I have been in the store to use the range about 4 times. Every time the people buying or shopping for guns are getting mixed up with the people waiting in line for the range very frustrating and confusing no organisation at the counter. Half the staff are unfriendly and just frustrated themselves. A clothes line and a hand crank would be more reliable and use full then the failing electronic gadgetry. Could be a really nice place I would love to go back and find things just a little bit different.

I will never return to shooters. The word of mouth on shooters was bad but I decided to give them a try. It took my gun three days to be mailed from Florida to shooters but it took Bill four days (plus Saturday and Sunday when the post office is closed) to drive the mile to go pick the gun up. DO NOT USE AS A FFL

Shooting at Shooters Range is always a lot of fun. They are courteous and professional, just the way I like people to be.

7 of us went on Saturday feb 18 and got right in great prices and nice gun range

Unacceptable lack of service.More than twice the cost of range time anywhere else Ive gone, and today the attendant kicked us out 5 minutes early, and told us we were already 5 minutes over... Im guessing this is because we had to wait 10 minutes for the lanes to open up, and he charged us, and started the clock, while we got our gear and waited in the lobby. Also the target carrier in one of our lanes broke 3 times during our range time, and we didnt hear even an apology for the issue.If Tim didnt work there Id never be back. Katie is cool too.Im sorry we were an inconvenience.

Some visits are great and other times service is very poor. Overall a decent place to go.
